Went last night for the all you can eat sushi for $19. Went with hubby.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted at the door and shown to our table.
The sushi was good, nothing over the top, but I was expecting that with the price. Our waiter was lovely, and attentitive.
Only issue I have with them, is to make sure their drinks glasses are cleaned properly. Had to return a few times, and ask for a cleaner glass.
Will be back with a larger group of people next time. Nice atmosphere for a mid week dinner date for friends.
Diana. Giving Zuri the thumbs up because the staff were pretty attentive to my particular whims. Being vegetarian they made sure I was looked after with a nice prawn dish & veges, also were quick to replace my Deutz sparkling when the first one was served flat. Overall the food was quite good apart from the endamame & dumplings which replicated something out of a woolworths freezer. Still enjoyable night though looks like a buzzing hip bar
Good for mid week night out. If you are after a budget midweek night out, this is the place. Can't say much for the atmosphere or the ambience but the midweek special with all you can eat Sushi and hot Tapas (Wed night??) is well worth the money.
Food is hot and a few varieties to choose from. They will bring out as much food as you can stomach. The chicken Karaage is better than most sushi trains.
Will go back again soon.
Winner. I'm a huge fan of Zuri. I've come many times, especially to take advantage of the 40% off Japanese tapas (Thursday nights). When the food is so affordable, it gives you more money to spend on the beautiful cocktails. I would recommend it to anyone!
Always a great night out but the food is also awesome - great Japanese style tapas and share plates with attentive service and excellent bar selection - a true one stop shop for a premium experience in the valley!
Love Zuri Bar. I love Zuri Bar for their sushi and also Friday night cheap drinks from 5pm. $5 cocktails are delicious - can't get enough of the French Martinis - yum yum yum!
Great Atmosphere. Great stylish bar, good food. Perfect for catching up with friends. My boyfriend loves the all you can eat Sushi on Wed night and Kaisaki on Thurs night! Sat night goes off on the dance floor!
A definet. Stumbled into Zuri one Saturday night when i heard music from out the front. being a bartender myself i was surprised with their cocktail menu, such a range, and my girl friend was amazed they had low calorie cocktails that actually tasted like normal cocktails. we came in again on Wednesday and that same Thursday to try the food and were overwhelmed. lovely service, great food and great drinks.

This is probably one of the best bars in Brisbane! Whenever I go out with a group of friends I have the best time and get the bartenders to make us crazy fresh fruit cocktails, so delicious and cheaper than alot of other cocktail bars in the area! The all you can eat Japanese tapas on Thursdays are amazing and such great value and I heard they do sushis on Wednesday so I'm keen to try! And one thing that freaked me out is everyone who works there is extremely polite, smiley and good looking!!!
Amazing find!. Stumbled across Zuri last Friday afternoon when I was pleasantly surprised to find $5 cocktails and champagne! The staff were friendly and happy to serve the delicious tapas on offer. Zuri is perfect for light food in a decadent setting. Can't wait come back with friends for a few more drinks!
Seriosly good food!!!!. I went to Zuri bar and restaurant on the weekend and thought i would order an array of different kaiseki plates, such as the prawn gyoza, baked scallops, prawn nanban, salt and pepper squid and aburi sushi. It was the best japanese I have ever had, and easily the best in Brisbane! I couldnt recommend it more!! A+++++
Excellent food, beautiful environment. Went here for a fashion event with friends, beautiful surroundings and the food was amazing. I ordered a rare wagyu beef main and the waitress recommended I order medium rare, which was quite strange but I went with it. The wagyu came out what I would consider rare, so I guess it was a good call on her part. I ordered scallops in wasabi mayonnaise as an entree and they were beautiful! Each scallop came on an individual spoon, a nice touch. We were awarded our meal value in a drinks card to use at the bar as a part of the fashion event deal, so I can attest the cocktails were excellent! Go for the "mona lisa" for a deliciously fruity concoction. We will be going back for a girls night soon, possibly all you can eat sushi.
Beautiful venue with food and cocktails to match!. Ive been into Zuri several times. The food, including Sushi Wednesday, has gotten even better now they have a new chef. I recommend the teriyaki chicken or the five dollar grazing plates on a friday. The cocktails are amazing, there was even plenty for this picky drinker to choose from. Friday and Saturday nights when zuri transforms into a nightclub are a blast, loving the guest DJ's on a Friday. If your after a breathtaking venue with amazing drinks, good beats and yummy food, do try.
Zuri, still standing above the rest.. I recently took a group of clients out after work. They were after a place that was stylish, comfortable, and had a quirky twist to it. Zuri came to mind straight away with its french decor , and Japanese influenced menu's. There was a private function on in one of the rooms, so it was buzzing with people enjoying themselves. The host found us a nice comfortable lounge in front of the Dj where we sat for hours and enjoyed a few too many cocktails. Everyone is still talking about what a great night it was. Thanks to all the team at Zuri.

