I am quite addicted to this place, especially the taco salad bowls. I’ve been ordering a fair bit of takeaway and really enjoy it, especially the chicken and corn chips. I want to come in and try the specials soon but so far Ive really liked it.
Stubbled upon this place on a Wednesday night walking around Rosalie. We all got excited as everyone spotted the 25c for wings (Wednesday’s only) poster. Wings were so good for how cheap they were. You get Spicey or BBQ flavoured. Everyone smashed about 20 each and that’s only $5. Score!. We also ordered a Beast Nachoes to share. Disappointed cause it wasn’t the cheesey, salsary, meaty mess you usually get, tasted like a dry burrito bowl.
This place is so groovy. Absolutely beautiful inside with a great atmosphere. I've seen their ads (which always make me giggle for some reason) at the cinema a few times and decided to come here for a burrito to take away. It was quite late in the evening and the staff were very polite and happy to make it for me even though it was long after most venues would have closed their kitchens for the night. The burrito itself was nice, so tasty and packed as full as it could go which is everything I want in a burrito. Love that they are open so late, too, and will definitely be coming back with friends soon.
Feeling a bit of Mexican today, and it seems like Burrito Bar was the only one around Rosalie. I noticed they have a 'Lunch Deal' consisting of a Baby Burrito (half the size of a standard), Chips and a Soda for $9.95. Yeah! Sounds good :)
The burrito was wrapped in foil served at a decent size (for myself at least). Taking my first bite, I tasted a mixture of goodness. The tortilla was soft, the chicken was tender and filled with flavour (the sauce reminded me of satay). Brown Rice, Black Beans, Onions, Salsa and Cheese was also included. A little surprised there wasn't any greens in the burrito though. The lunch deal also came with a generous serve of chips coated with spicy seasoning.
Staff are very friendly here, would come back to give their tacos are try :)
Thank you Burrito Bar!
Casual and friendly atmosphere, quick service, good food and drinks at a decent price.
I have been here a few times now when going to the cinema on the same block and it is always a pleasant experience. I have tried the delux nachos, chicken wings, chilli con carne and assorted entree options such as the .mexican fries and the fiesta trio and they are all fresh and tasty and with bottles of hot sauce at each table you can add extra spice when desired. Their margaritas also come highly recommended.
it's my closest Mexican so I've been a bunch of times. Monday and Wednesday deals are amazing. not the best but it's not bad.
Thank god for Wednesday's! My housemates and I came down to Burrito Bar for one of the best value feeds going around on a Wednesday night. 25 cent wings!! The Burrito Bar give quick service, from the front of house staff to the kitchen, within 10 minutes of arriving I had my wings. Chipotle flavoured wings were pretty decent for the price. Need to come back another night to try their nachos or burritos!
Love the Californian burrito. The Californian burrito is always yum - although not very healthy. Wings on Wed - 25cents each are great value.
Not an intimate dining experience - more so a Mcdonalds but Mexican style. Suits me fine though.
Delicious fresh Mexican street food!. I had lunch here on Sunday, just a quick bite on the way home. Service was friendly and fast and the Baja Fish Taco and the Achiote Chicken Taco were both lovely, really really nice and great value! I'll be back.
Pulled pork paradise. Decent amount of negative reivews on this page so perhaps I just got lucky, but for what it's worth, I reeeeeeeally enjoyed my pulled pork burrito. The flavours were deliciously smokey and the ingredients tasted fresh. My partner seemed pretty content with his tacos and my mother mostly enjoyed her chipotle burrito; only drawback was that it was NOT worthy of the two chilli warning on the menu as advertised..bit of a bummer. She commented about it to the staff who were very surprised. They said usually people find it damn spicy, sometimes even too much so. Perhaps we just landed a dud, somehow. I'll be keen to return however, as my burrito hit the spot perfectly.
Back to being great. Thank God - someone new must have taken over and the food is back to being great. New menu and clearly new chefs. Beef burrito is tasty, great black beans and rice inside with tasty salsa. They still can't work out that if you order a nachos as an entree it should come out first so make sure you specifically ask for this. - but that was also good. TIP: their "death sauce" is crazy batsh*t hot. I love super hot food but 3 bites in I was in need of resus. Would not order this sauce again - or at least get it on the side as my meal was ruined. Nice to have this Mexican place back in the fast food mix for us. Worth a revisit if you've not been for a while
All good. We went here with a voucher. I was worried after reading some of the reviews but I needn't have worried. The burritos were fine, the beer cold, the chips nice and the buffalo wings tasty. It's not a restaurant, it's a takeaway/eat in place. For what it is it was just great. The staff were nice - they made a mistake with one of the burritos and replaced it promptly when advised, even though my partner had half eaten it.

