Love going to the Albion for a casual beer and wine but we are here very regular for lunch with the whole family. The ceasar salad with extra chicken and the surf and turf special for $25 are my favourites.
I've always had good food here. It's been my local for a long time. Great for lunch and dinner. Love the outside area. If you want to just have a cruisy time with some mates at a pub, this is the place to go. Their wine list is more than decent. Service is hit and miss, but the food makes up for it.
Good pub meals - this is my local pub. Always big servings and not greasy like traditional pub meals.
Pizzas are always nice and not overly cheesy/greasy.
Lamb shanks are delicious.
Salads are always fresh and crisp. If you want the traditional chicken parmy you won't be disappointed.
Service is very basic, you order at the restaurant bar, grab a number and get your own cutlery. Staff are always friendly and it's a quick turn around from ordering to the food arriving at your table.
Trivia on a Thursday night is good fun, plus $10 parmies. Always a wide range of people there, and they cater for all age groups/crowds
Our perfect engagement!. A massive thank you to the entire team at the Albion Hotel for all of your assistance with our Engagement Party! You made our night with a massive 130 guests perfect. From the pre event prep with decorations, additional furniture and a custom menu to the fabulous staff on the night that made the evening run so smoothly we are extremely grateful. A special mention to Caitie who went above and beyond the call of event manager, Jude who ran our private bar like a boss, Josh and Aofie for taking care of us and ensuring everything ran smoothly and Dave for managing hay bails. Thank you! C & S.
Service is okay. The meals are overpriced and lack flavour. Not a bad pub for a few after work drinks but I certainly would not recommend the food.
Service a bit slow and all over the place but love the interior design and the steaks are awesomely yummy.
Everytime I'm head to the Albion im always impressed with their service and food! The girls are always smiling and willing to lend a hand. I always leave with a smile!!! Great big outdoor dining area, would be great for a Sunday sesh in summer! Will definately be returning!!!
Absolutely love this place! Great facilities, relaxed vibe, really chilled atmosphere đđœ
Whenever I'm in the area, my go to spot for a pint!
The kitchen with head chef Lee at the helm...The man can cook up a storm! Great food Everytime and a great yarnđđŸ

Food
Being just my wife and I, we stuck to a fairly simple ordering protocol; starting with two drinks, followed by an entrĂ©e and then two mains, supplemented by an extra glass of our fav âSquealing Pigâ Sauvignon blanc to wash it all down. For the entrĂ©e, we chose the âcalamari frittiâ with citrus aioli ($14), while the mains were the âchicken supremeâ ($27) and the Moroccan lamb pizza ($26). The calamari was soft and chewy; accompanied by a smooth and creamy aioli sauce. Perfect way to start the evening. And the mains didnât disappoint either. My wife's chicken supreme was a tasty and satisfying dish, with generous pieces of succulent chicken, served with fresh rocket salad, potato cakes that were as soft as butter, and garlic sauce. My Moroccan lamb had lashings of tender lamb slices, cheese, spinach and caramelised onion. As good as any youâd get at any Italian pizzeria. Portion sizes were generous and we both enjoyed our meals. Presentation was neat on smart, modern crockery.
Service
We were warmly greeted on arrival by the manager, and shown to a nice table on the outdoor terrace, in the part of the venue, known as the âCucina Restaurantâ. This is the kind of place where youâll feel welcome the moment you walk in. Amy, our server for the night, was polite, friendly and efficient. She was perceptive too, helping us to choose the right table, in a quieter part of the restaurant. Our order was promptly taken and drinks, entrees and main courses came out in a steady clip and in the correct order. It was a pleasure to enjoy such professional service. Thanks Amy.
Vibe
The Albion is a stylish, airy and spacious venue with multiple dining areas, inside and outside, pub style or bistro style: thereâs something for everyone. It exudes history and old world charm and if you take a walk down the corridor youâll see a pic of the original hotel built in the 1860s, alongside a framed narrative of the story of the site. As a history buff, I loved that. Furniture is comfy with colourful wicker chairs and solid steel tables that were able to fit all the drinks and the meals. The vibe is relaxed, casual and laid back. Tables are well spaced out, meaning that acoustics were good and we were easily able to converse. But I guess as the weather cools, indoor dining would be more suitable and youâll have plenty of choice of where to sit.
Cost
We paid 88 for three drinks, including a pint of my fav Gt Northern Super Crisp Ale at the specials price of only 6, an entrée and two mains. Given the excellent quality of the food, generous portion sizes and efficient service, it was money well spent. But it really just goes to show the extent to which inflation, driven by massive govt overspending and free money for all, has completely eroded the value of our little Aussie peso.
Toilets
Toilets are clean and well provisioned with soap and hand towels. Theyâre clearly signposted and easy to find in the middle of the venue.
Parking
There is a car park right in front of the venue, which also serves the adjacent BWS Liquor Store. Apparently payment is required to park, but if you give your car reg to the manager, heâll make sure that you arenât charged. Having the BWS liquor store right there is handy and convenient, as you can stock up the liquor cabinet on your way out.
Summary
We had a fab night at the Albion and everything ran smoothly. The Albion is part of the A.L.H. Group of hotels. Weâve dined at many of them in and around Bris and never been disappointed. The Albion was no exception and it completely met all our expectations. Here youâll find all the ingredients for a laid back, relaxed and super comfy night out with family and/or friends. Weâll definitely be back.
We stopped in the as our son is thinking about having a small wedding reception there for around 20 people so we had a look at there wine room looks nice just the right size
We also had lunch there that was very nice as well
Great parking there and only across the road from the train station as well.
Enjoyed a lovely meal tonight, as usual the staff are super friendly and helpful. The manager on tonight was amazing, she refunded our meal as the steak wasn't cooked exactly to our request and the mains came out too quick we had barely gotten half way through starter's! We never asked or expected a refund but this small gesture is the difference between customer service and retaining a long-term patron. This made our Easter weekend Thank you ladies we will be back soon đ
Had the best experience here! I think it was Hannah that looked after my friend and I and our 2 dashhounds when we came in for dinner. From the moment we approached the door she was attentive and helpful. My friend and I both had steaks and they were fantastic!!! Melt in your mouth perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back again soon. Thanks guys, great venue. 5 stars!
Great discovery!
The staff are very efficient & friendly.
