Great find. Our dinner plans fell through and we had to find somewhere to eat quickly before a show. We ended up in this unassuming place, thinking it would be a quick feed if not top quality. Well, we were wrong about the quality. Some of the best sushi I've had in Brisbane. Fantastic hand rolls and not expensive, I'll be back for sure.
Wow!. What an awesome find! Very friendly service, super fresh sushi. Don't bother with the hot food just go straight tot the sushi that in the evening is made before ur eyes. I return every time I'm in brissie!

My partner and I love this place! It is a lunch staple, we probably go a few times a month. They know us here now and know our favorites and provide fantastic service! The sushi is made fresh to order and the quality is great! Highly recommended.
We went here as a family in the evening and it was just lovely. The sushi train wasn't working as there weren't enough patrons, so the proprietor made everything to order. The proprietor is a very friendly woman who made all of our food quickly. The tempura were light and not too greasy and the sushi were all very tasty. The proprietor even cut our sushi into 5 for us and for our children who aren't yet into chilli, she omitted it on their sushi pieces!
All in all, we had a really great time! Sushi on the Run reminded us of those small, family run establishments you can find in Japan where the owners care for their customers. We will be returning soon and with some friends!
Great quality Sushi, and excellent variety. We're here usually once a week, and they have consistently good food, well priced, and there's always a great selection on the train. Be careful if you're coming at lunch, it can get really busy around midday - though there's usually seating away from the train if you don't mind ordering off the menu.
Food is freshly made to order. Sashimi was the best I had outside of Japan. Takoyaki was piping hot as expected. I capped my meal with fried ice cream. Service is superb - you get to experience Japanese hospitality.
Staff are very friendly and most of the dishes are tasty. I have had a couple miscommunications on orders due to language barriers but mostly not an issue. They would probably bring some more people in if they changed the menu a bit and ran the aircon in the summer more. It gets a bit stuffy in there sometimes.
Best sushi and sashimi in Brisbane this has been my local for over 8years. Nancy is best chef around remembers my custom order without fail.
