Ordered some Oysters and had deep fried cravings so I got the Fisherman's basket and tasted very fresh unlike most seafood joints 👌 really great staff too! They even went out of the way to replace our Oysters we already bought to make sure we were eating a fresh batch, thanks!
My favourite local fish and chips. Always great service and fish cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place to all. Love looking at the fresh seafood when I’m waiting for my order to be cooked.
This eatery was on my list for a long time. Correct me if I am wrong that this fish market is the sibling of the Fish Factory in Morningside. It was a shock after I parked my car and realised that its venue is so big. Went in and my gaze was caught not by the section of fish & chips but all the fresh seafood sitting at the display. Heaps of whole large salmon, shellfish, live fish in the tank...OMG! Ordered the mixed grill for one and a surf & turf meals. Rushed to take a seat and opened the take-away packets. Wow! I got two large pcs of rib fillets, five to six king prawns and potato wedges with my Surf & Turf. The mix grill includes bay bugs, scallops, calamari, octopus and prawns with chips. Portions are generous and needless to say the seafood is very fresh. The only comment is that there is no indoor dining area, which is not that comfortable to have your meals under 35 degree in the hot summer.....
My second time here and since I knew what I wanted so I straight away ordered the mix grill seafood package which was included chips and can soft drink. The mix grill package contain of Moreton bay bug (2 halves), 2 prawns, 2 scallop and salt pepper calamari. Everything was fresh and good except scallop was a bit over cooked. Beside it, we got some cooked prawns, couple oysters and grilled fish (Tailor).
Basically, they have extensive choice of seafood and they can also fillet the fishes without additional charge. Good place for fresh seafood and friendly staffs.

Had a 2hr swim at AJs with family this morning and dropped by this place for some lunch since we were super hungry. We had the cod basket, a platter for two, and a dozen freshly battered coffin bay oysters. Fish was crumbed nicely and very well seasoned, calamari was excellent, and so were the prawns. Only let down were the chips and oysters. Batter for the oysters were little too thick and very slightly doughy without any seasoning. Had a few undercooked chips in the half we finished and had to stop because it tasted a little 'powdery'. Otherwise, everything seemed good, the staff were friendly and very helpful, prices are reasonable and most importantly: the seafood I can see was fresh. I give this place 8/10 for 'fish'n'chips'
Seafood here is great and I can't really complain about the wide variety of fresh seafood available. Staff are always attentive and more than happy to help you with your needs.
The staff are always friendly and the seafood is fresh. I buy my sushi grade tuna from here and it's so good! Well priced, bring back the scallops in shell!
As a far as fish and chips go the best i have had in living memory, Â fish is very fresh and their deep frying oil is very clean tasting which makes all the difference
A great fish and chips place. This place is pretty busy like the other two restaurants next to it. The market has a middle area for people buying fish and a side counter for people dining there or takeaway. There's a couple of tables outside the market store and there's often people there enjoying their meals. The staff are friendly and efficient through their busy days and afternoons.
The smell of fish inside is super strong due to the amount of fish and small space but you get used to it the longer you're inside. We went in and ordered some fish and chips as well as their rice pudding. In the cabinet next to the counter they have a lot of salads and desserts to add to your dinner that all look made with care.
The wait was short and it was good value. Our meal was delicious and fish was fresh. We also really enjoyed the rice pudding.

What a place to visit very clean with a overwhelming amount of seafood all very fresh and frozen products lots of staff to help also plus u a big range of seafood to have cooked the kids calamarie and chips is great value my daughter ate it all can beat a kid as a food critic if it's not good they don't eat it nice out door area kept very clean also
