Eaten here a couple of times and I'm extremely impressed with the service and food. Staff are very friendly and happy to be there. Food tastes great too!

I finally gave this place a go after eyeing it off for years. I’m not typically a fan of takeaway heavy on bread so always decided against trying it. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn’t as heavy as I expected (they offer a lower carb pita) and the flavours were amazing. Highly recommend the special sauce and house aioli. The lamb shoulder is a little stringy but great nonetheless and the loaded chips are nice. I would consider this is a slightly better quality kebab and prices are very reasonable.

I am not someone who would give bad reviews to businesses as I know how hard it is to run a business. However, yesterday was my second time at the Yiros Shop at New Market and I was disappointed.
I paid around $16 for just a box of chips. The girl at the counter even asked me if I would like some cheese and I said Yes, however, the Yiros looks like dog food and the box had more chips in it than chicken and the cheese was next to none.
Completely disappointed. Would never go there again.

Pretty frustrating when it is my first time going to yiros and we decided to get some before our movie. To our surprise we waited 20 mins and watched 3 workers stand around leaning on the bench talking, all i ordered was a yiros medium chips and sweet potato chips with chicken , as a chef i know that order would easily be done under 5 minutes but instead they stood around talking, pretty disapointed.

Nice place to dine in. Food is really good and they have various different varieties. Also new foods are released each year which are pretty much good

A tale two punks who diberalaretly gave me the wrong order 9/02/2022, 7pm
So as a regular I usually love this place but this evening I went and the manager wasn't there . (Sadness as we know each other by name). However two young boys were there and they decided they would talk about how they would give the incorrect orders to people because they were bored..me naturally overhearing they intended to not give me feta on my rocket and feta yiro.. ( somewhat key ingredient) checked it before leaving...True enough no feta.
So I asked politely to have feta on it. They proceeded to poor feta all over my yiro , 6 scoop fulls ( I really wish I could take a photo of this mess they handed me...so ..I'll be passing this tale onto everyone I work with who visits this store.
I'm never returning

Lunch choice was 2 platters with a side of halloumi cheese chips! Shared between three of us it was enough to fill us up. Greek salad was yum, pita warm, halloumi chips...omg delicious. The only two complaints was that there was not enough pita and the lamb was a bit dry. But we scoffed the platters down quick! We will return to try the yiros!

Who hasn’t had a wholly regrettable late night ‘meat’ snack...usually en route home from a big night? Well sober up & put on your big dude pants because this is the polar opposite: these yiros are legit.

Gotta go lamb, gotta go special sauce & gotta have haloumi chips. None of this mystery meat bizo: it’s chock full of tender marinated lamb shoulder pieces with no gaminess. Literally all killer, no filler. Almost to the extreme. Next time I’ll forego the beautifully seasoned chips inside (which I personally find too much of a good thing) for a titch more salad please. Special sauce always lives up to its name. And it’s all held together with fluffy, light yet substantial pita bread. Insane.

Simple surroundings typical of the chain are even more stark here - limited seating; takeaway-esque feel; car park setting. Frankly she basic. Still I’ve scored higher than neighbouring eateries because we’ll return specifically for these bad boys again (or Deliveroo ‘em from our comfy, warm couch).

So I’ve swapped late night, boozed slop for dignified, quality yiros (with a sneaky bev on the side - yep it’s even licensed) without a single regret...oh except for sharing on this occasion, but trust me that won’t happen again.

The place seems to be nice and busy with locals and the staff seemed to be attentive. We ordered a Snack Pack with Chicken and a Yiros each with Maryland Chicken and Lamb Shoulder. I requested the chips in the snack pack to be well done with extra salt but they forgot that part unfortunately, I also found the sauces and chicken to be lacking flavour. The yiros on the other hand were good, the pita bread used seemed really fresh and soft which enhanced the overall experience.
#realfood #yiros #divine enough said? These guys do yiros so very very well! Nice bite to eat before a movie or takeaway. Get your yiros on!

Loved the Greek food here! Looks like a kebab shop but tastes nothing like a kebab. A bit expensive. Have only tried the yiros but would like to go back and try some of their other stuff.

Good food, fresh ingredients, something different in the market. Has the look of a kebab shop at first glance, but upon closer inspection is a very different experience. Really good pita, tasty meat and Greek style salad and sauce/dip options

These are mediocre yiros, the fresh zesty pop of Greek flavour doesn’t really exist here because these don’t include salad - you just get a mouthful of carbs and meat. I’d recommend one of the plate meals over the yiros, they are a much more balanced meal.

Stopped here before an activity closeby for convenience. Food was served quick and they had a $5 beer with every purchase. My friends had the chicken and lamb Yiros had a bite and it tasted good, plenty of sauce and the chips were well fried. Feta chips are just chips with feta on top but was tasty, haloumi chips average. Overall good for a quick bite but could be cheaper priced. Good service.

I have had both the lamb and pork belly yiros. They are so delicious and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend based on my experience!!

Great service, thanks to the young man who served us. All around good experience. Tried the fish - was pleasantly surprised it was hot and yummy. Fresh yiros bread and lots of sauce and chips

tried the greek topped chips in large. for the price i don’t think it’s worth it but the chips were crispy and very nicely done (not bathed in oil) so that was a huge plus for me. this share plate is literally like a HSP but “greek” since they use a greek-style yogurt-based sauce. the sauce was refreshing and didn’t clash with the flavours of the dish. the lamb was good but there were still some inedible fatty parts that i had to pull out which was disappointing.

service was friendly but did take some time. overall i did like my visit but wish there was more bang for my buck
