Absolutely love this place! Great facilities, relaxed vibe, really chilled atmosphere đŸ‘đŸœ Whenever I'm in the area, my go to spot for a pint! The kitchen with head chef Lee at the helm...The man can cook up a storm! Great food Everytime and a great yarnđŸ‘ŒđŸŸ Definitely visit the Albion Hotel.

Food Being just my wife and I, we stuck to a fairly simple ordering protocol; starting with two drinks, followed by an entrĂ©e and then two mains, supplemented by an extra glass of our fav “Squealing Pig” Sauvignon blanc to wash it all down. For the entrĂ©e, we chose the “calamari fritti” with citrus aioli ($14), while the mains were the “chicken supreme” ($27) and the Moroccan lamb pizza ($26). The calamari was soft and chewy; accompanied by a smooth and creamy aioli sauce. Perfect way to start the evening. And the mains didn’t disappoint either. My wife's chicken supreme was a tasty and satisfying dish, with generous pieces of succulent chicken, served with fresh rocket salad, potato cakes that were as soft as butter, and garlic sauce. My Moroccan lamb had lashings of tender lamb slices, cheese, spinach and caramelised onion. As good as any you’d get at any Italian pizzeria. Portion sizes were generous and we both enjoyed our meals. Presentation was neat on smart, modern crockery. Service We were warmly greeted on arrival by the manager, and shown to a nice table on the outdoor terrace, in the part of the venue, known as the “Cucina Restaurant”. This is the kind of place where you’ll feel welcome the moment you walk in. Amy, our server for the night, was polite, friendly and efficient. She was perceptive too, helping us to choose the right table, in a quieter part of the restaurant. Our order was promptly taken and drinks, entrees and main courses came out in a steady clip and in the correct order. It was a pleasure to enjoy such professional service. Thanks Amy. Vibe The Albion is a stylish, airy and spacious venue with multiple dining areas, inside and outside, pub style or bistro style: there’s something for everyone. It exudes history and old world charm and if you take a walk down the corridor you’ll see a pic of the original hotel built in the 1860s, alongside a framed narrative of the story of the site. As a history buff, I loved that. Furniture is comfy with colourful wicker chairs and solid steel tables that were able to fit all the drinks and the meals. The vibe is relaxed, casual and laid back. Tables are well spaced out, meaning that acoustics were good and we were easily able to converse. But I guess as the weather cools, indoor dining would be more suitable and you’ll have plenty of choice of where to sit. Cost We paid 88 for three drinks, including a pint of my fav Gt Northern Super Crisp Ale at the specials price of only 6, an entrĂ©e and two mains. Given the excellent quality of the food, generous portion sizes and efficient service, it was money well spent. But it really just goes to show the extent to which inflation, driven by massive govt overspending and free money for all, has completely eroded the value of our little Aussie peso. Toilets Toilets are clean and well provisioned with soap and hand towels. They’re clearly signposted and easy to find in the middle of the venue. Parking There is a car park right in front of the venue, which also serves the adjacent BWS Liquor Store. Apparently payment is required to park, but if you give your car reg to the manager, he’ll make sure that you aren’t charged. Having the BWS liquor store right there is handy and convenient, as you can stock up the liquor cabinet on your way out. Summary We had a fab night at the Albion and everything ran smoothly. The Albion is part of the A.L.H. Group of hotels. We’ve dined at many of them in and around Bris and never been disappointed. The Albion was no exception and it completely met all our expectations. Here you’ll find all the ingredients for a laid back, relaxed and super comfy night out with family and/or friends. We’ll definitely be back.

Enjoyed a lovely meal tonight, as usual the staff are super friendly and helpful. The manager on tonight was amazing, she refunded our meal as the steak wasn't cooked exactly to our request and the mains came out too quick we had barely gotten half way through starter's! We never asked or expected a refund but this small gesture is the difference between customer service and retaining a long-term patron. This made our Easter weekend Thank you ladies we will be back soon 😊

Had the best experience here! I think it was Hannah that looked after my friend and I and our 2 dashhounds when we came in for dinner. From the moment we approached the door she was attentive and helpful. My friend and I both had steaks and they were fantastic!!! Melt in your mouth perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back again soon. Thanks guys, great venue. 5 stars!

