Love getting our Friday takeaway here.
I’m a bit of a basic Indian fan and love the butter chicken. The naan breads are beautiful also.
Service is always friendly too
It is a great place to dine in for North Indian cuisine. Authentic taste at a good price. It is a modest looking restaurant that offers very good food and service.
Went here for a rainy weekday dinner with the partner.
Complimentary pappadams were given after ordering. We ordered some Paneer Pakoras - crispy, hot and nicely spiced. For curries, we chose the Saag with Vege Koftas, and the Vindaloo with Goat. For both curries, we chose the 'hot' or 'two chillies', which was the perfect amount of heat and spice for us. Curries come with complimentary rice.
Casual ambience. Service was a little slow and rigid at the beginning. Reasonable prices. No surcharge on public holidays.
Overall, good homely Indian cuisine. Perfect for a cool rainy evening.
This restaurant has the loveliest staff, always trying to assist with my husband's gluten and dairy intolerance. Good to visit on public holidays as there is no surcharge. Try the butter chicken, it's the best. One of the best restaurants in Brisbane for customer service.
This is a relatively new Indian restaurant & I believe it is the partner to A Night In India at Toowong. Both restaurants are very good with gracious service. Food is nicely spiced, my aloo gobi had a delicate spice blend which partnered the cauliflower well. Rice was fluffy & separate with hints of turmeric. Naan nicely charred. Onion bhajis highly recommended
Incredible food, nice ambiance, friendly staff with smiley faces. This restaurant is at the top of the list of our go-to food places. I love this place and highly recommend.
Delicious food, friendly service, reasonable prices, and peaceful atmosphere. I couldn't have better than "Evening In India". Highly recommended.

We love Evening in India! We stumbled across it a few months ago and have been eating here regularly ever since. Special mention for the butter chicken, rogan josh, and divine naan breads. The best Indian restaurant in the area by far for food, customer service, and excellent prices. We will continue coming back (with pleasure).

We chanced upon Evening in India while waiting to access our accommodation in Manning St and were absolutely rapt. I've not found Panir Pakora outside of India and was instantly transported back to the ghats of Varanasi with pillows of light cheesy deliciousness with a gorgeous fragrant mint chutney. Even our fussy 14 year old raved about the mains of Chicken Tikka, Fish Masala and Veggie Korma, and the pistachio kulfi was the bomb. Service was attentive and friendly. Loved it, loved it, loved it 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We went for dinner. Staff was really welcoming and helpful for suggesting the right taste to choose from heaps of different options. We ordered mango lassi, Panir Masala curry, Palak Panir, and butter naans. Everything was so yummy. We loved the peaceful ambiance and music. Will be back soon.

Great place for a visit. Professional knowledgeable staff. Animals looked healthy and well looked after. 2-3 hours was sufficient for us to see the animals and 2 shows. Ice cream and coffee from the cafe were excellent. We would recommend a visit with kids. Pricing and difficulty of access to facility aren't great but acceptable.
Absolutely enjoyed our time here, one of the most memorable experiences. It’s definitely a koala sanctuary & one worth supporting.
The lines can be quite long for photos with the animals, best to book online to avoid delays, it helps slightly & really friendly staff everywhere all around.
There’s a cafe & toilets throughout the sanctuary, with birds & lizards walking around freely; so watch out where you step.
We booked the Mirimar cruise to & from the sanctuary, the best way to get there in our opinion, while enjoying the narrative & some history of what we pass by along the river.
Fantastic experience for the whole family, we got to see and touch animals, and watch live feedings absolutely terrific! We would recommend it to everyone in the area. Lots to do and see, fantastic enclosures. And wild animal life. We will definitely be comi g back
Great experience! They have all of the well-known Australian animals as well as some less known animals. You can hold a koala for an extra fee and they have a sheep dog show, a birds of prey show and some others. We'll worth your time!
Great day out with an almost 3 year old. She loved feeding the kangaroos and wallabies and spotting some joeys. There were so many koalas throughout Lone Pine. We loved watching them in the Cafe area while we had lunch as many were awake & moving around.
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is one of the best places to get in touch with the Australian local animals. Koala, bat, dingo, wombat, crocodiles, etc., are typical animals that you can find in the sanctuary. The sanctuary has guided tours and shows to explain the ecosystem of Australia and the way the local animals live. There is free car park next to sanctuary. Highly recommended to those who do not have private car to go to the Australia Zoo.
Fantastic place to visit for both adults & kids. We purchased yearly passes and have visited 6 times - excellent value! Excellent COVID safe practices, outdoor so you can very easily socially distance, adults must be vaccinated to visit etc.
Probably one of the best places in Australia if you want to see koala variety and quantity. It also has a variety of Australian animals but very limited reptile and bird partitions. Large and beautiful area to walk around.
