After I finished the pie from the Ray’s bakery, I then craved for a nice cup of coffee. I was impressed by the café couple of years ago so gave it a go.
Walked in and there was only one table occupied. Ordered a flat white from the friendly barista. It did not take a long time to have my coffee on the table. Visual appraisal was decent. Merlo coffee aroma attacked my olfactory sense immediately. First sip reminded my last experience. Yes, standard is consistent and it proves my decision of choosing this café is absolutely correct. Located quite close to the Oxley station and slightly off the other competitors. This café gave me a warm feeling since I walked in and greeted by the barista. There are two young people running the show. I ordered my flat white and banana bread and took a seat at the indoor dining area. Merlo coffee was quite strong enough but smoothness could be improved. Although the banana bread was average, I still like this cafe judging from the relaxed and enjoyable facial expressions from the other diners in the café......
Went there for saturday lunch and coffee really enjoy our chicken wraps, te coffees taste excellent. Very friendly service and cosy cafe. Would definitely come back.
Oxley Cafe is under new management since 2018. The new Asian Owners are so welcoming I feel obliged to have a meal here. While perusing the Breakfast Menu, I receive a call and I must leave. I ask the Barista for a takeaway coffee instead. A good Merlo Coffee and I will return for Breakfast soon. Thank you guys!
This shop is very good, even their location was not good! i went to this shop in this morning, staff was very friendly. Food is good as well. But the shop looks old. I dont know other people's feeling, i will definitely go back having a meal. .....
We went on a weekday lunch for a quick brunch meal nearby and one of the few in the area was Coffee on Cook. The one staff we saw was very nice and cheerful which made the experience even better.
We both got the Eggs Benedict one with smoked salmon and the other with ham. We could barely finish it and the price was very reasonable. The smoked salmon and ham were flavourful and abundant. The only con of this dish was too much hollandaise sauce which took away from the other parts of the dish. We ordered the coffee and chai latte were brewed quite well too.
Stopped here for breakkie enroute to Allora. Serving Merlo coffee. Presentation of coffee was disappointing as there was no coffee art, fortunately the coffee was great. We ordered 2 vegetarian breakkie, 2 mushroom and halumi stack, and 1 smoked salmon and mushroom stack. We waited quite awhile for the food, and when the food were served, the types of eggs we opt for were all mixed up. We didn't want to make a fuss and swopped the eggs on our own. Overall the food were okay. Worth coming if you need a bite in this area.

Anyplace that makes a toastie with real ham is somewhere that is fine by me.
The decor is strange, you won't know if you have walked into a Asian takeaway store, the bay side diner (neighbours reference, hahaha) or a fish-n-chip shop. Why? Because they have comic sans laminated menus, not much atmosphere, drinks fridge with gatorades, as well as a very odd pokey menu.
But never the less they do have a coffee and toasties... good toasties.
Coffee on cook is our newly discovered favorite breakfast place. Coffee is great, food is well portioned and tastes amazing! Staff are very polite and not over the top in your face which is what we like :) also prices are fantastic, its a win win cafe
Lovely staff members. I had a mushroom and haloumi stack and it was exactly what i wanted! Super delicious. I also had a fresh juice. I left very satisfied with the meal. Awesome value for money too :) i will be returning soon.

Love it so much. It's my first time been here, my friends and me enjoyed the tasty breakfast here. It's really a good place to go for breakfast and lunch as it has everything that you would want to eat, We could fault the food as there were so many choices. Terrific coffee machine. Staff friendly and whole area kept immaculate. I will come back often.
Miles. Visited a couple of times, coffee is great. Chicken is fresh not like the coffee club using frozen one. Look forward to trying other meals next time.

Coffee on Cook is by far one of my favourite cafe's in the are with cheap quality meals and friendly staff :)

Coffee on Cook Club Sandwich (Veg). Pumpkin, pesto, capsicum, haloumi and avocado!
Go For The Coffee. The coffee in coffee on cook is always of high quality, whether it's a long black or an iced coffee.
Their breakfasts on the other hand are dependant on who is in the kitchen at the time. Sometimes the food is brilliant, avocado's are ripe, pancakes are cooked. Other times the poached eggs are solid in the middle, the berries are frozen, the ham is lukewarm and the haloumi is black.
Until the quality is the same on a day to day basis, it is recommended for coffee, not for breakfast.
Love the shop!!!!! The cake is amazing and so is the wedges.

Eggs benny classic. The decor could use a little sprucing but the coffees was good and eggs benedict were great. Spinach tasted fresh, the muffin was crunchy and the eggs perfectly cooked. I had been sticking to a pretty strict no-fun diet lately so, the vast ocean of hollondaise dumped over my plate was a luxurious treat for me. But next time, (and there will be a next time) i'll be asking for sauce on the side...or a spoon.

