A great place! It is safe and fun for the families. However, the way from car park to the water way is 5 mins downhill, requires super strength or wheels to carry the kayak down. Suitable for swimming and standup board. Hope some shade and bbq can be add later, also pave the road down to the water.

Beautiful walk for kids for discovering little animals or for the fitness person trying to smash out 10 km around all dam . You can swim in dam or hire / bring own paddle boards and kayak s to paddle around dam. Water is cold and will out your giblets in your throat but still nice and refreshing.

This lake is a real gem for nature paddlers, swimmers, walkers and trail cycling. Looking forward to when recent flood damage to paths and parts of the lake are repaired to give greater access to its exquisite beauty
