Ordered a small mocha ($4) and smashed avo ($11.95). The smashed avo was very good, especially for the price. The chilli jam and lemon gave it the perfect kick so that it wasn’t too bland.
The mocha was alright, but honestly, I have no idea what mocha is meant to taste like, considering the only other one I’ve had was from a coffee machine and very watery. I only ordered it because they didn’t have non-powder chai latte, which I was pretty disappointed about.
Absolutely delicious eggs benni would recommond 11/10. Also cannot wait to eat our vegan lentil Dahl that we got for dinnnerr, it smells amazing!! Fantastic :)
I has breakfast here last wednesday. I had the pancake stack and it was to die for, it was so light and fluffy. Its a great place to pick up some take away meals and some boutique products. Love this place
Drive pass this café a couple time when I explored the Indooroopilly area and it was the first time for my visit this morning. Being part of the market selling gourmet food, this café really does well in the local area. Very friendly service and many varieties of food items to choose for brekkie. I was lucky to try out their new item of Chicken stuffed with bacon avocado, haloumi and spinach, which is only $3.95 per piece and will be a successful hot item to be ordered by customers. Even coffee of Vittoria organic coffee is slightly under the par in terms of strength, I still enjoy this dining experience. Surely, this café is recommended.
A favourite spot to enjoy some great food and a fantastic coffee. Really enjoyed their gnocchi in their new dinner venture over the weekend, a wide range of flavours to choose from and was a real foodie experience. I highly recommend heading into Simon's if you're in the area! Staff are awesome too!
I went here the other week with a friend of mine for their gnocchi special! They absolutely nailed the pesto and the lightly toasted gnocchi was delicious. I have been craving this all week and can't wait for our booking this evening.
I had the Peri Peri Chicken. Best pizza I’ve ever had. Flavour absolutely and fresh. They also had a Wagyu Beef option. Great service as well from friendly staff. Get along. They have a broad menu, I’m sure what ever you choose will be to your liking 👌.
We dined at Simon’s at the recommendation from a friend for a special, one off ‘Ribs night’. The venue is a hidden gem that at first glance looks to be a deli/grocery store. However upon venturing further you will find a restaurant producing delicious food worthy of regular visits. The owner/chef clearly puts a lot of care and thought into the food as the dishes coming out of the kitchen were full of flavor made with quality produce and reasonably priced. The ribs were succulent and marinated in a double smoked, tangy bourbon barbecue sauce which combined well with the light and crunchy slaw that accompanied. The deep fried mac and cheese with Simon’s ‘secret’ sauce was another tasty dish that I highly recommend. Overall awesome experience which was made even better when the chef came out of the kitchen to spend some time talking to the patrons at the end of the night. Will be keeping an eye out for what’s next for this exciting venue!
Thanks Simon's Gourmet Gallery - Went here for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. Such a wide selection of top shelf foods, meats, fruit and veges and not to mention the great cafe. Meals to go were delightful. Best Deli in the Western Suburbs. Will be returning!
The staff were very friendly and the food was great. Would definitely recommend this cafe, especially the "secret brekky". Will be visiting again soon.
A lovely deli with a fantastic range of gourmet foods, sandwiches, cakes, and breakfast foods. Friendly staff with a vibrant atmosphere. Does takeaway and table service in the cafe section
The cafe is amazing but the butcher shop has some of the best steaks and skewers I have ever had.
Make sure you grab a couple of sides so there is nothing left to do but fire up the BBQ.
Love this place!
Perfectly poached eggs, with a side of 🥓 the tomato chilli jam was good, just the right amount of heat. Good service and kid-friendly. A lovely place for brunch.
Excellent service and the food is 10/10 every time. Has become our weekend routine for brunch and our daily routine for groceries. The take home meals are a lifesaver too
Our favourite weekend dining indulgence. Super healthy Options and headquarters for Doctors Choice Low Carb Cafe meals. Very reasonable pricing and friendly staff.
Had a really nice Sunday brunch here. Attached to a deli/ supermarket, Simons has a good variety of choices. I had a vegetarian omelette, light and fluffy with plenty of mushrooms, caps and spinach. Partner had a potato rosti stack. Chilli jam really a nice side to the meal. Plenty of coffee, teas and juices to choose from, this little place is a local favourite I would guess.
Been going here for months now. I've never had a bad coffee yet. Nice selection of fresh made, pre packed meals from the fridge, and the breakfast muffins are incredible!
