1st I got charged an extra 1.10 for a picking when the menu is cheaper!
2nd this is the worst lack of presentation, worst amount of bacon and cheapest bacon available and worst won't of hollandaise sauce provided that in disgusted with considering I can get better for 8 dollars cheaper!
Last time I will go here.

Went for a coffee and cake at 10 am on a Wednesday. Restaurant is only a third full. Placed my order, then I'm asked which table number I'll be sitting at. Interesting question when you can't even see the table numbers! I just indicated one of the many empty tables out the back. "Sorry sir. None of those have been cleared. You'll have to wait." Plenty of staff were buzzing about looking busy. What an inefficient joint. The correct response is, "Take a seat and we'll clear your table immediately. " Anyway, I cancelled the order and went down the road and got better coffee and better service.

We visited for Breakfast and it was very enjoyable. Great staff!

Come across town to get breakfast, because website says it closes at 5PM, get there and get rudely told only doing takeaway coffee because we close in 3 minutes?? Update your website so you aren’t wasting everyone’s times!!! Do not recommend.

Lovely clean premise. Staff were lovely and greeted us with great smile. Coffee and shared toastie was a good snack. Just a small pick up, the chips were hot and the toastie may have been prepared before chips. But both lovely. Will go back.

There is a lady there that was working on Sunday morning and was quite rude to say the least. Very little interaction with customers and when she did speak, her tone was unfriendly like. Don’t want to point out who she was, but please remind your employees that even though it is quite busy, customer service is by all means the priority.
I also ordered the eggs benny and it was particularly bare and not appealing one bit (especially for its price tag). Please look into that dish to save others from getting disappointed.

Staff fail. We were sat at a table with dirty dishes ... During the 45 minutes we were there, staff literally saw the mess, ignored it. Then the faulty towers episode unravelled. 2 different staff brought us drinks we did not order. Staff seriously confused and doing bare minimum.

Great coffee and cake, but the MOULD in the roof cover was a worry.
I spoke to staff and they said they would fix it...

I could not believe that my first and last review of this cafe was back to 2015. The visit of La dolce Vita last week tempted me to give it a go.
Arrived 7:15am this morning and I was the third table of the day. Ordered a flat white and a slice of raisin toast. Unfortunately, the young lady could not understand my accent and made it the white toast (maybe the pronunciations of raisin and white are too close).
Having said that I appreciated her friendly attitude and accept her immediate apology.
Overall food and beverage is not bad but the business is the same as few years ago - quiet. Again, I don’t know how it can survive and this question was in my first review four and a half year ago😂
Rating:3.5/5
Previous rating: Aug 2015 3/5

Phuong Tran and I visit for Breakfast and we decide to share a Coffee Club Big Breakfast. While waiting for our meal, PT enjoys her Citrus & Strawberry Soda.

Our shared Breakfast is nicely presented on two plates and I personally thank the Chefs. Most Cafes would simply provide us with an extra plate to share our meal. Freshly prepared, I enjoy every item of this meal. Well done Guys!

I really enjoyed their salad!! I had late lunch in the coffee club and got to try their blat salad. It came fast. The salad was fresh. They were really generous in terms of portion. I felt enough already after having it (I usually have dessert after lunch). I loved the dressing. I am not sure what it is but It was tasty. I had to admit that their coffee was not as satisfying as the salad. However, since I am satisfied with the meal, I will give them 4 stars.

I met up with friends here & I had already had a decent coffee so needed a sweet hit. I love their orange & almond cake always deliciously moist. So maybe on saying that & enjoying it immensely I was ready to have another go at coffee ( I have a coffee card membership with them so that is my gluton for punishment ticket) The coffee was again bitter & this time I ordered one & a half shots

Was here Saturday morning 10/12/16 .. got seated order coffee, got coffee, then forgotten about. Wanted to order breakfast but after waiting 30 minutes the group of people I was with left due to lack of service. Paid for our sloppy coffee's .. left. Due to this experience I won't ever he back here. It was not busy. Staff didn't seem happy. Was unfriendly and not a good experience.

Absolutely terrible experience, not sure if the chef knows what an omelet is meant to look like. But mine came out looking like some kind of scrambled eggs that were scrapped up off the floor. Really not sure how anybody could allow such garbage to be served from their kitchen. Disgustingly dissatisfied, will not be returning for food here anytime soon.

On 26th May went to coffee club to meet friends prior to attending a Theatre night at Southbank. Don's steak meal came with chips and salad when he ordered stead with vegetables.......they returned with a miserable looking plate with a few vegies and said start eating that to catch up with the others and that the potato mash would follow.....Don took one look at the meal and said take it away and we continued with our meals and drinks.....we were offered some free coffee vouchers and given a discount....although we are members of the coffee club VIP membership.......NOW WE FIND THAT IT IS CLOSING for a time.......sorry to hear as this was the only coffee place on Park Road with good food that is European style.....seating arrangements have changed and bring back some comfortable lounges for the front entry area......I know that it will eventually return to what we know as a good coffee club.....maybe the people running this one could go to SPRINGWOOD and see how that place is conducted.....LOVE IT.......we will return when coffee club opens again with people passionate about service and welcoming people.......SANDRA AND DON (Auchenflower residents).

s

Terrible experience - Had a group booking for 14 people. Our simple mains were delivered randomly over a 45min waiting period. As one of our plates were placed (while still waiting for others) we were then advised they would be closing in 25mins! The meals were over priced, small portions & very poor quality. I was served "steamed" packet vegetables, packet chips & a tough steak. It wasn't a busy night & the staff ovoided our table as much as possible! Very disappointed!!

