Big, two handed sized, deliciously greasy with that “drip down your arm and chin” feeling when you eat a real burger, nothing beats it. Top it off with those filthy fries and your cardiologist will need to clear his or her schedule for your urgent attention.
I’ve enjoyed all of their burgers as long as it’s got that amazing brisket and sauce cradled by the milk buns. I’ve only had one negative experience where the burger taste slightly interfered with the taste of salt but all the others had just the right balance of sodium to protein content.

BEST GETTA BURGER WE’VE HAD! Couldn’t fault our experience here, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the burgers were perfectly made. Nice dining area and great options (especially their weekly specials) Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Vegetarians, vegans and those who don't like gluttonous meat laden burgers drowning in delicious BBQ sauce should not come here.
I don't go to Getta Burger all too often, because I would die of a heart attack before I turned 40 if I ate here regularly. The burgers are very over-the-top, depending on which one you order you'll find the common thread is excessive amounts of meat, cheese and BBQ sauce (emphasis on excessive).
But if you know what you're getting, Getta Burger is a great place. The burgers are very generous for the size, although I am partial to the Filthy Fries which are essentially fries covered in meat and sauce (a burger without the buns). You're not going to get complex, artisan inspired food here. Think of Getta Burger like visiting your alcoholic uncles house and he decides to have a BBQ, so he starts pulling chunks of meat out of the freezer and cooking them. You tell him there is enough meat, but he doesn't listen to you and keeps pulling more meat out of the freezer. You don't want to be a rude guest, so you eat it.
Is Getta Burger in the top #5 best places in Brisbane to get a burger? Absolutely not. But, if you want an over-the-top meat laden burger, come here and you won't be disappointed.
Ensure you bring a big appetite because you will not walk out hungry. The meals are huge. Great range of burgers and you can't go past the loaded fries.
Yummy burgers but the serves are massive! The Getta burger has a well cooked patty with salads & sauce and it's definitely freshly cooked.
The fries are also huge (share them!) with a smoky salt & we chose garlic mayo to dip.
Not a healthy meal but great for a treat!!
Points for suburban locations, good size burgers, generous serve of fries. I had the Boss Burger largely because of the inclusion of jalapeños. Usually you would get a few scarce chilli slices to accommodate those who think they are tough with chilli... Not in this case. A layer of jalapeños was a surprising reward! Seating is very limited, we had to eat in car park. Not a great dine-in view sadly
Getta Burger is a meat lover's dream. The brisket burger was amazing but the real show stopper was the filthy fries - delicious pulled pork, house BBQ sauce, ranch, mustard and fries. Getta Burger has become a cheat day staple!
So glad they've opened a store on the northern side. Huge burgers and good value for money. Had the special 'Apple pie' milkshake, was incredible

Great food here, the burgers are extremely filling, this is coming from a huge eater too. Very generous serving of fries too, for 2-3 hungry people, the beef brisket fell apart perfectly as I ate the burger, good job guys! Was quite busy when I got there and the food was still no

I cannot get over how good this place is.
For months, have been hearing about Getta Burger. Decided to try it today and I was amazed.
Went there at around 2:30PM and the store was completely empty. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by the friendliest staff who were completely fine with us taking our time to decide on what to order. 2 x Getta Lot burgers.
At first, I was a little disgruntled at the price tag of $14 per burger. Upon receiving the burger and opening the packaging... WOW! I understand. So juicy and delicious.
Can't wait to go back and try those filthy fries I've heard about.
Always super busy when I've been, but wait times aren't unreasonable and food is always really great! More seating would be nice, but not sure how they'd work it.
Awesome. Great pulled pork burger and the fries! Very large size burgers, extremely filling. Make sure you phone order though. It gets busy at night.
The burgers were giant in size and packed full of flavour! The sauce was quite salty and when eaten with the dirty fries it became slightly over kill towards the end of the meal.
Having previously made the trip to the Carina store, I was understandably very excited when Getta Burger opened their Northside location at Bridgeman Downs. Both times I've been I've had the "Getta Pigout" and it didn't disappoint. It may not be pretty, but it's a brilliant and enormous burger. If you're going for lunch, I'd recommend skipping breakfast. There's no need to order fries on the side either because even if you finish the burger, you'll probably have enough fries that have fallen off to satisfy any hunger. The pulled pork is soft and tender, and the barbecue sauce is made in-house and has a beautiful smokey flavour. Even as a dressing on the burger, the fries aren't neglected and have a fantastic seasoning which gives them a little extra zest. I'll definitely be back again.
Delicious burgers with great flavour and love the homemade slaw and sauces! However we got both the pulled pork and beef brisket and they had way to much meat! It is normally the opposite, but my boyfriend and I both pulled over half our meat off as it would have made us sick! Perfect for a guy curing a hangover but too much to ever get through for a normal person. Such a waste.
Very happy. Ordered pulled pork burger with extra meat and it was a monster. A delicious monster. Lived upto the hype, will visit again soon
Popped my Getta Burger Cherry 🍒 today,
The burger I got was the Getta Filthy with the combo of small fries and can of drink under $20. There's the option to go BIG with the burger for an extra $3 to $4 I'll go big nextime.
The wait wasn't long and the food was pretty good nice flavours all the way through and what you see in their photos is what you actually get. There's outside bench seating to eat there but that's it, this shop looks to cater more to takeaway and delivery orders but that's understandable given our current climate.
It's a 15min drive for me to get there but hey it's worth the drive.
I'll be back there again to try other burgers.
Quality of the food has varied slightly for me. Most of the time it's good but occasionally I'll get hard fries or things are a little overcooked (mainly bacon). It's good food to order if you just want something heavy and filling.
Finally got to try out this place. Have always been meaning to go. But really good! . Massive burgers really tasty. Everyone was happy in our family.
I definitely will come back will need to try a few of the other burgers.

Tasty burgers. Yummy nuggets. I always order the lunch deal and have never been disappointed. Service can be a bit friendlier though. Young girl at the counter looks grumpy all the time.
Delicious fries, beautiful view from the benches they provide, besides not having a burger, they attended fast and friendly.
