We visit this charcoal BBQ and Hotpot restaurant several times a year. Our last meal here was 2 months ago and we are back! We pay $96 for three and are shown to our table. While waiting for our Mushroom Hotpot and hot charcoal to arrive, we trot off to fill our plates with meat, seafood, vegetarian products and vegetables. We also prepare our dipping sauces and top up our complimentary soft drinks.

There is no time limit and one can sit and eat for 4 hours! The ventilation system works well and service varies from average to good! Being a weekday, the service tonight is average but no complaints.

Our charcoal was lacking heat and it was replaced within 2 minutes. The coals were still red hot after 90 minutes of grilling. Impressive! The Mushroom broth was fragrant and delicious. I enjoyed two bowls of hot broth at the end of our meal. Overall, this was a satisfying and fun-filled night out. Thank you Little Lamb! 🐑

Have not been back over four years. It’s management has definitely been changed.
Took a discounted coupon dinner here last night. The obvious change is the option of either AYCE bbq or steam-boat or both. Of course, the prices are different. Since we held the coupon, we only selected to have bbq only. The second change is the display of all the raw meats, which are in the fridge. (Well, they need to pay attention to the storage of cooked and raw food in the fridge. They cannot put together in the same fridge).
Always love the clever design of the bbq set, which makes all the skewers rotates automatically. That makes the charcoal heat evenly distributed in the skewers. While we were waiting for the cooked food from bbq stove, we also enjoyed to have hot and cold cooked food from the Bain Marie. Overall selections of food are great and marinated taste is good.
If and only if the ventilation can be improved, a full Mark review will be granted. In fact, we came out of the restaurant with fresh air but the whole body including our hair are full of smoke😂

So we have been here before and after the renovations.

It’s good - not great. Unique in the sense you get all you can eat HotPot as well as all you can eat Skewers. (Only other place with all you can eat skewers I know of is the Cube - but those are precooked).

The place is reasonably priced at just over $30 for adults which is fine. It’s a grab your own ingredients place (not order) which is good and bad. Good because you can just walk up and get what you want straight away. Bad because you’d end up in a traffic jam - the meat/veges/drinks area is SO Cramped! Like it feels like squishing on a train how narrow an area you have all the dinners fighting over then sliced lamb and beef. It’s awkward and a shame they didn’t address it in the redesign - guess they had to fit in those couple extra dining tables.

Once you get the ingredients it’s great. Cook your hot pot at your leisure. The skewers are pretty cool to cook as the rotate over charcoal ... though beware of the chicken wings that are not only hard to cook right - they also take up essentially 3 slots.

All in all it’s a good place and probably a must try because of how unique the setup is, and no doubt we will be back to burst our stomachs.

Been here more (much more) than a few times!

Pros:
All you can eat!
Meat sweats!
Drinks (sodas and juices) and dessert (fruit and ice cream) included!
Charcoal grilled meats!
Did I say meat sweats?

Cons:
The steamboat is nothing to write home about.
I wish they'd make this better.

A frequent spot for my friends and I with Little Lamb's all you can eat at $31 per person as well as a well stocked alcohol fridge to choose from. I like their array of skewers as well as the meats for the soup and the side dishes (rice, pancakes and the dessert). We always spend a couple hours here filling our plates and I like the ease of eating style.

Absolutely had a great meal at the Little Lamb Hot Pot. My partner and I had dinner here Friday night after a recommendation for a friend an so glad we tried it out. For $31 each and all you can eat was a pretty good deal for us, especially with the amount of skewers, meat, seafood and veg options. Our favourite skewers were the pork belly and onion and the hot pot was fantastic too, an not to mention spicy! Will definitely recommend this place to someone who wants to try a hot pot or a lover of hot pots.

Been here numerous of times. Great spot for all you can eat skewers and hotpot. Classic place to stuff your stomach with good variety of food. Down side is... it gets pretty hot inside despite the a/c. Oh and ask for stamp card to get future discounts if you are frequent go-er

I went here before the renovation and the food was averagely priced. Food was pretty quality. Hard to fail on hotpot and charcoal BBQ. Everything was wonderful and tasty. I would probably go again, just on special occasions.

