The giant inflatable crab just really drew me to check this place out! My husband and I really just wanted lobster and after coming from bribie (where we couldn't find any) lucky they had some! It was surprisingly really yummy and from WA. Haven't tried the fish and chips here but a bit nervous after reading the reviews.

I ordered fish and chips from this shop through UberEats yesterday. I made mistake confusing this shop and The Fishery at nearby Milton where we had nice fish and chips in the past. The quality of fish from Toowong Fish Market was fairly shocking. The fish was dry and the crumbs was damp, which was supposed to be the other way around. These people was also very indifferent towards their food. Why lemon was mixed with coleslaw, which ruin the taste. The crumb was also not properly done. We had better experience with Woolworths frozen fish fillets. My advice for others is to go The Fishery in nearby Milton instead.

We are regulars at this local seafood outlet. We drop in for 4 dozen Tasmanian Oysters for a relatives party. These Oysters are exceptional!

I think this is Brisbane’s best kept seafood secret! I was amazed at their beautiful fresh seafood, with everything you could imagine including sushi sized cuts. I think they must supply local restaurants. But the best surprise was the traditional fish’n’chips with the best burgers and chips I’ve had in years!!!

I am very disappointed. Expensive price for fish taste frozen, crumbs not crunchy and chips worse than supermarket.

I bought some Uni and oysters today, later just noticed its “use by 18/12/21”
It already out of date. It’s not so responsible for a fresh fish market selling off sea products to consumers.
Hope me and my friend won’t get sick

So I got some Tassie oysters. Got home and I had no taste. They weren’t bad just tasteless. So I took them back and the team there gave me a brand-new set of cotton basters. No questions asked, no extra money, great service and the second lot of oysters were beautiful. The photo is of the coffin bay oysters which were delicious.

One the the few best places in town. Fresh seafood taste like it just out of the sea. Super friendly and quick service. Much more options compare with other fish&chips out there. I'm a very detailed person, the shop is very clean, not many seafood shop can get that clean out there. This is a indefinite 5 Stars Business. Love to support my local business!

As good as the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a few. Good potato scallops as well. A sign of a good cook

I meant to visit this local gem for a while and eventually at arranged the time to have a Sunday lunch. When I first stepped in, the seafood in the display fridge gave me their smiling to us. The freshness and the variety of seafood here are no doubt the best in Brisbane. Needless to say, a mixed sashimi should be the a-must and of course oysters are definite in our list. Besides that, we ordered a mixed grill for one to share with the cold dishes. Let me tell you, no matter they are serving in cold or hot, the sweetness of these seafood is superb.
A full mark is deserved.
👍😋💪

They have a great range of fresh seafood, beautiful fish and chips, and a wide range of fresh sashimi. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. Plenty of onsite parking available.

If you love seafood, it’s worth the visit.
