Always love to indulge in the fairy tale vibe here while I am enjoying my coffee.
Remember it was a couple months ago since my last visit. I have to wait for 10 minutes to get access inside because I arrived too early.
I had a change to order a lemon slice to go with my flat white because I could not resist the temptation from those lemon slices sitting in the display fridge. However, it seemed to be a wrong decision to have a sour cake in the early morning. Well, the bad experience is always the good thing to learn.
Why not?

Amazing Coffee Shop. If you want great coffee in an amazing corner of south Brisbane you have to go to Monte Lupe for a coffee, tea, or milkshake. While sipping on your favourite beverage you can take in the incredible and atypical art work. The art work ranges from plates and coffee cups to structures taller than people; made by the resident artists, some of whom are multicapped. So not only are you able to have an amazing coffee break you are also doing your little bit for an amazing charity. Although be careful as you will fall in love with the all the art work and want to buy the whole shop - I know where I will be going once I win the lottery.
Fresh food, English Breakfast Tea leaves served in cute teapot. All food made on site. Colourful cups, plates, saucers, teapots made on site Also for sale. I had Banana Pecan bread/slice warmed up with butter. Delicious. Sat outside in gardens filled with joyful sculptures. Hidden gem to visit. Covid restrictions apply.
This is my favourite cafe for a quick coffee. I live on the north side and I still choose to come here for coffee, usually takeaway, and sometimes they even have a vegan treat in the cabinet. The lemon cake is really nice. They're always quick, friendly and the coffee is always made to perfection!
Monte Lupo is a fantastic initiative that provides employment for people living with a disability. There is a Gallery that sells gorgeous pottery that is all handmade by the artists that are employed in the Eight Mile Plains gallery. As well as the coffee shop that makes yummy cakes and coffee. A must visit in Brisbane
Very good service, great food and coffee.
Gorgeous ceramics. Great coffee. Lovely atmosphere and staff.
A lovely place for coffee and snacks + grab a gift or two. The ceramic art is stunning. There is outdoor seating among beautiful decorated gardens. I absolutely love this place ! Very inspiring. The people who work here are also so friendly and welcoming. Learn more about the cafe and you will come to love it and support it too
I had coffee at this cafe for the first time this morning. I was extremely impressed with the pleasant and professional staff and service I received. While the menu is not extensive, the food that was served was outstanding. I can recommend the chocolate mocha cheesecake and the coffee was great. It catered for gluten free too. Very impressed!