Friendly staff, good food, fairly long wait times.. As far as Coffee Clubs go I feel like the one at Park Rd is up there. In total I've probably dined there between 20 and 30 times and I've never been disappointed by the food. The coffee can be hit or miss but I don't think I've ever been to a Coffee Club that actually did great coffee so no surprises there haha. The staff at Park Rd have always been pleasant, courteous and professional too (unlike some other Coffee Clubs I've been to).

Don't be in a hurry.... Newly refurbished, the Coffee Club at Milton certainly looks the part. However make sure you have time on your hands. My recent lunch visit saw a half empty restaurant, but I still had to wait 15 mins for a menu, 30 minutes for a drink and 50 minutes for a sandwich - unacceptable given the small amount of other customers. The food was reasonable except for one soggy patch on one piece of bread. Coffee was overground and tasted burnt, and it's not cheap so I certainly won't hurry back.

Wonderful evening at newly renovated coffee club in Park Road, Milton. We had a wonderful evening at the Coffee club last week. The food was fantastic, kids had a great time and service was impeccable. Will be returning. Thanks

New Shop, Great Look and Fabulous Food. The newly renovated Coffee Club at Park Rd, Milton is so much better than it used to be. The new shop looks just fabulous and the food was simply delicious. The calamari melted in my mouth. A must try it location!!

Staff performance. I read some bad reviews of this place, but they must either have changed staff, or changed their tune. I was there recently on a Friday night for a cappuccino. I could NOT believe the level of service I received. A young girl, maybe mid 20, guided me to my chair, offered a menu, with a big smile, very friendly, very helpful, got my coffee, asked me if all was alright, if I wanted a newspaper. Came back again again to ask if everything was OK, If I needed anything again. And again with great enthusiasm and great smile. This is service at top level. (And I only had 2 coffee's) I am used to Queensland services where you are expected to be grateful to be allowed on the premises.
I don't know the name of the girl, but she deserves a medal!

Does anyone here speak English? Very poor service and even worse coffee. The place really needs a clean up. I would recommend any other cafe on park road but the coffee club... Waste of money guys!
Also, the managers over-helpful and in-your-face attitude made me feel very uncomfortable.

I love the coffee here they always froth great and service is friendly. I'm not one of those coffee club haters I actually crave the food regularly but can I just point out two things, my last coffee was served by a lady (won't mention name) that was eating chips with her hands in plain sight of customers then touched my napkin, not so nice and last time I was craving a take away coffee at 9.30 and was denied saying the machine was off when it's advertised to be open till 10 I drove from Kenmore for the coffee :( but otherwise I still visit

Bit Depressing. Look im a fan of coffee clubs but this one isnt the best. Although the food is average it is slow to come out, the staff are a bit miserable and the atmosphere is depressing. So not the best.

Great patio to relax on. What a great place to sit and enjoy a dessert! Complete with great, friendly customer service, this is a place we’ll be sure to come back to!

In desperate need of a dessert one evening (5 Jan), my partner and I went into Coffee Club in Milton to check out their goodies. Greeted warmly by a friendly waitress, we felt quite welcomed!

With an ample selection of tasty looking desserts, I chose the Citrus Tart ($6.90) and my partner ordered a Mudcake slice ($6.90). It was another waitress who took our order and she said she’d bring it out to us right away.

In that it was a beautiful evening, we decided to sit outside, in some comfy chairs, even though there were regular tables and chairs to choose from. We were feeling quite comfortable and relaxed, enjoying the atmosphere when our desserts came out.

My citrus tart was a good size and picking it up, I found it heavier than expected. Taking a bite, the tart was very dense and luxurious in texture! The flavour wasn’t as tart or zesty as I normally prefer, but it was refreshingly light and tantalizing on the tongue. The pastry crust was soft and fresh and overall, it was enjoyable to the very end!

My partner’s mudcake was a bit more sugary sweet than chocolaty but still passably decent. One perhaps that may not be ordered again, but still a good choice for those who like to pamper their sweet-tooth!

The waitress we ordered from and who brought out our desserts, came by once again with a bottle of water, even though we had not asked for any. She was absolutely pleasant to talk to and we chatted with her for a bit which made us feel even more at home.

I would recommend this Coffee Club as the staff are friendly, efficient and attentive to their patrons. My partner and I felt complete relaxed and not rushed which is exactly what we needed to unwind. Great job guys!

Tetanus shot needed prior to dining. The staff are approachable and courteous, and the food quick and good. The venue though has been let run into the ground. Tables wobble, carpet needs cleaned, and with ineffective air conditioning the heat is unbearable. The beer is never cold, but thats ok because you go there to have coffee.

Good Food, Atmosphere not great. I went to the coffee club for brunch on Sunday. We were greeted at the door, sat down, there was 3 other tables only in the restaurant. Took the waitress at least 10 minutes to get the water we had asked for. Food was served, there was a minor mix up of who ordered chips or wedges - the waitress didnt apologise . We got a steak sandwich, club sandwich and a beef burger which were all equally as nice. Food was perfect but the service should have been a lot better especially considering how dead the restaurant was and the atmosphere was a little depressing I have to say. For a franchised company - I would have thought customer service would have been the main focus ?

Are you kidding? Ran by non English speaking people who scream and carry on. The coffee is mediocre, the service is average and the staff look like they would prefer to drown kittens than be there. The food is worse than WOOLWORTHS deli and the atmosphere is words than a hall cafeteria. Go next door. The place is disgusting.

Its good. I have warmed up to the Coffee Club again after having breakfast there this morning...the portions were great and the food was very nice too. Their prices are not so bad if you want decent food and they have good options to go with you meals too. The staff are very friendly.
