This humble sushi bar has been a favourite of mine for years. It has a combination of traditional sushi and other offerings such as rice paper rolls, also some dumplings, often a steamed bun or such. The food is always fresh and the sushi rice is better than the average offering. It's a good place to go with children too.The staff are extremely friendly.
A favourite of our family is the coconut sago dessert.

With an extensive range of plates, Sakura Sushi is putting in the extra effort with their ready made meals.
The staff are reasonably helpful. But the train is always full, so that's all that really matters here.
My favourite local. There is always fresh food put on the train and you can order al a carte if you want (try the Agedashi tofu soup). Staff are great.
Eat here all the time and the sushi is great and fresh. Always have a clean work area and good hygiene which is important as sushi is a high risk food.
Striving to improve. This place is my "local" for Sushi and I can say that over the last 12 months the owner has been striving to improve, especially the quality of the food. And to be honest there will always be 1 food that you cant get - tonight it was the pork puns. BUT, the other food that was available was excellent quality. The other problem the owner faces is the changing staff. Everytime the staff change, the food quality changes. The current crew have been there for and a while now and they seem to be right on top of there game. I was very happy with the food.
Its not the classiest place, but it is clean and bright.
And yes, the four seater tables are reserved for three or more people - it easier for families with children.
The sushi is good enough but I tried to order two different standard things off their menu and they were not available however price were low.
Delicious! Staff are always happy to accommodate bf's dietary requirements. The steamed pork buns are awesome.
Just a couple of minutes walk down my street, Sakura offers fair priced, decent quality and freshly made sushi and other dishes. A sushi train takes up the majority of the restaurant while workers prepare the food within the track where you can watch.
Best sushi I've had in years. Amazing sushi train (it is a real model train!) and the sweetest duo running the shop. Did I mention it is a BYO without corkage?! Definitely check it out - you won't be disappointed!
Used to live across the road from this place and miss my old home mainly for this. Closed between lunch and dinner so you know and taste the sushi is fresh. Amazing takoyaki, sushi and hot bowls. Don't see how people can complain about prices,, around $13 for a hot bowl is a deal with varying but always generous portion sizes. Lovely family run business and I hope many people continue to support this family run business as they are hard workers and produce great food I regularly treated my house guests to.

Our local go to sushi place! We have been going here for many years and the food is always consistently delicious. Super cute and family owned they remember and make our favourites for us as soon as we walk in the door.
I love this restaurant! The lovely staff are so nice to customers, and the food has become a regular in our household. We love the karaage donburi, chicken fantastic, rainbow salmon and pork buns (always succulent!), but there’s so much more to choose from.

Very fresh quality sushi! Also very efficient and friendly service, even though there were only 2 staff they kept everyone well fed :)
A cat figurine greets you and tells Sue and the staff you have arrived. Sue has been making Sukura Sushi a neighbourhood favourite for about 18 years, and she always offers great sushi, a huge variety (including vegetarian selections), and friendly service. The little train has done some kms as it circles round to bring you tasty treats. Meals are prepared in front of you, and Sue (or one of the team) always check if you want something from the menu. The free sweets available when you go to pay at the aren't the only sweet thing that will keep you coming back.
