It was couple months ago when I was forced to have take away orders for lunch under the restriction of COVID-19.
I ordered some frozen dumplings to cook at home and had additional cold dishes of cucumber with pig head meat and chitterlings.
Taste and production remains consistent but I start to realize the inflation because what I paid was slightly pricy for the lunch😥

This restaurant has the best shallot pancake, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I highly recommend their vegetarian dumpling soup, it was delicious! The pumpkin congee was recommended to me and it was delightful, I will definitely be ordering it again.
Guys! You will not be disappointed with their food at all! We ordered the lamb dumplings with the hot and sour broth - the dumplings were flavoursome and you got a decent amount of the meat. Also, if you love spicy this broth is amazing with the dumplings! We also ordered the pork belly noodle soup, which was beautiful, there are some bones in there, the noodles, handmade and quite 'heavy' so to speak and if there was a little bit of spice then the broth would have been amazing. All in all, we would definitely come back here again just to taste the other food on their menu! 🤗
If you're looking for cheap dumplings then this is the place to be! It's not often you get quantity and quality in a meal but Golden Dumpling delivers on this! We had the Chinese Pork Burger which was absolutely delicious and a variety of dumplings. It only costs about $12 for 15 pieces! They have also renovated the place since we've been there last and it has a much better atmosphere. Would recommend!
One of the best things about hanging out with FoodieAdam, my local instagram celebrity is the fact that I am privileged enough to partake in his occasional food crawls. A recent one that I got on was a dumpling crawl. Having gone to most of the places on his hit list, I was keen to try Golden Dumpling, the only one on the list I hadn't tried. Heading there after work on Friday, it was a wonderful way to start off the weekend.
Always on the list to try this place out, finally we are here for dumplings.
And we ordered the pan-fried pork buns, 5 for 5.80, such a bargain, and is totally love it, so juicy and steamy hot. Also tried some steam dumplings, recommend the pork and cabbage one =)BYO! Totally should order first and walk across to grab the alcohol.
It was a cold rainy day so I ducked in here to eat some beef noodle soup - but I should've chosen dumplings because they really look amazing here. Will need to come back again soon!

Fresh dumplings, nice cheap side dishes - love garlic cucumber and the potato salad has Sichuan pepper in it omg 👌 this place is the real deal 🙌

I had a craving for dumplings and pork buns today so at 12.30pm we drove into the Sunny Park. A quick walk and we were in Golden Dumpling. The waitress was keen to take our lunch order so I obliged ordering 2 mains and a few appetisers.
Our food started coming out after 10 minutes. The Shallot Pancake ($3.80) and Hat Style Pancake ($3.80) were good, not great. The Pan Fried Pork Buns ($5.80) looked great and would have been nicer with more minced Pork. These dishes are actually very cheap and great value.

The Century Egg & Diced Tofu ($5) is not much to look at but I found the delicate taste of Tofu and the Century Egg to be a perfect match. Again, great value for this appetiser.

The Chef’s Special Dumpling ($16.80) has a filling of pork, prawn and leek. Rather than ordering them steamed (16 pieces) we ask for fried dumplings (10 pieces). They arrive nicely presented and smell wonderful. The filling is fresh and these dumplings are sweet and tasty.

