Have not been back here nearly four year so re-visited for a good Banh mi. On the first step in of the bakery shop, my gaze was attracted by those French pastries sitting in the display cabinet more than the Banh Mi so I changed my mind to have a ham & cheese croissant. This decision is proved to be right on my first bite on the pastry. The pastry chef here really did a good job.
Well, I must come back soon for the meat pies because they look great as well.

Very unexpected but great place for sandwiches. Noted there’s constantly ppl dropping by for takeaways. We had the delicious viet sandwich - pork and chicken banh mi. Once of the best in Brisbane. Wish they do more variety.
Hands down the best caramel slice in Brisbane. Sweet and coconut-ty. And it’s only $3. Their pastries are great too. Will go back to try their Bahn mi
Another bakery and more banh mi, this time another local bakery. Your typical bakery with all the sides and of course addition of banh mi.
The staff are friendly and greet you when you enter, a small shop front. I order the banh mi with chilli and a sausage roll for later, asked if wanted toasted or fresh and went lightly toasted.
There was plenty of pork, and fillings were decent. The only thing I couldn't see or taste was the butter. After biting into the fresh toasted bread it was crunchy and soft on the inside, bread was great. Different style more like a french sticker rather than the typical flat crusty roll. But didn't mind at all.
A little more soy sauce and chilli would have hit the spot. On side note the sausage roll was ok, a little different with carrot and diced onion.
Was a good lunch.
I've been lucky enough to taste many, many Viet bread rolls... or banh mi and the many variations. I've been all over Adelaide, Brisbane and even Vietnam eating these wonderful things. How do these compare? Well, if you're not up for a trip to the lively Inala outdoor shopping area, these are not bad for the inner south of Brisbane. These aren't going to blow your socks off, but they're definitely above average (in a city where that's rare). Typically Banh Mi has very crumbly bread, but these are softer. The vegies are pickled though, it has the pate and the proper mayo and fresh coriander/ chilli.
Local tip: Some time ago they started doing 'pork ball' rolls, which they frequently run out of throughout the day (while they're cooking more). If you're at the register, just to the right hiding at the back of the bottom shelf you'll see a tray of red, fish sauce infused BBQ pork balls. If you see them... then you're in luck! Order those!
I'm sure it's a great bakery too, but really I'm just about the bread rolls :-)
Great Vietnamese pork rolls, lovely pain au chocolates and very inexpensive! Just a little take away spot not a cafe atmosphere really. Highly recommend.
This place is a guilty pleasure for a super buttery croissant. It's crispy and moist. My hubby loves the chocolate ones for the 2 strips of chocolatey goodness inside. Super yum best in the western suburbs. I bypass a very popular Graceville bakery to come here for their pastry.
Best bakery in Yeronga! Great (real) baguettes, fantastic sweets and a yummy Vietnamese pork roll for lunch. Lovely folks, too - I can't believe how lucky we are with Miettes, Cafe Beesting and now this place in one corner of Brisbane!
Delicious Bahn Mi, but even the sandwiches are full of tasty goodness. Everything is so reasonably priced.
Such a wonderful little gem! Would highly recommend this place. Always greeted with a smile, wonderful customer service. The chicken salad rolls are always on point. Affordable bakery prices. Fresh bread, pies and sweet items.
Our family loves their baguette and pies. They are absolutely beautiful and we buy almost every week. People are very nice too.
Such fresh and delicious baked goods! The Vietnamese pork rolls are the best! Along with a large range of other fresh made sandwiches, using the best freshly baked bread and fresh ingredients! Yummy and I never go to Subway for soggy sandwiches ever again! The large range of pastries is to die for and all so good! Pies and quiches great too. True French pastries. Always friendly service and clean and professional. I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here some days! Absolutely delicious. You must try it! 😋🍞🥐🥖🥪🥧😍
Kim and Phil always greet you by name.
The best Vietnamese pork rolls!
Varieties of chicken, ham and egg and lettuce rolls. Pies, sausage rolls, quiche Lorraines are delicious. Very friendly service by all the staff.
Love the banh mi, yeast-free sourdough loaf and danishes. Super lovely and hardworking staff. They could charge twice the price and it would still be great value
Lovely people, best products, support this local business. They are always so happy and smiling and kind. I go back because of the customer service. Keep it up 🙂
You'd never pick it by its location or appearance but this is a fantastic little French/Vietnamese style bakery; great baguettes and batards, croissants and petites pains au chocolat. The banh mi are top-notch too.
