Great breakfast location, excellent wait staff! We're regulars here, and we've always gone back for the service. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the great service makes it a very nice breakfast. Their breakfast burger is fantastic!
On the down side, the kitchen staff seem to take issue with "requests and changes". The waitstaff always seem to note down what I'm after, but there seems to be a bit of attitude from the kitchen. On a few occasions, I've asked for alterations, and been told "they won't do that" (attitude from 'chefs' annoys me no end).
Lure is a great place!
The prices are reasonable, staff are very friendly, the coffee is outstanding and the home made philosophy is exactly what I expect from this kind of place.
So many cafes and restaurant use prepackaged ingredients which renders them generic to me. The vast majority of places are overpriced food platers... no cooking involved... not Lure!
The menu is full of house made delights which are consistently excellent! I have been many times and will go many more.

great new menu! terrific Genovese coffee which is the best beans - smooth and creamy. Really nice staff. Nice outdoor terrace to sit on though it is on Latrobe Tce.
Just had lunch at Lure today both a toddler and newborn. They were so child friendly and helpful. We will be back! Good service and great food. Thanks :)

The menu always seems to have changed it up a pinch to keep me trying something different each time we drop in.
