Great coffee, bread and services. Local sprit is all around 😄

This place is like an enjoyable hug from your favourite hip aunt! I liked the energy as soon as I stepped inside, it’s what makes West End so unique & awesome! The staff are gorgeous, kind & caring, they definitely set the friendly tone & vibe. Everything followed beautifully once they spotted & greeted me on entry, the coffee was good & the food made with love & the freshest of ingredients, I swear you can always taste that point of difference when food is prepared this way. I can recommend the roasted mushrooms on sourdough. It fills up fairly quickly during peak times with their loyal regular customers, but don’t panic as they have a outdoor seating with umbrellas at the front, and a large outdoor seating area to the left of the main entrance. They provide a large drinking bucket under their service window for your thirsty fur balls too. Keep doing what you do so well Posto, I’m looking forward to making you my local squeeze.

Customers all come from neighborhood, I enjoy the feeling staff chat with customers like old friends. Food & coffee are nice, spinach pie super yummy!

I came across this place by chance on holiday and this coffee is probably the best bean juice I've ever poured into this mortal form. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is wonderful - shout out to the man with the immaculate green fingernails who is certainly some kind of caffeine wizard!

This is a really nice cafe. The beautiful people who work here are down to earth and happy. The coffee is better than in most other places in the suburb for sure. Parking was really easy as well; it’s free down the back. I will make this my favourite stop every time. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do. Cheers

Absolutely exceptional service and hands down the best cup I've had. 20/10 I highly recommend this establishment

Discovered this little cute cafe by the time that I visited the Gala Thai next door. Dropped in this morning and love the ample parking facility at the back of the building.
There is not a large sitting capacity inside but al fresco dining area is reasonably accommodated. Ordered a flat white and a croissant with cheese add ham. Coffee was very well presented, strong and smooth. Croissant was oven-pressed so lost the airy feeling but the ham-off-the-bone compensated the discrepancy. Overall, it was a decent experience.
Rating 3.5/5

I've been going here for years. Best avo halloumi stack in town! And very nicely pairs with Bacon & Eggs.

Friendly staff and fresh crisp tasty food made here. Eclectic menu. Top coffee. A small hole in the wall with tippy chairs outside. Great on a winter day. Excellent choice in West End up the Hill and quieter. Recommend.

Best BLT in Brisbane. The staff are warm, friendly, down to earth and accommodating and always ready for a bit of craic. The coffee is fabulous and matches up perfectly with the delicious home made cakes, biscuits and muffins baked daily by the chef, who makes the best BLTs in Brisbane!

Wonderful eggs with fresh herbs, home made mayonnaise, fabulous coffee and genuine friendly service.

Diana. Used to come here when I lived at Highgate Hill ( a few years ago now!) Coffee always was quite good, however returned recently to get a dud flat white-so bitter I couldn't manage to drink it. It was poured well & the staff are always exceptionally obliging so was rather disapointed. Hope it was just a bad day, but my partners coffee was also bitter

Only if all west end cafes could be anywhere near as good as this place...

Posto - West End, Brisbane. A very cute little cafe that is centralised in a business building, posto has the charms of a homely cafe and the zeal of a lot of alternative cafes combined. It does not have that feeling that they are trying to hard also with the lack of complacency for making it attractive to eat at for a meal.

This is another one of the places over the Vulture Street crossing on Boundary where it gets notably quieter and more suburban. It is well thought out in the layout. Unlike a lot of places, for orders that are on the run there is a little window at the back (for the barista's point of view) where you can wait to get it. This stops it from getting too crowded during the busiest times.

The lady that I got was really friendly and certainly alternative. She had character and even was keen in recommended what sweet to get - banana bread. I had that with my usual, and the cappuccino was not too bad. I liked the flavour but it is weak in comparison to a lot of places around town. The other aspects of a good coffee were there, so if you do prefer your coffee not overtly strong it is certain a go to recommend.
However, the banana bread was fantastic. The serving was generous and it was infused with the butter and cooked on the sandwich maker. This sealed it in and kept it warm for quite some time afterwards.

There are a number of aspects going for this place; it is one where casual lunch meetings would be ideal. I heard good things about their breakfast items.

Lovely friendly service, great spot for breakfast. Try the Quackwrap for an effective hangover cure ;)

Best haloumi ever.. The haloumi special here is the tastiest breakfast in West End. Holy cow. Justine also makes a delicious coffee (though I haven't had a good one from the other staff there, so I usually keep walking if Justine's not working).

Yummiest scrambled eggs on toast EVER..! And the haloumi special was great too. Posto is a sweet little cafe, a bit up the hill from the main Boundary St strip, and definitely worth a visit. The lovely lady behind the coffee machine is not only friendly & chatty, she also kicks out some darn nice coffee too. And be sure to note the little vintage touches around the counter & window...

It’s cafes like this that make West End the eclectic niche suburb that it is. This little gem is the definition of a true local and is my go to Sunday morning haunt of choice. It embodies everything I could want from a cafe, it is unpretentious and all about the coffee. The proprietor Justine always has a warm greeting and time for a quick chat making you feel instantly at home. The food is simple but delicious; and last but by no means least, the coffee is superb.
