Stopped in for breakfast on a tight schedule.
The cook didn't get the memo and my eggs weren't how I like them. They were so lovely about it. I suggested they remove the eggs and refund them. They refunded my whole meal with a smile.
Great coffee.

OK food, weak coffee and staff not that friendly.
So, after an 11hr flight, wanted a quite place, some food and a good coffee to regain energy to board into another international flight. Ordered a BLT, was ok, they at least grill it which is nice. Coffee was pretty weak for a flat white, regular size is enormous and way too milky. But the worse part was the attitude and zero empathy from one of the members of staff behind the counter. Realised I had forgotten my passport in the nearest bathroom (not even 50m away) after already being seated and getting my food. Bothered telling them I was running to get it and they were zero empathic and gave me attitude about leaving my 2 cabin size bags so I could run to retrieve my passport.
For a solo traveller that obviously has the tired face from a long night flight and a bit of a language barrier, they were not kind at all. I’ve worked in customer service before, both in airports and restaurants and I found their attitude before and upon returning from the bathroom (took me 1min) pretty unfriendly and aggressive - they mentioned they have to call the police in those instances, all quite unnecessary and with very little human spirit and kindness. I can potentially understand security reasons but I’m sure they saw the tiredness and panic from thinking I lost my passport in my face. All in all, for the price and considering their attitude, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Choose somewhere else in the terminal, specially if you’re in it for the coffee.

Terrible service. Staff seem more interested in themselves than the customers. I ordered 2 coffees, had a hand written number in my receipt. I sat diagonally opposite the serving area. Didn’t hear them call my number, so my drinks sat there for 4-5 mins getting cold. I approached the service area and interrupted the chatting staff to confirm whether this was my order. If they can see the drinks are sitting there, why not shout out the number again. Really poor service. Don’t bother.

Went here to have breakfast before an international flight iced black coffee and the tandoori chicken wrap is great. I can't give 5 out of 5 but cause they got my coffee wrong and I had to ask them to redo it cause it had milk must of been miscommunication between staff??
And staff don't seem so friendly and welcoming must of been too early in the day. This was around 7 am something after all.

Staff are brusque to say the least. Cutlery was not held by the handle as it was passed to me. No sign saying kitchen was closed. Chicken and leek pie looked and smelled like dog food AFTER it’s been chewed and put in pastry. Didn’t believe it was a chicken and leak pie and gave back. No offer of refund..... although none expected. Only 2nd time in my life I have returned food and walked away. Nearly $20 for the pleasure.

Great Space, fresh heathy, tasty options. Two different types of coffe beans for option, strong or smooth. Delicious coffee (I had a “strong blend” mug of long black).
Great airport staff option. $10 for anything in the glass cabinet with a drink.
Good serving size. Thank you !!

I would like to pass on the wonderful experience I had at your cafe, the best customer service I have received in some time, the blonde hair lady was great, banter, rapor, just amazing, made it such a joy to start a very long flight. Please pass on my thanks, and I will pass on to colleagues who fly, that it is a must to go to Botanist. Cheers.

Farewell to someone in the airport early in the morning, may as well to have a quick brekkie here. Love this Cafe’s location because it is handy to enjoy the brekkie and still have the last chance to wave my hand to my friend at the departure level. Service is very friendly. Food and beverage are surprisingly good in an airport. The Wolff brew is my favourite and the Chocolate croissant is the first time for me. It is definitely good for foodies’ with sweet tooth. It’s soft texture deserves thumb-up. Cheers!

Morning tea at the airport! My standard mocha (with extra chocolate) and a crossiant.

The coffee was really nice, this cafe uses Merlo coffee beans. The other half loves Merlo coffee beans because they are strong - me? Not so much. Half strength is perfect for me. I still got the taste of the coffee without feeling like I'm drinking hot tar. Smooth to drink, perfect amount of crema. The crossiant was pretty standard - nothing too flash.

My issue was the price - I know that the eateries at the airport are expensive but I'm still going to put it out there. $6.90 for a crossiant? I was going to get a quiche but didn't fancy paying $12.90 for it. The price of the quiche on its own and the quiche with a side of salad is the same - not sure why.

All in all, yummy coffee and a decent crossiant.

Really good coffee here which is an exception at the airport as a general rule. The sweets especially the muffins are also a bonus. Service was attentive & friendly

Lovely coffee which was served more like a suburban cafe than an airport eatery. This is much better than the places that used to be at the airport and a refreshing change.

The Botanist is a beautifully furnished restaurant and bar. From Flat White to White Chocolate Mocha, the specialist Merlo blended Coffee is a genuine highlight, richer than the award winning Coffee Club yet not overbearing such as Stella Rossa.
Yummy cakes and pastries - including Apple Danish and Raspberry and White Chocolate Sweet Muffins - are a must for any sweet tooth adventurers, while for something different, Tea lovers should check out the G.L.E.W tea (try with a dash of vanilla syrup for some extra magic).
Elsewhere in The Botanist range, theres a whole plethora of hot and cold food choices (including Veggie and Gluten free options), while delicious breads packed with generous, gourmet fillings are ideal for those on the move who don't want a run of the mill sandwich. A big brekkie range (including Avocado and Feta Smash and the ingeniously titled Big Break-Feast) caters for the fussiest of tastes, alongside trademark favourites from Chef's Pie of the Day to Fish and Chips. To wash it down with, there's classic Aussie Pale Ales (such as the adorably titled Lazy Zak, for instance) or, failing that, a Jameson's or Johnny Walker to kill time waiting for the jet...
Best of all, if you want fresh, local Queensland produce, look no further. If you are seeking quality food and drink, The Botanist pushes all the right buttons.
