Metropole Bar & Eatery - Brisbane - Photo album

Have visited a few times in the last few years. Probably won’t bother again. I was surprised to be charged $11 for a small carbonara pasta dish takeaway. In previous visits I believe I paid around $7 or $8. It was tasty but for the price and portion I feel I won’t be returning. In the past it’s been
Most stinge portion of roast meat I've ever received from a carvery-type operation. paid $15 for "main with 1 side". Main was 1 single thin slice of lamb about the size of a drink coaster. To think buying "Protein Only" would have cost me $9.50... wont be going back in a hurry.

Over the past two weeks I've had two unacceptable meals here - one Sushi meal where my sushi order was wrong, and a fish and vegetable meal which was so overcooked that I was concern
Used to be a really solid and reasonably priced option for lunch when I was working in the area. I recently starting working in the actual building, but I won't be going back. In summary: I paid $14 dollars for a very average sized "large chips" - prices of other meals have also gone up since I fir
With so many eateries struggling from COVID-19 and lower patronage, options for a decent lunch in the city have drastically reduced. Metropole may have reduced their offerings but what they do have is decent food with friendly customer service and very good value for money.