Can’t stop talking about this place and have recommended it to everyone I know! It is nothing flash or fancy, but that’s not what they’re advertising themselves to be. It is an excellent all you can eat BBQ and Hot Pot eatery - we’ve been multiple times and will continue to keep going! All the times we’ve been, the food has always been consistently replenished and appeared and tasted fresh. On top of this, the soup in your hot pot is consistently topped up by the wait staff. The place could be better ventilated as it is noted that we overheat every time we go - due to the grill, hot plate and the place being full of people (evidence of how popular this place is!) There are times that the tables and floors are a little bit greasy but it’s something that is easily fixed and attended to by the wait staff. It is incredibly well priced for what you are being offered - all you can eat BBQ and Hot Pot, for as long as you want!

So good. The food selection is amazing and it's unlimited hot pot AND grilled skewers for less than $30! Only point of recommendation is that it would've been good to have places at the table set with a plate and cutlery rather than make it self serve, but it was extremely worth it even without that service. My friend and I are definitely coming back :)

This place is okay. I've always gone here with groups of about 5 to 7 and nobody's ever complained about much. Some of the food is heavily marinated for my tastes, but then again, isn't that what the people want? I always see tonnes of people at this place so maybe... the buffet selection is nice too.

The best place for hot pot I've ever been in Brisbane. Fantastic experience and amazing foods! Hot pot, BBQ, so many dishes (both hot and cold), fruits, ice creams, drinks and all my favourite vegetables. Absolutely highly recommend to every hotpot-and-BBQ lovers! The price was fine. The service was also nice! An awesome place to go with friends.

I had been curious to try this place for a long time since they seemed to always be so packed any time we visited Genkotsu Ramen or Charcoal BBQ next door. 'Finally today is the day' I thought as we walked into Little Lamb Hot Pot. We got in pretty early and the restaurant was only half full then it started to fill up through the evening. We picked two soups which were regular non-spicy soup and red spicy soup, then paid at the counter before starting our meal. It was around $29 per head. Looked for the table as we were given the table number. Let's the dinner begin!

The table has two cooking equipment sitting on. One was the induction stove for hot pot and the other was charcoal grill with a mechanism that turns your meat skewers slowly for even cooking.

There were so much going on in the food area. We felt a bit overwhelmed by the number of food. There were different types of meat skewers in one of the fridges; chicken, beef, lamb, fish, squid, prawn, as well as offal. I quite enjoyed pork intestine grilled to crisp on the outside and still soft on the inside and chicken skin. There were two whole big counters for soup ingredients, another fridge for thinly sliced meat for 'shabu-shabu', and yet another fridge for more soup ingredients such as various types of meatballs and also side dishes. The list doesn't end here. There were also, to both ends of the area, drink stations and ice cream freezer.

You also mix your own dipping sauce here with 3 bases they provide; sesame sauce, BBQ sauce, and spicy sauce. Don't get mixed up between BBQ sauce here and typical western BBQ sauce we all know. Their 'BBQ sauce' was meant for grilled meat. I mixed it with garlic paste and coriander. 'Voila!' Then I picked up sesame sauce for my hot pot with just a little bit of chilli oil, sesame oil, and spring onions. There are endless possibilities to how you can mix your own sauce given the number of condiments they provide. So go nuts!

Back to the table, there were two shakers on one end of the grill which are cumin salt in one and chilli in the other for sprinkling onto the meats while it's cooking. Food is quite salty so go easy on those. A stainless steel cylinder for all your used skewers. Induction stove's controller is on the side of the table. We had our hotpot sitting there not boiling for 15 minutes til we found that out.

The food was above average with fairly reasonable price. Even though it left me with smokey smelling hair, I quite like their concept and the overall experience of the night. It was interesting. *Do not recommend for anyone with severe MSG allergy.

Saturday evening $29.30 per head hotpot buffet and bbq. Enter the restaurant and pay before you eat. Choose one of 5 different soups which includes a special pot where you can have 2 types of soup at the same time.  The restaurant has atmosphere with people cooking at every table, steam from the boiling hot pots and smoke from the charcoal bbq.

There is no explanation from the cashier as to what you are supposed to do or how the system works - I followed everyone else.

There is orange, mango and plum cordial as well as fizzy post mix of Coke, Lemonade etc.

There is a selection of fried jiaozi, pancakes, meat pieces (chicken), you tiaoæČčæĄ (crunchy deep fried bread sticks), spicy ribs and chive-filled fried dumplings.  Adjacent to this area is a selection of sauces, sugar, soy and other condiments - which I guess are used to flavour your soup or bbq items.

