Great location and coffee sensational. Sitting under the chilled outdoor space is the highlight. Staff could have been a bit more friendly. You felt like an intruder at the counter.
The coffee here is delicious and you can choose to either sit under a glorious tree outside or move inside to a gallery style art space. There is a cute paper shop next door too which adds to the aesthetic.
I'm not sure how there are any negative reviews on the coffee here. As an extremely fussy barista, I find it hard to find good coffee reguarly. These guys blend is awesome, shots poured to perfection and they even pulled a Rosetta from my soy milk, which I usually never get from bubbly hard to work with soy milk. Service was warm and friendly, the setting was beautiful and the food is healthy and delicious. Could not complain at all
My fav café in Brisbane! Big call I know, however I'm standing by it. Coffee's amazing, service is welcoming, location is cozy yet spacious for our large fitness groups, there's a good variety of food options and is super tasty and to top it all off they sell coconut milk : ) what more could you ask for!
Puk is a cute little cafe that does nice breakfasts however due to its size can get pretty busy of a Saturday morning. There isn't much seating especially when a group of cyclists are there. The breakfast was really nice but not a huge range on the menu.
Never see a cafe integrating two different themes so nice and contrast for dining areas indoor and outdoor. Like this cafe because it provides me the feeling of peaceful, friendly and relaxing while I am enjoying my breakfast there. Staffs are so friendly and keen to answer my questions of why they set up lei that. Strongly recommend foodies put its name on your list.
I have been to Puk espresso café for coffee and a sweet. The coffee here is really lovely! I unfortunately decided to have a miss bliss ball for the sweet treat - these are terrible! The staff could be a little more friendly.
Great atmosphere, terrific coffee and the best avocado on toast with a tomato chutney - SO good!
GREAT PLACE WITH EXCEPTIONAL COFFEE. PUK Espresso is an excellent coffee shop located in Kangaroo Point. It's a great place to relax and get a decent coffee with great service! I'm a local in the area and always feel welcome when I visit this cafe by the owners and staff. It is in a great location and serves delicious coffee and healthy meals that leave you feeling refreshed and full of energy. I would definitely recommend visiting this little coffee shop and trying their fresh bottled moonshine cold press coffee.
Great coffee shop. Wow, I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for Puk. In my experience, I haven't had the staff be rude, arrogant or disrespectful toward me. Quite the opposite, I found the service to be great, the lady who took our orders was nice and friendly to us! I had coffee and breakfast here with a girlfriend on Saturday morning and we loved it. The coffee was fantastic, strong and creamy but not bitter or burnt (good soy milk too!). The food was yummy, fresh and well-priced in my opinion. I will definitely be going back with my friends and, if you're being turned off by the negative reviews on urbanspoon, I would encourage you to go and try it for yourself too :) cos you could be like me and have a great experience. You never know until you go.
PUK'n Great Location, Coffee, Tucker & Service!. PUK Espresso is by far my favourite coffee shop. They top their rivals on location, produce and service. Located in the Kangaroo Point precinct and shaded by a beautiful big fig tree, PUK offers a prime position to sit back, relax and take in the beautiful surrounds of Brisbane's inner city. PUK serves Moonshine coffee, a hand-crafted blend from Byron Bay that I find flavoursome and easy on the palate. I also cannot go past PUK's cold press. It is a wickedly smooth brew, and most definitely my favourite. If you're after a bite to eat my recommendations are the breakfast bagel and avocado on sour dough, with tomato chutney and lemon. Both are simply divine. The PUK team consistently deliver honest, refreshing and down-to-earth service. I visit PUK daily for my caffeine fix and always walk away feeling that it was money well spent.
Puk is the perfect local go to in
Kangaroo Point. I have been searching for years for my local where you can walk in and they know your name and your coffee and you know it will never disappoint. Their moonshine coffee blend is packed with richness & they take such pride in the quality of their brew. I can not wait for the development of their kitchen to complete what is already a perfectly simple breakfast & lunch experience. Love their Bircher & generously portioned avocado on toast with housemate relish. Love love love.
We called into Puk Espresso for the first time today. The coffee was nice and strong. The avocado & chutney on sourdough was lovely and well seasoned. The service was reasonably quick, despite being busy.
The best kept secret under the story bridge. Coffee and food has always been fantastic and very decently priced and service top notch. Cannot recommend this place enough
Raymond. I have to say this was a good coffee & that I will be back hopefully soon. Love that great big fig too!!
Puk Espresso is a quaint coffee shop in Kangaroo Point and the scene of our first ever re-review. So what’s new at Puk? The coffee? Well sort of … Don’t fret, the amazing blend still exists, it’s just undergone a cosmetic facelift. The brand of the signature blend has shifted from terrestrial to celestial – Green Cauldron has morphed to Moonshine.
Puk Coffee is located underneath the Storey Bridge at Kangaroo Point, so you’d expect it to be noisy, but you can’t hear the traffic at all...
Brad (the owner) and his team are awesome! I love the coffee.. literally drive here on my lunch break to get the flat white double shot... Everyone at my workplace loves the coffee. Super rich and bold flavours plus a beautiful setting to unwind... or even appreciate some cool artwork. My boss is obsesses with the pulled pork burger!
Great chilled spot just off the KP loop. Despite being so close to the bridge, it's really quiet and tranquil with good food and teas (i'm sure the coffee as well!).
Always plenty of parks near by or 2 minutes from the free City Hopper.
There's a quiet coffee shop on Main Street that needs a visit. Nice outside settings, a jumble of old garden furniture and wooden topped milk crates set the scene. Seemed to be very popular with the mid-morning regulars - people walking dogs and mothers dropping in for a catchup with friends and kids utilising the well equipped fun pen. The "Dirty Chai" was different but very good.
In the few days I stayed in Brisbane this was hands-down the best coffee I had.
Service was quick and friendly. Coffee was reasonably priced.
Great coffee, nice to sit outside with your dogs. Good place to meet after a run or ride around the city
