Food was superb. Vegetables and seafood were undoubtedly fresh and plentiful. Generous portions for price. One of the best Thai places in Brisbane
More expensive than your average thai but the food is really good. Entrees of satay chicken and spring rolls were great and cashew chicken was really yummy with lots of vegetables. Will be our regular thai from now!
The food is perfect, all the time. Banana Leaf is a new Thai favorite for my family! A healthy, light option for all picky eaters, Banana Leaf is a stylish, modern restaurant with very polite staff and incredibly fast service. I recommend the massaman curry and chicken satay sticks.

Great Thai food! Very authentic and flavoursome dishes! Loved the Tom Yum (with prawns... of course), Pad Thai and Red Duck Curry! By far the best Thai in the area !!
Amazing Thai food in a great location! I come here all the time with family. Pad Thai and Red Duck Curry are super authentic! Highly recommend this place!
Reaching the destination via a roller coaster road with more ups and downs than a humped sea monster (in Camp Hill) if one didn't have an appetite, that was quickly going to change after a long drive and this baby.
First impressions are - in spite of the Excellent rating from Trip Advisor and a nice outdoor seating area - limited. The tables are full of clutter, the staff are preoccupied and there's no guarantee of a table - as 15 people are due to arrive!
This would explain the wait, and as our recommending friend gets the menus, one wonders what direction this Thai flavoured journey is heading in. Service is polite and extremely warm, and water? Chilled.
Starters are picked: curry puffs, satay chicken, Thai fish cake and Spring Rolls. The satay chicken falls off the stick and melts in your mouth, with or without the joyous peanut sauce. The curry puff delights with its fresh pastry and curry and potato filling, the Fish cake surprises with its peas and spiciness but the spring roll lacks veggies.
Nevertheless, the appetite is well and truly whet thanks to two world beating starters. The wait is really long due to the preoccupied party request and you have to feel sorry for the staff doing the rounds in spite of our hungry table. Our recommending friend has a word, and before you know it, hey presto, the tucker is here.
It looks amazing, smells amazing and literally is amazing. The dish stealing my heart tonight is the beef massaman, such tender slow cooked beef caressing your mouth with roasted peanut sauce, perfect potatoes and just a hint of spice, all complimented insanely by the light and beautifully sweet coconut rice.
Good value for money, too - at 108 dollars between 4 - for a decent plate of starters and 3 main courses - is jolly good value. Even the bill plate comes with many magnificently minty Minto's.
It's catapulted it's way to my joint favourite Thai and Asian restaurant and I'm certain it's going to blow your foodie socks off. It'd be bananas not to - do it!