In the fridge you will find "balls" of different things (all labelled) which you add to your hotpot, there is also a selection of vegetables (lettuce, bok choy, wong bok, mushrooms, water lilly), tofus, sliced sweet potato, prawns with their shells on, baby octopus, mussels and finely shaved pork. Also in the fridge there are some cold items - not sure what they are supposed to be eaten with, consisting of japanese style mushroom (green), seaweed and other things.  if your soup gets too concentrated the waiter will add hot water to it.

For the bbq, in the fridge there are a selection of chicken, chicken wings, beef and lamb, chicken livers, lamb livers, chicken skin, fish, eggplant and prawns. Each bbq area has a dedicated exhaust fan.

If you are still hungry there is fresh fruit (rock melon, watermelon), tapioca in coconut milk and icecream.

Service is ok. Waiters didnt clean our table as you ate so you find yourself piling up dirty plates, scraps, skewers and tissue paper.

This restaurant is great if you are really hungry and are happy to cook your own food.

Good value All-You-Can-Eat
We came here with friends on a busy Saturday night for the first time and we all really enjoyed ourselves.  We ordered a yin yang pot with spicy broth on one side and mild broth on the other side.  All of us ended up cooking and eating from the spicy side of the pot!!

There was a good selection of meat, seafood, vegetables, condiments (herbs, dipping sauces etc), noodles and skewers to be used on the charcoal rotisserie. The rotisserie rotates your skewers for you which was a bonus.  The meat was a little fatty & the seafood wasn't top quality but for $30 per person you can't complain, especially as it includes drinks, a selection of hot food and dessert.

31 August 2017 - We came here for a second visit (on a Thursday night) and enjoyed it just as much as our first visit.  It's a little less chaotic if you go in the middle of the week!

All you can eat. Chilli hot pot choice very spicy but great. The self cooked skewers also nice if you chose the spicy lamb ones. The non spicy ones are a bit fatty. Kids love the choices and you end up eating for hours :)

Hot pot and bbq buffet for about $27ish pp. Went there on a weekday for dinner for 2, didn't have to wait. Not the cleanest restaurant but still good. Meats, vegies etc for hot pot. A variety of skewers to cook on this mini rotisserie that turns your skewers for you which I thought was pretty neat. Will return again. Be sure to be extremely hungry though

Save your appetite for this one because its all you can eat yo! $30pp (not $40 as zomato suggests); includes food, drinks and dessert. Pretty good value, right? Ok so you get hotpot but whats really cool is you get a hot coal grill to cook skewers too. Do recommend.

I love this place, but if you're a clean freak or someone that doesn't like a hot ambience it may not be for you.

It's serves up great hotpot with your own charcoal skewer cooker that you use to BBQ as many skewers as you can handle. We make a B line to the lamb and the occasional naughty chicken skin. We usually starve ourselves before coming too... Haha

Not sure if it's still the same but initially when it first opened, it was difficult to make a booking if you didn't speak Chinese as the person on the phone could only understand Chinese. I was hung up on twice cause the person on the phone couldn't understand even basic English! I hope they've fixed this by now. However have been here a few times and the concept of hot pot and BBQ skewers goes well together with plenty of choices to pick from if you don't mind eating a lot of fatty food. Only problem is you leave smelling like food and smoke as the ventilation system doesn't do its job well enough.

With the cold snap coming through, what better way to warm yourself after excessive overtime at work than with hot pot. Even more better when you have delightful company to join you. . We went to little lamb on a cold Thursday night for my confidant's birthday. It is situated at Runcorn Plaza, opposite the ever more popular Warrigal Square.

Went here on a Friday night at 5.30pm. We were seated straight away and staff came with our hot pot and charcoal for BBQ. Was a good experience, BBQ meat was very tender, variety of food was good although there was always a wait on meats for hot pot. I would suggest booking or arriving early around 6pm it gets very busy. My only negative is they give you small red plastic plates to put food on they are not large enough so you will need to keep getting up and getting more food to cook. Great local place to have dinner

Nice food. You have to take this restaurant for what it is. From the outside the whole place looks pretty dodgy. When you come in, friendly service is not on the menu. However, once you finally sit down you can fill your boots. I enjoyed the food and the hot pot. Couldn't complain about the price. My advice, best to go there at lunch time and you can stay for as long as you want till about 4 pm and you don't have to book. Another advice is to go there with an open mind and once you get past the cashier and language barrier it is actually a good restaurant.

