Last week I was at Toowong and decided to stop at Grill'd for a burger.

I had the veggie delight and a ginger beer.

The Veggie delight I asked with extra tomato relish as I saw someone making this suggestion at Facebook but I think I would rather have the burger as it is since the relish made it a bit too sweet for me (which is my on fault of course). The buns were fluffy and apparently fresh but the patty was a bit dry, at least drier than the one I had at Rosalie. Overall I enjoyed it as always, would rate a 4 out of 5.

In conclusion I still think that the Rosalie shop is the best one but if in Toowong I wouldn't think twice before coming here again.

Its a solid grilld restaurant, pretty fast considering how busy it can get, and good hours. I always get the chicken burgers, and unlike some other grilld rrstaurants, the chicken is always cooked perfectly, which is obviously a huge plus!

Tried the mushroom burger for the first time, liked the size as it's as big as meat patty but quite disappointed at the blandness of the cheese and small amount of pesto. Restaurant ambience is very nice though and the staff are friendly

Great service, our servings were perfect, tasted amazing! I got the garden goodness on the low carb superbun, and my partner got the big queenslander on the traditional bun and we shared a regular chips. :)

If you are one of lamb lovers, maybe this restaurant will be the best for your choice like my mom and my dad because they serve lamb burger. But I don't know the taste because I don't like lamb so I can't taste it. But my mom, my dad and also my aunt told me that it was delicious.

When I came here, I tried their beef burger. It was delicious and also big. I couldn't finish my burger because of that portion. You can choose the type of bread that you want in your burger. They only have 2 types.

If you want to drink a hot beverages, you can't get it in this restaurant, but the waiters allow you to buy a drink from the outside of this restaurant and drink it here like I did yesterday.

The waiters were so nice and the restaurant was so cozy.

I have tried many Grill'd restaurants across QLD and rate the Grill'd Toowong as the best. The quality of ingredients is absolutely fresh and the burgers are grilled very well to give you the greatest taste of burger. The decoration and interior design are fantastic and both families and friends can enjoy the place. Toowong Village offers 2-hour free secured car park where you can park hassle-free.

I have eaten here once as I’m not local to the area. Well I’ll skip my local (and very dismal) Grill’d and drive 35km from my home again just it eat here. Excellent food and service when it was busy - can’t fault a thing. You may make some of your other stores look VERY bad unfortunately. This appears to be a very high performing store on all levels. Your excellent review rating truly does the talking for you! Go team!

Even though the restaurant was nearing closing time and staff were clearing up for the day, they were still happy for us to come in and order. Excellent service by friendly staff and our 3 meals were well presented and delicious.

We visit this Grill’d restaurant in the Toowong Shopping Village quite regularly, and we’ve never been disappointed. Our latest visit on a Saturday evening in August, was no exception. We arrived at 5.45pm to find an empty restaurant, but that didn’t bother us. We chose the nicest table in the upper section, where we were quite comfortable. By the time we left, an hour later, there was a reasonable turnout, and the place was about half full. We ordered a couple of our favourite “Mustard & Pickled” burgers ($14 ea), a bottle of Stone & Wood Pale Ale ($9), a cold drink and a so-called “large” serve of sweet potato chips to share (actually quite small for $9). That all came to a hefty $65, including an extra $3 for two “low carb” buns, which is a bit of a waste, as it tastes no different from the other buns. Not the best value for money, but I guess it’s a sad indication of how our little Aussie peso has sunk to “Weimar Republic” levels. Think about it: Three little burgers, two drinks and a few chips for $65. Crazy. Putting that frustration aside though, the burgers are consistently tasty, fresh and delicious. The Mustard & Pickled burger has a nice juicy patty, topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and tangy dijon mustard. The fluffy sweet potato chips with a crispy coating, were the perfect accompaniment. As it says at the bottom of the receipt “Made With Love”, and they aren’t exaggerating, because the food here is made with love, care and attention to detail. It’s always of a high quality, which is why we tend to come back. But what really makes this place one of my faves, is the fast, friendly and efficient service. Ordering and payment is done at the front counter, and within a few minutes, the food is delivered to the table by one of the staff, always neatly turned out in a smart uniform. The whole place hums like a well oiled machine, and it’s a pleasure to dine here. Furniture is fairly utilitarian, mainly wood and steel, but tables are large and easily able to fit all the drinks and the food. The ambience is relaxed, casual and laid back. To add to the convenience, there’s ample parking in the centre, where the first two hours are free. And, given the quick service and small portion sizes, you won’t need more time than that. Toilets are clean, well provisioned, and easy to find either in the nearby food court or behind the Flight Centre, a bit further away. There’s ample seating, inside and outside, so no matter when you go, you’ll always be able to find a table. This is a cool place and perfect for a last minute get together with friends or family. But they need bigger plates, more serviettes and a bottle of liquid hand soap on each table, to clean up afterwards, as it’s inevitable that some of the fillings will squelch out onto your hands.
