We had vegetarian pizza as well as coffee. The pizza was nice. Staff were nice and attentive. Service was great. The ambience is nice considering that it’s located in the shopping center . I didn’t like the coffee. It tasted more like milk than coffee.
Ate at the Boroughs of New York restaurant in Carindale today. Ordered two pizzas - New Yorker & Seafood Bliss. Both pizzas had crispy bases and a generous amount of toppings. The 10inch pizza is roughly the size of generic pizzas and is sliced into 6 slices. The mild chili cheese fries were very delicious - could do with more cheese though. The decoration is very nice albeit a bit dimly lit but overall a very nice atmosphere. Service and attendance was great too. A great experience into the flavours and tastes of New York’s food.
If you're looking for fresh, crisp pizza flavored well and served fast, visit this incredible pizza shop! The restaurant is smallish, but there is still enough room to share a pizza for one. The staff are friendly, which is always a highlight. You can look over the table and see the oven where they cook your pizza as you wait. Well done Boroughs of New York!

I had the ribs, the girl told me its new on the menu. I love a restaurant who adds new stuff.
the great thing was I got to see the girl put the ribs on the pan and place it in the wood fired oven, right beside my pizza. My pizza came out first and since I was taking it away, I watched as the ribs slowly cooked, the smell was devine, could not wait to try it.
I took my pizza and ribs home and had the ribs first, it was still pretty hot. I wish is was a little spicy, but the sauce was really think and tasty. Ribs are hard, but great ribs, will be back for them. The pizza crust was amazing, real tasty. will be back for the ribs.
Just had such a great meal! Everything cooked fresh and tasty! Onions rings the best! Service was excellent, very friendly! Will be back for sure 😊👍🏼
I went for my bday on Sunday with my gf and son. Being from Philly and having had a proper NY style pizza, this place is my favourite. $20 for a large cheese pie?! Fuggedaboudit....cheap and very tasty! They also had a Philly Cheese Steak pizza on special....we ordered the small size and I found it awesome as well.

Was craving a nice wood fired pizza and this place delivered 18" inches of it. Enjoyed the great taste and impressive presentation of the pizza on a big wooden board. Couldn't finish the one pizza between three of us but we enjoyed it all the same. Friendly service also.
Great quality pizza with fresh ingredients! Allowed us to do half half with the 18" and feels like three of us spent less than if we all purchased separate meals. Lovely service too.
This place is delicious! We love the buffalo cheese pizza. There big size is awesome to and is great value for money. The pizza base is so soft and tasty. I could eat it on it's own!

Boroughs of New York Pizza in Carindale was a bit of a surprise for a pizza joint inside a shopping centre. The decor is very cool and laid back, the staff are great and it always gives a personal, special touch to be served by the owner of the business who truly cares about quality pizza.
The absolute outstanding pizza though tops it all! The flour, tomatoes and mozzarella are all sourced from Italy, and you can taste it. The pizzas are divine! And if you don't eat gluten that's no problem either. They make the very best gluten free pizza I have ever tasted. Don't like pizza? That's ok too because they have you covered with chilli cheese dogs, bagels, desserts, milkshakes, organic coffee and American soft drinks.
If you love your pizza, are an American missing home or just like a great meal somewhere where the owner and staff actually care about quality food with awesome service then Boroughs of New York Pizza is a must visit!
Every time we come here the pizza is outstanding the customer service is above and beyond. We come back every Thursday night to being a night of shopping. Love it!

Yesterday I went to do my last minute shopping in Westfield Carindale. I was so tired going around looking for gifts and making sure I don't forget someone's gift. I couldn't feel my legs and to make matters worse, I AM HUNGRY!!! So I decided to look for something to eat. And I found what I wanted! I said to my self, it seems like I haven't walk passed by this area for so long and I didn't know that there's a new restaurant. So I tried this New York style pizza. I was only after a slice but I was so amazed about how massive it was! Then I thought, why not eat a whole 10" pizza since I am very hungry. It was my first time to try the pizza in this restaurant so I asked for a little help from the staff at the counter. Everyone was so nice to me and including the chefs who are Italians! Though the way they speak English is funny (in a good way of course!), they tried to at least make me understand how everything works. To cut the long story short, I ordered a 10" Staten Island pizza since I love spinach and I'm lazy to make my own. It comes with Italian sausage, free-range eggs, spinach and fresh chilli and the works (mozzarella, pizza sauce and fresh basil). All I can say was, the pizza was a bomb! Light and crispy crust, toppings were just enough for the size, pizza sauce is a spot-on! Now I know why it says on the menu (secret pizza sauce)! Look how stunning the pizza is! No need for filter! So much things to say about the place but I'll save it next time I hit the road. Zomato has only 5 out 5 but I'll give it a 9! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Always walk past this place but decided to try it last weekend, the Margherita pizza slice was really delicious!! The bases are perfect nice and thin and crispy like how it's made in the U.S., and they use fresh basil. Loved it. Have since gone back and tried the Hawaiian which wasn't as good but still tasty. Definitely recommend the Margherita though!! Yum!
Been wanting to try this place for ages as it is usually busy and the pizzas look good. Ordered a pizza, calzone and the pizza fries for takeaway. Staff were friendly but the calzone was scarce in regards to filling and tasted doughy. The Brooklyn fries probably would have tasted better if eaten right then and there and not taken home. A little disappointed and quite pricey. May give them another go but would eat in if you could find a seat.
Impressive extra large pizzas made by skilled chefs in pizza ovens. What else can you ask for?