This is a self serve joint where you virtually help yourself to everything - food, condiments, drinks, cutlery, napkins. Just like the last reviewer, I can affirm that "Food Eater's" review appears to be fake given there is only one level at Little Lamb, you pay before you sit down and the staff would never bring you sauces - these are at the buffet.
Food is fabulous - large variety, tasty and great value. Service is hit and miss but then again, this is the case at most authentic asian food places. Wouldn't recommend coming here with more than 5 people - 4 is ideal as thats how the tables are designed. Definitely book beforehand. They can be busy on a Tuesday night! Best to go at lunch from 12pm on the weekend - less crowds.

Eight out of Ten. Very free Chinese Hot Pot style in Brisbane. I have to say the food there has many varieties and hot pot soup is very tasty, but the service was disappointing. If Little Lamb boss see this, pls try to improve your service!

Totally I will give it 8/10 as the service was too bad but the food was great. However, I saw a review said upstairs and downstairs in little lamb, and I was laughing and have never heard of Little Lamb having two levels in Brisbane. And he said paid after meal quickly and just wanted to leave that place... I was laughing again as Little Lamb always charge b4 you go and dine in. So please make sure you went to Little Lamb.

Tasty Soup Base. Getting into the Little Lamb can be quite a conquest, since it's a busy place with weekends being very full and making a reservation would be a great idea. We usually show up during the week, starving and ready for a feast. Greeted by the friendly door girl we were asked which soup base we'd like, we chose the nutritious one and the chilli combo. DELICIOUS!

By the time we got to our table, the soup was there and the charcoal ready and waiting, all we had to do was collect our food at the expansive buffet. We collected our cutlerly from the buffet area underneath the where the dipping sauces are, chopsticks, soup ladels and bowls all waiting. I really love the BBQ sauce its yummy and I mix it with spring onion, vinegar, garlic and coriander and sesame oil yummy! There are many other sauces available too, such as satay and leek flower (salty and yummy).

They have sooooo much food available, a fridge filled with skewered meat for the bbq, prawn balls, pork balls, tofu ball, balls balls balls, a half fridge full! Plus, loads of chinese veges and tofu with a range of assorted rice noodles with my favourite, konjak; which are the ones that look like someone has tied them up, healthy and tasty! Dessert is ice cream and sliced watermelon or orange. The veges are fresh and tasty and the soup meats sliced thinly and waiting in the fridge next to the skewered meat for bbq. The meat ranged from chicken, lamb and beef with some small fish also available on skewers and delicious! The waiters clear the plates regularly so you're not overloading your table with plates, very friendly and fast service. I've been here several times now and it's one of my favourite places to go on the southside of Brisbane. I go at least once a fortnight! The price is cheap for around $30, so you definitely get your monies worth!

Value for $$$. Been here a few times, although it can get quite busy and crowded with lack of efficient exhaust system making this place smell very much like a smokey kitchen... it's good value for money. Food tastes very nice (but very fattening too), all the skewers had been marinated very well and large variety of foods available for hotpot as well. I like this place, I rate it 5.5/10.

Colourful place. Loads of variety & great having the option of BBQ skewers as well as the hot pot. Great if you don't mind lots of noise and action as it can get quite busy and hectic, not ideal for a quiet dinner outing. Can also get quite hot due to all the hot pots and BBQs happening around the place - can be an issue in Summer. I've also had difficulties making reservations in the past as some of their workers cannot speak any English - otherwise, great food!

To top off the already wide selection of food, Little Lamb also has various fried dumplings, steamed dumplings, fried chicken and other fried goods. The $29.90 buffet also includes soft drinks, ice cream and fruits. I personally didn't get to the ice cream but the boys had a plate or two after all this food so it was definitely worth while. My tips are to book in advance, don't get too excited and try to grab everything - you can't possibly try everything and fit it all at once on your table, don't wear your best clothes as this place does get smokey with all the grilling and also get your skewers on early as they take longer to cook.

This is probably the only restuarant you will find in Brisbane that offers buffet hotpot AND buffet BBQ together. And at around $30 per person, and by the fact that the restaurant fills up very quickly at weekend lunch time (and predominantly by the Chinese who are good at hunting down a bargain), I think it fair to say that it is a good bargain!

The service at Little Lamb was fairly dismissive but the atmosphere was bustling and full of people happily munching away. I thought there was a good variety of food and that the buffet was comprehensive because it included fruit, dessert (if you count ice-cream) and food that didn't require cooking. This is a good place to go to if you don't want to comit to just hotpot or charcoal BBQ alone. Why not have both? For $30 I thought it was good value, especially because there was plenty of meat available, and soft drinks were included too.
