Review Thai Mountain Restaurant - Brisbane

LM S
I had dinner there last week and the food was fantastic. The best barramundi dish and massuman curry. They can get quite busy so I recommend making a booking. It was definitely worth the wait and understand why they are becoming more popular than previous Thai Mountain. I look forward to seeing this restaurant continue to flourish. New owners have been there a month and I look forward to going back.

Great favourite of Thai mountain - new owners Palida Palace have changed the menu and increased prices. Entree was frozen (they stated the deep fryer was new and they didn't realise - they didn't charge so fair enough). Beef mussuman was huge serve but beef was chewy - Thai mountain was a small serve but melt in your mouth. The curry sauce for the mussuman was lovely. Pork garlic pepper was nice. Staff very polite but long waits and saw a lot of annoyed takeaway people waiting. We also waited a long time for our food. Overall a passable experience for a restaurant that's been open a month however I think they have a lot of ground to gain before we will become regulars again. I hope they take this review in the spirit it was intended - to be constructive criticism.

My wife and I had heard that there was a new Thai restaurant in town, it replaced our regular restaurant the "Thai mountain". We ordered our usuals, it took a while for the order to come but this is no fast food restaurant, everything is cooked fresh to order. Palida and the girls brought us our food and I must say, we were not dissatisfied at all, it was hot, fresh and spicy, just the way we like it. We will certainly be going back next weekend. 😁

I thought I would give this place a try as our regular thai was closed. The food was middle of the road however certain ingredients were definitely skimped on (cashew beef should have more than four cashews). We also paid for a large rice that wasn't received. The veggies however were lovely and fresh. The wait times also were also quite lengthy for what appeared to be, a relatively quiet night.

Way over priced. Hardly any meat in the meals, with undercooked vegetables and small portions. Lacked a lot of flavour... waited too long as they cut a meal out of our order because they ran out of ginger????and told me as I turned up. (I think the forgot my order) no where near as good as Thai mountain...

Excellent food and great service! Food was lovely and fresh. Really enjoyed the Thai green curry and ginger stirfry. The fried rice was also a hit with the kids. Would difinitely recommend you give it a go.

If you're looking for a decent Thai meal I'd recommend Thai Mountain. The food is quite generous compared to other places and most dishes are very flavourful. However I did find some dishes such as the green curry quite bland. The restaurant can get quite busy so make sure to book if you're planning on eating there.

I always get a delicious meal from this restaurant. I adore the Thai Red Curry with tofu and the beef Massaman was also delicious. Everything is made fresh in house and that is reflected by the quality of the meal you get.
