Well this place is known for their briyani and believe me they serve very good briyani in CBD. I'm specially fan of their goat briyani, as it always be cooked well with balanced spices and flavours. Small place in the heart of fortitude valley, mostly known for take aways . Other than briyanis, their chicken starters like chicken 65 and chicken chilli is quite good and also reasonably priced. Actually with that price you'll not find anything better than this. Special mention to courtesious staff who always receives you with smile. Good job friends
Would have loved to award this Indian fare a 4 but the curry I wanted was unavailable & the eggplant one was almost gone so I had the dregs so to speak. On saying that for food out of a hot box it wasn't bad. The eggplant would have been a winner if there had been more eggplant & not just gravy. Also had the dahl which was well spiced & tasty but could have had a lot more chilli for me. Actually they bought out some fresh green chillies for me but they were quite mild.

Surprisingly flavourful and delicious curries at great prices!
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much when I stopped at Balti, but I was peckish and couldn’t pass up two meat curries with rice for $7.90.
I ordered the Chicken Saag (Medium) and asked the staff to make a recommendation between the Chicken Tikka Masala (Medium) and the Butter Chicken (Mild). They recommended the Butter Chicken, so that settled it.
I tried the Chicken Saag first and was pleasantly surprised by the flavour, which included a nice spicy kick. I then moved on to the Butter Chicken, which was rich and creamy - only slightly sweet.
I went in expecting a less commercialised version of Miss India, but this far surpassed the quality and flavours you’d find at Miss India...and you can’t beat the price!

I have eaten at Balti more than 40 times and every meal has been excellent. I really like the Chicken Tikka and my kids love the crunchy chicken 65. They are always fast and the prices are cheaper

Balti yummyyyyy. You shouid try their snacks well goes with biryani especially chicken 65 and chilli chicken. i love them. i will have them every weekend. the main thing is they cook fresh and serves fresh food all the time. i have been eating their food past one year never had any problem. with price they are cheap and more serving of food one serve will be enough for two. yummy food

Best Indian Biriyani. I love the biriyani in the place. Authentic Hyderabadi Dum Chicken Biriyani. Once you have it, you will fall in love. They do have curries and other dishes as well. But definitely Biriyani is the big hit! And also the srving quantity for biriyani will fill u up so bad..haha.. i cudnt stand up after eating it...

The best cuisine at a reasonable price. You must be lucky if you receive mango lassi. Mango lassi is a must-try; it is amazing. Indians do you miss biryani just come over 65 Biryani is ultimate. It’s very neat and tidy as well.

Balti biryani is something that I drive 1hr both sides to get it as uber and Menulog dont service at my place. This place serves consistency for chicken biryani, nice moist chicken piece with freshly prepared biryani... I have always enjoyed this yummy biryani once a week or once two weeks the taste is always consistent.welldone guys keep up the good work.
