not my favourite spot for coffee but it’s fine. order at the counter and you have to wait to pick it up even if you’re dining in. cosy seating inside and outside.

Quality control is the first thing that comes to. Mind when I think of this Gloria Jean's. The new owner/manage(who was not in uniform, but a red t-shirt) is rude. He did the normal, would you like whatever extra in your drink, won't be long. To the person in front of me. Short and to the point, which is normal in my eyes. When I approached the counter, I greeted him and I put in my order, he flicked out the eftpos machine and nothing from him was said.
I though it was pretty rude and a bit abrupt, but hey its a new owner I'm sure he's stressed out and I should cut him some slack right? Maybe not because our drinks were nothing like what we normally get, my sister said he asked for an extra dollar for cream when her drink already comes with cream, and normally some sprinkles. She asked if it already came with cream then he changed it from cream to ice-cream. When she received her drink it was a sad sloppy mess, while mine (which should have come with cream but didn't) was a bit on the sad side too.
When I asked him about it, he became super defensive and raised his voice at me. He said 'what do you want then, do you want cream?' I told him I didn't I just wanted him to know that he messed up the order. I did this incase he was confused, seems like he was not confused at all.
For everyone who frequently visits the shop for a coffee, I at least hope that's still good. The service sure was bitter.

I respectfully decline, not to worry you won't be seeing myself or my sister in your store again. Sorry, and a free drink doesn't fix the problem. I would say hire friendly staff, but I'm sure the lack of basic courtesy would just be shown to them instead of the customer. Best of luck with your new business 'venture.

After changed owner, taste changed.as well... Everytime I order Voltage, it seems like milk shake.. Compare to other branches are.more tasty than New market... Better to buy other coffee shop

Ordered a brownie. It was a little stale on the edges. I didn't mind it until one of the nuts on top nearly broke my tooth. Also had a cocoa. It looked like a milky cup of tea and it actually tasted like vomit. My guess is the milk was off.

Coffee was okay, however I wasn't allowed to use my free coffees that I have earnt on my loyalty card after being a loyal customer for sooooo many years. Very unimpressed😡

The only way this place gets customers is if the other coffee shop is full. I ordered a double shot coffee which was weak and a banana bread which tasted like a sponge that was left in the sun. You have been warned.

Dropped in one morning for a quick coffee last month. Business was not that busy. I took a seat outside the shop and waited for around ten minutes to have a not that satisfied flat white. Maybe it is me who is too picky to have a nice strong coffee in the morning but this one did not make me happy. Having said that the raisin toast was not bad at all that saves some mark.

I usually get lattes or frappes here all the time.. The coffee is strong but smooth and the staff that run the franchise are lovely and really friendly..

I was here with Dominic 8 months ago needing to cleanse our palate of seaweed and raw fish. It’s Groundhog Day as we returned yesterday for the same reason. We ordered the same beverages which arrived in the same cups. <br/><br/>This time our coffees were quite average. My double shot Cafe Latte and Dom’s Double Espresso tasted burnt and the coffee was lacking flavour. Dom was okay with his Espresso. I decided not to request a replacement coffee as I wanted to be rid of my fishy breath! <br/><br/>I read that DianaW had a similar experience so I may give this Cafe a pass after my next lunch here. The previous rating of 4/5 is reduced to 3/5.

Ordered a double shot flat white, came in a black mug very quickly. The coffee tasted burnt so on informing the barista he quickly made another. This one tasted better, but there wasn't that flavor & aroma I was craving. Awarding the 3 score mainly for great service & always a great sweet selection
