Big menu with lots of vegetarian options and great that rice is included in the price. We come here regularly
Good food. Butter chicken and naan are the best ! Service is prompt and staff is friendly. The buffet deals are really worth a try. Overall they serve the most authentic Indian food in Brisbane
The best authentic Indian cuisine you can get in brisbane with affordable prices. This place has a great ambience with lovely music and the staff are very greet full. The best part is the buffet system and it covers most of the indian starters and main course with delicious currys and naans. Must visit place this weekend
Short 'n' spicy, this one - Spice Of India has a good frequent flow of customers each time you visit, and for good reason.
The customer service is friendly, polite and thoroughly thorough (all numbered, all labelled, all receipts - and plenty of help offered when requested.)
To the good, and the Chicken Madras - with a choice of 'how spicy' - is excellent value, with so much 'chook' you almost have to pinch yourself.
Let's not lie - it was flavoursome, saucy and the rice was delish, as was the cheese and onion Bamba bread. However, it wasn't 'in a league of its own', although certainly one of the better curries I have experienced here in Brissie.
Value and choice wise, outstanding. Would I return? For sure...
Some of the best Indian food i've had in a while around this area. It is hard to find a place with quality food but the dishes i've had taste lovely and authentic. Finally, an Indian restaurant that will actually make their dishes 'hot' when asked! :) Cheesy garlic naan is always tasty. They also have some great deals on every night of the week.
Staff are lovely, Punjabi's are usually very nice people and they make the best food! The African girl that works there *forget her name!) is always smiling, happy and friendly. Shukriya, spice of India! :)
Friendly staff, delicious food, prompt service at a reasonable price. Highly recommended restaurant!
Simple takeaway. Not too bad for a first try of indian food. Nice butter chicken!!
Fabulous service, a vast menu of delicious food that caters particularly well for vegetarians. Wednesdays & thursdays have a buffet - all you can eat for under 20 dollars per person. We will absolutely go back again.
The garlic naan is to die for!. I ordered the special tandoori platter (Combination of 2 Chicken Tikkas, 2 Chicken Drumsticks, 2 Sheek Kababs and 2 Tandoori Wings, 2 Tandoori Prawns and 1 Garlic Naan with large Mint Sauce) with a mango lassi to takeaway via deliveryhero.com.au. I think it's fantastic that they've signed up for that online ordering system and more restaurants should do it. The food came within the estimated timeframe packed into an esky to stay warm and the delivery driver was really lovely and the food was presented well even though it was takeaway. The garlic naan is the perfect texture and consistency, one of the best naans I've had. I'll definitely be keen to come and try dining in sometime.
Great value. I went with my partner for all you can eat on thurs. Sometimes all you can eat compromises on quality, but not here! There were 6 entrees and 4 curries to choose from, highlights for myself being butter chicken and onion bhaji. I usually order the butter chicken when I eat out for indian and this was one of the best. Unlimited naan, which I might add was constantly being replenished so was always fresh and hot. The buffet was well looked after, always tidy and a high turnover of food. Many sauces to accompany each dish were available as well, no dessert apart from fruit but this does not detract from the experience as we were too full from the rest to care! For only $16.95 it's cheaper than most banquets and has the advantage of being able to sample multiple curries and there is no need to ration naan.
Fantastic food! Delivery was exactly on time and we even got a free coconut rice! Recommend you order the curries "hot" for perfect level of heat and spice.
Worth it. Not a frequent diner for Indian. But food here is nice. had it as takeaway. Food came out in reasonable time and taste decent, definitely worth thee price. People love the naan bread and some of the milder curries. They're good, but not the best I have tasted
Best value for money. Surely this is "the best" value for money restaurant in Brisbane. I am Indian and I cook so you can imagine how much fussy I can be when I am eating out Indian food. Let me stress it is best value for money. It is not the best if I compare it to some of the indian restaurants in Sydney or Melbourne but not bad given the fact that there is hardly any choice left in Brisbane. I mostly do take aways and only vegetarian so don't know how is th non vegetarian food.