At Carindale, it was very busy so I was after something tasty and mind blowing. The two slices of margarita pizza did the job. The hot, tasty pizza is always nice to have and the experience you will never forget.
Absolutely adore this place. No other pizza compares! The bases are freshly made in front of you, and topped with high quality ingredients, then cooked in the most beautiful ovens i've ever seen! The atmosphere is upbeat and soooo New York. The staff are incredibly friendly, they love to joke around and as a regular customer they even changed the night of their degustation (monthly event where you may sample lots of pizzas for $35, plus free wine!) to be the night before my birthday! Since finding this place I have converted my boyfriend, best friend, and whole family into coming here. It's the best.
The pizza base has a very nice crunch that is thin but still maintains some bite. The crust is one of the best I tried in Brisbane. The toppings all appear to be placed lightly to let the other components of the pizza shine.
The onion rings were quite good too.
I'm Italian and I have to say I am pretty impressed by this little place in a shopping centre!. I usually would only eat my Pizza at Beccofino but this is pretty good!. Really love having lunch here whenever I'm in the neighborhood:-). La pizza era proprio buona, bravi Ragazzi!
Delicious lunch, great staff and service.. My family and I tried out this restaurant this week for lunch. Our chicken pizza was absolutely delicious.
We then had a dessert pizza which was ricotta, fresh strawberries, banana and nutella on a fresh pizza base. It was amazing!!!!!
I would go definitely go back for a lunch/dinner, and will definitely order the dessert pizza again!!!

I watched this Chef (Sammy) make my pizza. That was great, I watched him stretch it, put the cheese, put the toppings and put it in the oven. You guys nailed it with the design, and open kitchen.
I lived in Washington D.C. and the pizza that I had was on the money....you captured the New York Flavour... I also noticed you had music from New York, great idea.

I love the design. The pennies on the oven looks classy. Coffee is really good in the morning. 9" mushroom pizza with a side of onions rings and a Jasmine ice tea hit the spot.
Absolutely beautiful! This resturant only just opened but I have already been multipal times. The food is fresh, quick and a lot healthier than dominos! It's nice seeing the chefs prepare all the pizzas right infront of you. Will defiantly continue to visit.
Nice pizza, but overrated buzz! The dough is really thing and crispy like a real pizza should be. You can choose your toppings which is great. But its a little bit expensive.
Amazing food, service is a bit slow but it's worth it.
The pizza bases are hand spun in the air which is a nice touch and the pizza ovens are lined with nickels which is also well themed.
It's expensive to add extra toppings but the base is pretty filling so don't go overboard on the extras.
The Arancini balls aren't very nice so I'd give them a miss.
Apart from the obvious choice of the pizza, it's worth it to try the chilli fries and.
Seating is atrocious.
I'm really glad Kat convinced me to try Slice of New York. Not only was the pizza delicious, at that price the serving size is phenomenal. We ended up taking a slice each home for later. I like that the place is licensed for beer, wine and cider. I loved the waffle fries. It's awesome that something like this has opened up in Carindale. I can't wait to go back for more.
The Pizza was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We specially enjoyed the special bar drinks, the Espresso martini and Pina colada. Customer service was excellent. Highly recommend this place. Hands down to the best pizza in town.

Clean premises, friendly staff and nice pizza. Nothing is done out the back, food is prepared and cooked in front of you.
Its not like your average neighborhood pizza joint, these guys serve up the best wood fired pizza I have ever tasted. As you walk into this place you get that incredible aroma of baking pizza. We went on a busy night to pick up this amazing whopping family size pizza and the wait time for a large hand stretched fresh pizza was less than 30 minutes which was very impressive. We picked our own toppings as they also have the option to customize to your liking. Oven baked chicken, artichoke hearts, baby spinach, garlic and their Italian mozzarella. We will be back to try other flavours. Thank you guys
One of, if not my favourite pizza place to dine at. Offers a wide variety of pizzas, including vegetarian. Pizza always has nice crispy base and topping tastes fresh. The staff are always extremely friendly and polite, especially the owner. Thereby creating a warm atmosphere in which to eat some high quality pizza. Would highly recommend to anyone. Big thumps up.