Great discovery! The staff are very efficient & friendly. The most delicious Sicilian Salmon, gluten free, thanks to a knowledgeable chef. Have been there at least 3 times in last 2 months and always been happy.

Generally has been a decent pub for the ten years I have worked in the vicinity, however staff are currently unable/unwilling to help resolve issues when 'their' system is unable to process eligible discounts. Other pubs have had no system issues when paying separately using discount offers, and the decision by the manager at the time to not find a solution, but to shrug and blame the 'system' left the mediocre meal I had even more bitter . (Overcooked from medium rare, and a pretty fatty rump piece, issues I initially wrote off as this was a large group pre-order) Fortunately there are several lunch options in the vicinity to provide alternatives in the future. EDIT: While I appreciate the manager leaving a response here and I attempted to call them, I would appreciate if my place of work was edited out of the response for privacy reasons

Best place in Albion! The staff Josh gabby and Jackie are all time
I have never had such amazing service and experience. Very welcoming and good times always. Food is okay but here for the drinks and vibes !!!!!!!!!!!

Love going to the Albion for a casual beer and wine but we are here very regular for lunch with the whole family. The ceasar salad with extra chicken and the surf and turf special for $25 are my favourites.

There is good food, decent food, decent pub food and then finally there is garbage. <br/><br/>The Albion Hotel kitchen easily falls into the garbage category. There is nothing remotely fresh that comes out of this kitchen. Anything from the ocean is to be avoided as well because it's quite clearly frozen and then thawed out for consumption. It is lazy, uninspired and completely falls short of decent pub food. <br/><br/>If you want to charge $30 for a chicken parmy you could at least have the inclination to put a decent salad on the plate - a few stale lettuce leaves and some red onion does not constitute a salad! Not to mention my partner and I sent back our chicken parmies TWICE because they were both raw on both occasions! <br/><br/>This is clearly what happens when a pub falls into the hands of a Coles or Woolies and lose their independence!Thankfully they refunded our meal and we were on our way.

This pub is a histroy maker!"The name Albion comes from the Albion Hotel built by Thomas Hayseldon (also written as Hazeldon), which was so called because the white wall of John Petrie's quarry reminded Hayseldon of the England's white cliffs (Albion being an old name for England, from the Latin albus meaning white). From 1866 to 1870, the proprietor was Edward Hudson"<br/><br/>Not a big fan of this pub, but one thing REALLY  like is  they put the prices of their spirits, liquors and beers (some) on wall so you know what you're expecting

I've always had good food here. It's been my local for a long time. Great for lunch and dinner. Love the outside area. If you want to just have a cruisy time with some mates at a pub, this is the place to go. Their wine list is more than decent. Service is hit and miss, but the food makes up for it.

Good pub meals - this is my local pub. Always big servings and not greasy like traditional pub meals. <br/>Pizzas are always nice and not overly cheesy/greasy. <br/>Lamb shanks are delicious. <br/>Salads are always fresh and crisp. If you want the traditional chicken parmy you won't be disappointed. <br/>Service is very basic, you order at the restaurant bar, grab a number and get your own cutlery. Staff are always friendly and it's a quick turn around from ordering to the food arriving at your table. <br/>Trivia on a Thursday night is good fun, plus $10 parmies. Always a wide range of people there, and they cater for all age groups/crowds

Hit and miss. For the price you can get a good "pub meal". Stick to the usual suspects or the pizza. Good atmosphere on a Friday or Saturday night

Poor service & medicore food. What a disappointment!! $120 for two people to get served the incorrect drinks and incorrect meals - not once but throughout the entire meal!! Ordered steaks medium rare with vege x2 so pretty easy you would think. We both got totally different meals and when we pointed it out we got given two more meals.......still incorrect!! Have lived in the area for 10 years and I will never go there again.