Good for satisfying dumpling cravings...but be wary if not fluent in mandarin... Had difficulty ordering and got wontons instead of dumplings. Something for all here; except, apparently prawns are vegetarian? Ambience is low - I liked the open kitchen and you could watch them as your dumplings are prepard, however; on a quiet night you can feel the chefs peering while you make your order...
All in all, was tasty and would go back.
Fast, good food but a very high eftpos minimum. Nonetheless, I had a positive experience eating here. Big portions for affordable costs. I will be coming back here I'd say. Thankyou for the meal!
This restaurant is a Brisvegas legend in the making. Specialising in northern Chinese cuisine style it offers a slightly different set of flavours to the Sunnybank spread. Imitating the street food stalls and working class traditional staples of handmade noodles, soups and dumplings this is a cheap and cheerful alternative providing wonderful value. It is not fine dining but the food is fresh, tasty and filling. BYO with no corkage and $67 for four people is embarrassingly inexpensive. Try the ribs (eaten with a plastic glove!), pork belly noodle soup, lamb dumplings etc A lot of winners on the menu here.
This place is great! A good variety of dumplings to offer at a great price! The food comes out pretty quick.
The staff are friendly and if you need a "doggy bag" they don't charge 50c for a container like most places around Sunnybank.
Highly recommended.
We came for my son's Birthday as he loves dumplings. They were awesome. Very delicious. Byo with no corkage. Definitely recommend. Sorry we ate everything before I could get any pics.
As Brisbane’s palate continues to become more worldly, more places that specialise in dumplings have been opening. Golden Dumpling, in Sunnybank’s Sunny Park, is one such dumpling-centric eatery. It is not exactly new, having been open for at least a few months now. We had walked past it numerous times on the way to other restaurants (like Southside Bistro just around the corner), telling ourselves “next time”. Well, eventually the time came.
It's not bad , tasty boiled dumplings and pan fried dumplings. I like their soup in the little cute pot too. I don't like their jellyfish salad as there is more cabbage in there rather than jellyfish. It would be good if they can have more choices for the dipping sauce such us Soy sauce paste . The current soy sauce they are using is quite salty. Their waitress are very friendly .

Outside the front of the restaurant is a large brown chest high ceramic pot. There was a heat source inside the pot and shelves containing lots of small pots of soup that were cooking.
Inside the restaurant, the kitchen is a big feature with a large window so you can see all the ladies making dumplings. The menu is largely dumpling based with a selection of cold side dishes and some noodles. We've been here a couple of times now and we've tried the spicy boiled peanuts (cold), lamb dumplings in hot and sour soup, a pork belly noodle soup (with handmade noodles), braised spare ribs, handmade noodles with red bean paste, chicken soup and red bean pancakes. The food is really delicious and some of the noodle dishes reminded us of food we had eaten in Beijing.
Our new go to dumpling place. We come here for the soups and the dumplings, everything else on the menu can get a bit meh. There are self service condiments on the side and the service is definitely above average for an Asian place.No bad dumplings so far and our fave is to get them served in the hot and sour broth. Salivating just thinking about them. Tick for value for money, they serve 15 (? too busy devouring and not counting) dumplings per plate which is more than you'll find at any other place around.
We are locals and frequent here often. Great service, value for money and the meals are always extremely tasty and fresh! Highly recommend the pickled pork dumplings.
Best dumpling experience I've had. Thought China town was where it's at obviously not. Terrific family run restaurant with delicious food. Thanks to grand mother in the kitchen pumping out the dumplings
Best homestyle dumplings I've had since living in China and that's a big call! Awesome value, 15 dumplings per plate or 12 Wontons. Ordered egg & chive and egg & tomato, shallot pancake and potato salad. With two cokes came to $32.40. Service was great. Attentive but not overbearing. Definitely found a new favourite!
Best dumpling place in Brisbane, bar none. The menu is mostly dumplings or dumpling related. There are a few other things on the menu that all taste good as well.
I really liked the food here..😊😊😍there isnt many dumpling places around. the dumplings tasted fresh and they have great sauces. highly recommended the shredded been curd and shallot pancakes probably my favourites. many vego and vegan friendly options. the staff here are all very friendly and pleasant to deal with. highly recommend

By far the best dumplings place in Brisbane, they also offer many other options on the menu, soups and entrees. They have very delicious Vegan dumplings (like all the dumplings) you can select which way to have them: in a soup, pan-fried, boiled or steamed. Fresh handmade on site!
😊😊 Being a vegetarian they have a lot of delicious options available from appetisers to mains.
And to top it off with a cherry, the staff as super friendly and helpful.
I really enjoy the homey vibe I get from this place.
