After the brekkie at the Arlette’s Kitchen, I felt like to have a take away coffee for the journey back home. First one came up to my mind was the new listing of the Espresso Monk down the road so gave it a go. Unfortunately, it did not open on Sunday (a mistake from the Zomato site again!), then I search a replacement around the area. It showed that this renowned eatery was the nearest. Remembered I had a good experience on its coffee and a bad experience to have the first almond croissant in my life that was served cold. However, it has been three years and I only aimed to have a take away coffee so drove to get one.
Upon arrival, parking area around was always packed. Fortunately, I got an on-road parking space next street opposite to the park so walked down to join the queue outside the cafe for take-away coffee.
I purposefully went in and browsed around. There was nearly full house inside. That was what had happened in my last visit. The difference was the coffee that it served was so gooooood!
It made my day!👍💪👍

Seriously good coffee here & they do their own beans on the premises. Coffee has rich flavours & is presented well. Also brew their own beer
Not my first time coming here. However, the place is still as good as the first time. With a warm and comforting vibe. One of the few coffee shops with adequate parking and seating. Only complaint is that the coffee could have been a little hotter (personal preference, I understand they have a set way of making coffee). Also, one of the employees almost stole my girlfriend from me as a result of his happiness and positive aura of energy. Definitely going to return.
Was greeted warmly when I came to order my coffee. I ordered a cold brew and it was rich and strong with a tinge of acidity. I do wish the coffee could have been filtered through because there was a slight sandy gritty texture in the coffee which wasn't super pleasant. Otherwise a great cuppa.
Fantastic coffee! Very fast and effective service. Unfortunately food isn't their forte, but hey, usually places with exceptional coffee don't really do great food. Will be returning for the coffee.

Quick Coffee after Sunday Church. Always loved Fondue coffee and setting crose road of Crosby Park and drink good coffee makes the day. :) Very nice for the area. ++
Enjoyable coffees, tried a doppio, almond milk latte and long black. Location is a bit crowded but the coffee makes up for that. Only suggestion for improvement would be the staff, while the hipster vibe is the in thing, being surly and indifferent is a turn off ... Smile, it won't hurt.
Hands down best coffee I've ever had and I've travelled the world searching for a good coffee. Love the atmosphere and love that you can see the roasting. Just amazing. Cannot recommend more
Not only does Fonzie Abbott offer extraordinarily good coffee, they also have great food and friendly staff. My baguette was made with a heavily seeded and very crusty and tasty baguette. The filling was fresh and oozing out. They don't have an extensive menu but what they do offer is all superbly made. I'm looking forward to trying their sweet offerings.
They aced it! Great coffee and a wonderful muffin. Great little place to stop and refuel. One of the better muffins and coffees we have had in a while.
Been meaning to head over this side of town for while and try these guys out its head office of Fonzie abbott coffee roasters...didnt get a chance for food this time but the coffee was great. Had a well executed piccolo and doppio. Milk was textured well and perfect temperature and I grabbed some beans for home as well...Definitely pop in if you are in the area. I will be back for sure as its hard to find a good coffee made well.
Fonzie Abbott Fox St. Factory in Albion is the headquarters for Fonzie Abbott Coffee Roasters. It’s the latest addition to cafes in Hamilton and the Valley. There are cool things going on here like the option to book in and blend green coffee beans yourself then have them roasted fresh. Help yourself and bag your own roasted coffee beans from the barrels to take home. Much thought has gone into the interior decoration and the Fonz would appreciate the motorcycle enthusiasm. You can find your morning muffin or breakfast brioche here too.
What an epic place! I was lucky enough to experience Fonzie Abbott Espresso for the first time on their grand opening day.
The place itself is situated on Fox St, right near Brother Rugby Union club. The setting inside is a mixed between old and new with some awesome little touches all over the place.
I especially appreciated the copper handrails that ran up and down the staircase. The staircase was also littered with some amazing coastal photos and paintings which kind of made me want to drive straight to the beach!
As for the coffee it was delicious... As I expected. I had the 'Bom' blend which was their blend of the month.
I will definitely be returning here.
Excellent coffee. Friendly staff. The owner is very knowledgeable and keen for chat. It was a great experience. and good to see Albion is on the up an up.
We went around 4pm on a Friday afternoon, and there were plenty of tables available. Ordered an antipasto board (pictured) which was great value and tasted incredible. Also shared the 'Lowside' pizza which was average in terms of price and taste. Their IPA was good, the watermelon sour however tasted a bit bland. Another plus was how quickly the food came out. Overall, I'd recommend trying this place.
Coffee was great !!! Super busy , but we sat and ate in…. No delays on food and it was delicious. Sadly my eggs didn’t run when popped 🥹. Highly recommend
Love the coffee pods at Fonzie Abbott! They recently offered a monthly subscription so now I can get a regular delivery to my door. These are hands-down the best coffee pods around. Highly recommend buying these!
Great coffee ! Nice atmosphere and location opposite large sports fields. Parking a bit difficult but worth the good coffee and ability to wait outside in the sunshine for my takeaway coffee.

We visited in the morning and was met with quite a busy and bustling atmosphere. We were initially worried about seating but we went outside where there was an online & contactless order and payment system! When the food and the coffee arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality, presentation and most importantly, the great blend of flavour that it provided. Both the coffee and food were excellent. Definitely worth the visit and would definitely recommend it to a friend! 😊🙏
Coffee is great. The bakery goods are exceptional. The parking situation is interesting…

Good place to get a coffee. Small quantities however is very flavorful. Location is very convenient and great deals from time to time. Almond croissant is a must try and caramel slice is great for sweet tooths.
This was my regular for 6 months. Coffee almost every morning and their ham cheese croissants were awesome. Price just went up 18.6% in one day, so have already found somewhere else for my regular.