Fantastic food, helpful staff, great coffee - what more could you want?!? I've been coming to Simons for years and the quality just gets better and better - I can never go past the all day brekky menu!! I highly recommend this local cafe/supermarket - it's great to grab a quick and healthy dinner as well (the smashed avo chicken from the butcher or the mac & cheese, ready to be chucked in the oven, are the best!!)
A farewell lunch date with a friend and her mum who was leaving to go back home to the UK turned into a fabulous afternoon of unexpected food tasting . Having ordered the LCHF (Low Carb, Healthy Fat) breakfast which I had enjoyed previously( after a friend pointed it out to me on the Simon's Facebook page), I ordered it again yesterday 25/9. Needless to say it was exceptionally tasty and filling. The all day breakfast consisted of two eggs, haloumi, two sausages, mushrooms, avocado , tomato and compliant bread made with lots of different cheeses (unfortunately I forgot the name)- such a shame I didn't take a photo. On ordering I chatted to the chef Alistair (I hope I spelt that correctly-I enquired about his name from the gentleman who served me) about my new way of eating. After tucking into my meal Alistair came out to give me a bowl of a beef meat filling without any grain that he was making for his pies which he wanted me to sample. A few minutes later, he was out again, this time apologising to my friend and her mum that he had given me a sample and hadn't given them anything (what a gem). Well he came out with a superbly plated chicken meatballs also LCHF compliant with a spicy Thai chilly sauce. On telling him that I was struggling with making LCHF desserts he mentioned that he had something for me and then appeared with three mini cheesecakes. What a treat and how wonderful it was to share this new way of eating with a listening and knowledgeable ear. Needless to say I was terribly full on leaving. This is not the first time I received exceptional service and products from Simon's Gourmet Deli. A few weeks ago they had some avocadoes on special which I missed by a day-on chatting to a lovely lady (think she might have been the owner) she was happy to give me the special price in spite of the special been over. Their meat products, especially the beef stroganoff (a favourite of my kids) , lamb merguez sausages and brownies are also a must if you haven't tried them already. Keep an eye out too for their bargain specials advertised on their Facebook page. My day was certainly made and off course shared with my family and friends. Ps-My son in year 12 who usually enjoys the beef burger is eager to try their avocado on toast 95c holiday special with the additional bacon for another 95c-what a treat and bargain.
What a fabulous place, the coffee is awesome, food is fresh with lots of healthy options and the staff are bubbly and just lovely... thanks guys
Simon's never fails to disappoint with their wide range of products, yummy meals and superb coffee - not to mention the helpful and friendly service I can always rely on. Definitely my favourite cafe in Brisbane!
Great for. Great service. Highly recommend. A little bit for everyone. Giant Jenga for the kids to. I had the Rosi and it was so delicious and all price to.
Amazing food both in the Cafe, butcher and in the shop. awesome staff too. Will definitely be back. Highly Recommend this place to everyone.
By far the best cafe I've been to in Brisbane, even better than some of the cafes I've been to in Melbourne! The customer service is second to none, even during busy peak hour times. I'm quite fussy when it comes to my coffee, and the baristas are always more than happy to make it exactly how I like it. The smashed avo with bacon and chilli jam is my absolute favourite breakfast dish, and my sister is obsessed with the Simon's big breakfast. Super excited to try their new lunch menu, in particular the club sandwich and the avo & halloumi salad!

Great food! Excellent staff and fabulous atmosphere, my favourite casual eatery, and the grocer and butcher serve very high quaility food that you can easily make delicious meals out of at home
Lively and lovely weekend breakfast. Been going here for years and almost always am satisfied. The coffee has really picked and is truly worth every cup.
I went into Simons yesterday to have a coffee with a friend. The coffee was great, their cakes were yummy. Cant wait to go back and try their new lunch menu.
Amazing food great customer service, will definitely be coming back. Family loves the food aswell with pre prepared food great for lunch or dinner :)
Unexpected delight. When I ordered this lovely sandwich from Simon's I didn't expect such an amazing blend of flavours... I will defiantly be back
Best breakfast I've had in a very long time. The Potato Rosti with poached eggs. Sensational.
Food, Coffee and service was spot on and the best thing is once you've enjoyed your meal there you can take something yummy home from the deli for lunch or dinner!
I went here this morning for Breakfast as my partner had been telling me he's been wanting to try the "Simons Big Brekkie"
Very homely little cafe on the Moggil Road, and its quite cool they have a grocer on one side, and cafe on the other! Was quite busy when we went in, which is always a good sign.
We ordered at the counter, and took our seats inside.