Amazing evening. Went to zuri on a first date on a recommendation from a friend and boy did it deliver!
We shared a few sushi dishes that where awesome, especially the aburi salmon! It was a great price and our waitress was very attentive and lovely!
You definitely have to check out Zuri!

LOVED IT!. My friends and myself came into Zuri Bar & Dining on Saturday night for a work function with canapés and cocktails.
There were live percussionists which gave an exotic vibe and incredible djs that you wont forget soon!
The cocktails we ordered were made to perfection by all the incredibly polite and enthusiastic bartenders, which tasted amazing!
The Japanese canapés were great and definitely worth coming back for.
Overall the vibe, Japanese Cuisine, venue and people were incredible..
Zuri Bar & Dining is one place you don't want to walk past on a Friday and Saturday night!!

Amazing night; Two from two!. Just recently returned to Brisbane after an inter-state jaunt, and was interested to see the changes that the Valley had implemented in the time I was away. Much had changed yes, but I was glad to see Zuri's service and atmosphere outstripped most of the newcomers and showed the old crowd how it should be done. Had a few cheeky cocktails and a (reasonably priced) bite to eat before heading out into the Valley, before becoming disheartened with the rest of the place and scurrying back in before the nanny state lock out at 3. 100% coming back.

Superb! Reasonably priced, exquisitely presented contemporary Japanese menu ($15 all you can eat sushi on Wednesday!) matched with knowledgeable, gregarious and welcoming bar and floor staff. A must for the weekends, and truly a treat during the week. Highly recommended!
Best Bar and Dining experince. The best place to have a nice family function or a get together with friends, for drinks and dinner.

Stylish!. Zuri is one of the best places I've ever eaten, danced and drunk in all Australia. I really loved the environment, the music, the nice employees working there... I highly recommend going there on a wednesday for the fabulous all you can eat sushi for $15!
Great value!. Wow very happy with last Thursdays dinner at Zuri in fortitude valley, amazing value as they happened to have their dining special on so we all got a huge feed :) we started with beautiful fresh sushi on their mainly Japanese influenced menu, followed by a perfectly grilled steak, I was chuffed. Didn't expect them to nail the steak but they did... My Boyfriend was happy too with his chicken teriyaki, I think I'll get that next. Looked good, ended the evening beautifully after too many yummy cocktails :) lol managed to dance SOME of it off!
Amazing venue! I have attended a few events at zuri, some for work, as well as friends engagement parties and birthdays. The decor is stunning, so they had to reason the add decorations all it needed to finish it off was the lovely function sign zuri had created to welcome and direct guests. The last event was a cocktail reception in the champagne room (or this could be the vip room?) the japanese canapes were so detailed and arranged with so much effort they were almost too cute to eat. Overall it was very organised and professional, there was never anything too difficult for the staff, great atmosphere and beautiful venue = what more would you want. Looking for excuses to go back already!
I went to Zuri on Friday night for a quite afterwork drinks. I was delighted when I realised they do cocktial for $5 from 5 til 8! Soooo I ended up staying a bit later than anticipated and we decided to have dinner in the restaurant (which I hand't known existed previuosly) apparently it;s just expanded and I can tell why- the food was deliciuos- the waitress informed us that they have a completely authentic Japanese Kitchen, I has the salmon for my main course, it was cooked to perfection. My colleague had steak which was also very good- or so I hear, he didn;t share! Needless to say I'll be bacl. Keep up the good work Zuri!
Great on Friday nights. Some $5 cocktails from 5-8pm then $10 cocktails after 8pm. Was very relaxed, bar staff were great. I have been before on a Saturday night when it was busy and I would probably steer clear of busy times in future.