I hardly ever complain but. Sunday afternoon lunch. The waiter (David) looked like something out of a horror movie. Zero personality and his clothes were filthy and he did not bother to have a shave. We got our meals which were if anything ordinary the chips were yuk and a beer and a soda water was over $50.00.... would have got a lot better quality and value at a local RSL. We finished out meals and not once did someone come over to ask us if we wanted another drink or needed any thing or was our meal ok.

Our perfect engagement!. A massive thank you to the entire team at the Albion Hotel for all of your assistance with our Engagement Party! You made our night with a massive 130 guests perfect. From the pre event prep with decorations, additional furniture and a custom menu to the fabulous staff on the night that made the evening run so smoothly we are extremely grateful. A special mention to Caitie who went above and beyond the call of event manager, Jude who ran our private bar like a boss, Josh and Aofie for taking care of us and ensuring everything ran smoothly and Dave for managing hay bails. Thank you! C & S.

Non-existent food & service. My partner & I went to order a meal this evening @ 8:45pm. We were suprised that kitchen was still open, however we never received the soup & parmigana that we ordered! Slack service, not going back!

Service is okay. The meals are overpriced and lack flavour. Not a bad pub for a few after work drinks but I certainly would not recommend the food.

This place is pathetic. I have never come across such rude staff. I will never give this place another dollar until they change every single staff member. Go somewhere else!

Service was mediocre at best and the medium steak was well over done. Te mash was inedible and don't order any sources. I was disappointed considering the actual restaraunt is quite nice.
Sara Martin
Very disappointing. My medium rare steak came out well done. Two of three sauces for our steaks were incorrect. Drinks service was non existent! The quickest service we had all night was receiving the bill.
Tarsha
YUCK!!. Rude service. Disgusting food... Would not return. I wanted to change my order half way through as they were using old oil to cook in - was told your meal will be right out therefore couldn't swap.... The meal didn't arrive for another 40 minutes......

Convenience can lost $$$. Too hit and miss and $$$$ for what it is. Don't try it if you're not prepared to take a risk. This place is more of a 'see how the chef is on the day' place. One week you could have the most beautiful steak sandwich cooked perfectly, fresh salad and bread. Other weeks it can be dry with overcooked warm chips but still costing around $15. Beer and wine is CBD pricing. Better suited to 'after-work' stop by but definitely not for a night out.
Lana
Service is terrible, very slow. Food is awful pizza base appears to be bought from a supermarket. Coffee wasn't good either, couldn't even finish it! Very over priced for the 'experience'

Rude staff, slow service and mould in water bottle. The water bottle for our table had a layer of mould in the bottom. Hardly appetising. Sure, things happen, stuff doesn't get cleaned like it should and mould grows - but they could have at least apologised for it. Instead when we told one of the girls, she replied "oh awesome" in a sarcastic tone. She then brought us back 4 glasses of water, and no apology then either.

Rubbish , rude , surly and miserable staff,, Don't bother wasting your time with this place,, unless they replace all the staff
TC
Never experienced such slow and rude service!! We could hear the staff speaking very loudly in front of customers about how much they didn't want to be there. Food was overpriced and average at best. Will definitely not be returning.

Service a bit slow and all over the place but love the interior design and the steaks are awesomely yummy.

Food was good, nice range of beers on tap. Really slow service, a major detraction.

Everytime I'm head to the Albion im always impressed with their service and food! The girls are always smiling and willing to lend a hand. I always leave with a smile!!! Great big outdoor dining area, would be great for a Sunday sesh in summer! Will definately be returning!!!

Slow Service ...always. Pub hotel with a modern twist. I really like this place but the dozen times I have been I am always grumpy of how SLOW the service is. I ususally go before the comedy across the street. But the meals only come just in time and the wine list sucks. I like the interiors and the crowd is great but they could pick up ther game with faster service and a better wine menu.<br/>The steaks are wonderul...
Jodie
Very bad service!
Tim
Disappointing. Great fitout and very nice atmosphere.Gives the impression of dining in a modern gastropub. Unfortunately the food doesn't quite live up to the look. Service is a bit clunky as well.