I got the Herb Roastie dish! This was really tasty, i thought they were super generous with the Avocado! Gave me pretty much a full Avocado! I love Avocado!!!!!! Big thumbs up from me! The meal wasnt too heavy which was great, as i don't like feeling bloated after breakfast.
He got the Big Brekkie, which had pretty much everything he wanted, poached eggs, chilli beans, hash brown, toast, sausages, bacon (and mushrooms which he gave to me!) he really enjoyed his, and told me he was "Fully Satisfied!" haha :) - $18.95 for this beast of a breakfast
Staff were really nice and friendly, place was clean, and felt cosy! We will definitely be back. Portions were huge, and my partner didn't finish it all, which he was annoyed about, and said "Next time i will not let it beat me" - so it looks like we will be returning soon for round 2!
great cafe down the main drag. cant go past it on my way to work each morning to grab a feed. good service , great food and excellent coffee
The Simon's beef burger always hits the spot, top notch!
Although the best way to start the day is definitely with the smashed avo and a cappuccino, sooo good!i wish i found this place sooner!
The best cafe and deli in Chapel Hill. I buy all my groceries there and go for coffee and breakfast sometimes. The variety is so good that I still discover new items after so many years of visiting because they bring new things in all the time. Love the selection and the really friendly staff. I don't know what I would do without this place. The new muffins are amazing as well :)
No where beats Simon's for breakfast! They served me absolutely perfect Poached Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. I've been back repeatedly and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Definitely give it a go the next time you're out for brekky!
This is our local breakfast cafe, good coffee and a really good breakfast menu. Also a good gormet shop.carrying rarer ingredients and snacks.
Fantastic little cafe attached to the deli, butcher and grocery shop they have as well. Range of items to choose from on the all day breakfast or lunch menu and the new Vittoria coffee is delicious!
I love Simons! There is such a great range of options and the food is always delicious! The all-day breakfast is fantastic, my only complaint being that it makes it even harder to choose between that and the goodies on the lunch menu ;) My breaky favourites are the Eggs benny, the smashed avo and the vego breakfast! The cafe staff are lovely and happy to comply with requests to ensure you get what you want which makes the experience even better :) The rest of Simons is just as great, with the wide range of take home meals to save cooking dinner, the quality meat in the butchers and the unique products on the shelves. Simons is definitely worth a visit!
Fresh food with a real emphases on bringing quality to customers. The new Vittoria Organic coffee is really nice change along with the fresh juices. Love the staff, love the cafe, shop and butcher!
The ramge of high quality foods is amazing, especially in the butchery. I highly recommend Simon's to all my friends. The hours they are open are also convenient
Coffee isn't bad however SOME of the staff (at times) could be a bit more friendly. Can't complain on how quick they get the coffee out that's for sure. Service compared to the little shop across the road is night and day.
Been coming here for years and the food, coffee and service is always great. Little lacking in atmosphere but made up by really exceptional service. Always greeted with a smile
Deli and cafe!. I just love local western suburb cafes/restaurants!
This place has a great deli section which stocks some really interesting products not available from the supermarket.
The food is not too bad. The ambiance could be better, but there isn't really much they can do about that considering they are situated next to a major road!
Great turkey Turkish lunch sandwich. The gourmet market is great to grab that special something for a party.
Food was amazing I would fully recommend going there for the beautiful food and great coffee
Had an awesome Omelette and crispy bacon at Simon’s this am.
Try the strawberry minty juice if you stop by. It’s AWESOME!
I was impressed this morning when Simon's Gourmet Gallery had changed up there Deli and Cafe Range. There food is always great but this morning I tried there new slices range. Best I've had, and let just say I've tried a lot! Coffee also as usual hit the spot. Got my morning off to a great start! Then I ordered take away for Lunch. Satisfied. I went to Simons Gourmet Gallery the other day and I have to say, I was very impressed! I ordered a coffee and some breakfast for me and my family and the coffee was delivered to me instantly and it was the best coffee I have ever tasted. My kids loved it there and want to go back because staff were so friendly and they loved the pancakes! It was my first time going here, but I wish I discovered it a lot earlier! Definitely coming back!
I bought a HUGE turkey for Christmas here; I’d never cooked one before. The guys gave me a run down on what to do and some great stuffing. Turned out amazing. The whole family agreed it was the best Christmas turkey ever. So so good!
I just wish Simons wasn't so far away. Really I do.
I love the selection of olives, cheeses , crackers. ......everything really is such good quality at reasonable prices. The coffee is always just right and the takeaway meals are so handy. So much better than the mass produced ready meals. You guys are spoilt to have such a place!