Quality of food depends on staff that are working. Staff seem to rotate quite often so it's hard to predict. If staff working speak and understand English and can actually cook then food is great. Try the Mexican chips they are amazing! Would be good if guac added to burritos was only $1 as $16 for a burrito is excessive
Well we had a lovely, quick well served, well prepared food, I think some of the negative reviews may be a reflection of the transient staff not the quality of the offering. Loved it!
We had the $5 lunchtime Burritos and they were delicious! We both had the pulled pork. They were on the small side but adequate for a lunchtime meal. The bottle of coke cost us $4.50 which was rather pricy mind you. Overall we really enjoyed the experience.
What is sad about the Burrito Bar is that the company changed hands a while back, and before that happened it was AMAZING! The portion sizes were large, the food was fantastic and so worth the price. Now the prices are the same, the foo isn't as good and the portion size have shrunk dramatically. Disappointing, but still enjoyable occasionally.
Awesome food, perfect size! 2 thumbs up!! Great!!
Great meal. Had the best burrito and nachos today at rosalie. Mariachi was spicy and the nachos tasted supreme! also love the mexican jaritos drinks they have on offer. best place to go in rosalie in my books.
Yum. Fast service, cheap and yummy burritos. I love this place.
Quick & Yummy. My husband and I went there and loved it. The burritos were tasty and filling, yet light on the stomach. The corn on the cob was super yummy and their fries were heavenly, SO crunchy yet fluffy inside.
The service was quick and everyone friendly.
We will certainly be regulars as it is quick, tasty food at a good price.
My husband and I absolutely LOVE the burrito bar Rosalie,we go once or twice a week without fail.Great service & atmosphere and the food is beautiful, chicken nacho fries are our favourite ;)
Not bad not great just average. A bit heavy for me. Rice wrapped in bread is a little too much. My husband loved it though. It was fresh and well priced .
No Complaints.... I love the Burrito Bar!. I've eaten at the burrito bar several times and I can tell you its great food, friendly service and affordable price. However, no restaurant is perfect and in saying that... if the til makes a mistake with my order there are no hesitations when I ask for a replacement. What I don't' understand is if people are dissatisfied with the food, why not tell management directly you want it differently? Rather than rampage online. I also don't think its fair to blame the cashier for "speaking too fast" if you agree to something... you've obviously ordered it.
Great service, great value for money - it is obviously supposed to be a quick & cheap fast-food type place and not a 5star restaurant
The food is amazing! Love that they have frozen margaritas! Atmosphere is also really good. Best Mexican in town! =D
I actually quite like the Burrito Bar. I wouldn't say I'm eating the most authentic food in the world (especially as my current favourite is the one called a 'not so mexican') but I enjoy it. The food is fresh and I've never had to wait too long for my meal.
Great Service. Food just all right... I'm a big fan of good mexican food and believe that a fast food version of this probably isn't a bad thing at all. We tried the mariachi burrito, chips and guacamole and the Acapulco quesadilla. Food wasn't the best, not enough flavour in my burrito and the quesadilla had RICE (who Puts Rice in a quesadilla???)...Service was EXCELLENT; the guy with the accent (I think Mexican) that served us was awesome, very friendly. Also you have those great soft drinks (Jaritos) in glass bottles but no recycling bins!!!!!....
Would recommend Burrito Bar Rosalie; we had an awesome experience whit the service. However, food wasn't good enough. Just don't go there expecting a fine dining experience.
Had the pork burrito and my lady had a small chicken one and they were both too much for us. I don't know if they have noticed the previous poor reviews but I had no complaints at all.
Great Stuff! Quesadilla Awesome! Elote Great! Roasted Tomato Salsa Sweeeeet.......! I'll be comin' back!!
Average Mexican. Fairly average kind of meal - tasty burrito, but Mexican fries and corn on the cob weren't so great. It's only recently opened so hopefully they'll find their feet soon and things will improve.
This is fresh, fast food that has a bit of style about it. It's somewhere you can go for lunch or a quick bite to eat with friends, enjoying a relaxed atmosphere and a beer or two.
...informal dining, inexpensive food, and a focus on burritos. They also both have a condiment station and a pretty simple menu with dishes that use lighter, fresher ingredients in the 'Baja' style. This is a bit different to Rosa Mexicano over the road, where it's more of a formal dining experience and the dishes are a bit closer to 'traditional' Mexican. I wanted to try a few things to get a feel for the place, so I chose a small burrito wit
These guys rock! Simply thrilling tucka! Very very tasty. Do not miss out, a must do, no doubt. Thanks guys! :)
very beautiful Mexican food. I love the warm decoration of the restaurant. The menu has a lot of variety of Mexican food. Also great location on one of my favourite place in Brisbane. Car parking available on the back.
The best burrito bar in the city is back open 👌 the food is always made to perfection