AMAZING!!!!. Fantastic service.. friendly staff... child and family friendly. Staff greeted my family at the entrance. Showed us to a table and told us to come order when ready....All meals came out hot and were exactly what was on the menu. Staff continually asking if everything was good with our meals. Felt homely was nice and cosy. Will be returning again as the service and food was above high quality.. Thankyou to all the amazing staff,for making our experience memorable :-)
Excellent place. The barista here is excellent and makes a mean coffee with no burnt flavours to it, and coming from an area that has 17 coffee shops and the coffee here blows them all out of the sky.
The eggs benedict is the best I have tasted. Its fantastic. This has now become our regular sunday morning breakfast place as I cannot fault the staff or the food. It all arrives quickly, and price wise, they are excellent. I love how the staff greet you when you walk in and say goodbye when you leave, and how they don't have a false forced persona with you, it is what it is, and that makes it perfect for me.

We come here occasionally and are always pleasantly surprised by great coffee, efficient and friendly service and very reasonable prices. Food-wise they do a pretty standard menu but that's fairly much what you want in your local cafe and it's done well. The fact that it's always chocker block on weekend mornings is testament that it's a great family brunch destination.

Been meaning to visit Coffee On Cook for awhile and finally got to visit for breakfast yesterday morning. I had an overall pleasent experiance, 7/10. The lady at the register made no attempt to converse or even nice but she wasn't rude, and the service staff did their Job well but again no real interaction but they weren't rude and that's just me I believe a successful cafe is one were I feel welcomed and have a ncie personal feel, makes me wanna come back. They use Merlo coffee which is nice and my Flat White was good, well balanced but not amazing and I ordered eggs benedict with added bacon and avocardo, it was good the bread was toasted nicely, but the eggs were slightly overdone and my yolk didn't run out when I cut into it, their was a lot of hollandaise and I love a good amount of sauce but I mean their was a lot, but would give the meal a solid 7/10. I will be definitely going back for a good coffee and a good, affordable eggs benedict.
Great Little Find. Went to Coffee on Cook for first time this morning (had been meaning to for ages). Didn't regret it. Great food, good prices and very friendly staff. They will also do your meal any way you like it so don't be afraid to ask for poached eggs instead of scrambled.

Just what we've been waiting for in Oxley!. Lovely little cafe in Oxley. Good service, delicious food and very reasonably priced. Not air-conditioned (has fans) so on the very hot days may not be the best place to escape the heat.
Exceptional service. Coffee is fantastic, and the price of the extras makes the menu infinitely better than any other breakfast place. (Fyi, extra bacon is only $2.50 and its all short cut). I recommend coffee on cook to everyone I know.
Delicious! Took the family for breakfast: eggs benidict, amazing & Coffee to die for. Elizabeth & Andrew have provided a wonderful space with very inviting food and coffee menu. Have already been back. 7y.o. Loves it too!
After i drop my partner off at the station i stop by for a coffee 3 or 4 times a week. The coffee is great and so is the food. Very good sized portions for the low price also.
Immaculate service and ncredible breakfast for such a small price. Will be back to try more of their extensive menu.

Awesome. I had the steak sandwich and it was awesome and my wife had the Vietnamese rice salad and loved it! Couldn't resist the cake cabinet and got some "takeaway" slices for afternoon tea. Relaxed atmosphere with good food!

I went to the Cafe with my friends for my birthday we had a high tea and it was unbelievable. The food, tea, service and atmosphere was first class I would recommend this yo anyone who enjoys high tea. I absolutely loved it.

It’s easy to see why this place is so popular among the locals. A special diamond in the heart of Oxley inviting to all. Just a stone throw away from the train station and the doors opened to a diverse range of cultures, with an instantaneous feeling of home. Food is well presented, tastes delicious and delightfully well priced. The cafe is family owned and operated providing friendly and welcoming service.
The overall appearance of the cafe is not over engineered in design. Simple and homely layout providing a feel good factor of comfort.
Would we visit again? Absolutely yes !

Fantastic coffee with tasty foods, fast & friendly service. I love the vibes here, soft music and the pink comfortable seats. I like that you have some options for vegan & paleo, GF, DF food. My favorite is the green crepe (Vegan) and I can add topping like chicken, pork belly, etc 😋 - its super soft & tasty crepe with crispy kale, mushrooms & homemade mayo... So good that I could eat this every day! Thank you for creating such a lovely cafe in our community. You guys are awesome!! 👍🏽
Hubby and i went fir breakfast. It is a quaint little cafe with its pink theme. Staff were very friendly and the food was good. A little bit greasy but it was good. Will definately go back.
