The best fish and chips we’ve had in Brisbane. Everything was cooked perfectly, not too greasy and full of flavor. Will definitely go back.

I like supporting small family businesses. It's really rare to see them still working hard. Read their facebook account. They say they have been their for 11 years. Far out that's awesome to hear. Honestly the Tabouli is the real deal. Made fresh by the older lady. She looks Greek found out they're lebanese family run.
Quick service everytime. Even though they're busy off their feets during dinner time rush. They're worth the wait. Fish has to be cooked well and hamburgers well they do take much longer. If you have a grilled fish. Make sure you ring them in advance. So you don't have to sit down or wait for too long. Overall still bloody good. Warning don't come around 6pm when the rush starts and expect food to come out fast. Ain't going to happen. Tip : Go there around 7- 7.30pm seriously I've never had to wait to long! :)
OUR NEW LOCAL. We came in for lunch today and the lady working is very nice! She was the only person working and we ordered lunch for a few people and she cooked it pretty quick considering! Food was fresh and delicious, love a place that understands what Aoili actually is! Only criticism I have is the beef burger patty had a fair bit of bread in it and would be better if that had less in it apart from that great place for take away. We have just moved to Ashgrove and think this will be our little takeaway ritual!
New experiment. First time having Fish and Chip, Chips is so nice so yummy love the fish Barramundy I will come back tomorow.
Decent Local Takeaway. Its fish and chips. And its nice. Just decent service and a tasty take away for a lazy night in.

Excellent Fish n Chips. Was looking for a decent local fish n chips shop, and I spotted this place one night while getting food from The Grove. A clean, no-frills family-owned shop that does what it does best... cooking and serving fish & chips. I hear the hamburgers are good too, but I order fish when going to a fish & chips shop.
Tried their battered Cod, which is a flagship order of mine when trying a new fish n chips shop for the first time. They did a great job of it! A large cut that barely fit inside the to-go container. Not only was the fish deep-fried and drained perfectly, but their minimum order of chips )a lot) were nicely cooked as well. I like my chips slightly brown with a crisp shell, and that is the way they came! Too oten a good fish & hips order can be ruined by undercooked, greasy chips. I'm hoping this place remains consistant!
Note that they do not have EFTPOS, so a visit to one of the nearby cash machines may be in order. Usually you will walk by one on the way from wherever you park to the shop. I will be going back to support this fine business, and try other types of fish, like their Snapper. Whiting, or Grilled Atlantic Salmon. I might even try a hamburger or a steak burger sometime too.
The best calamari you will ever eat! Flavoursome and never stringy. Everything else also delicious. Great prices and people very friendly. First ate here when moved to the area in 2002. Now live in Sydney and always visit when in Brisbane it is that good.

I pass here all the time so I called in on my way home for work with a hankering for hot chips, I wasn't disappointed! Amazing chips, potato scallops etc....
So good I drove 20 mins back a week later for fish and chips and wasn't disappointed, nothing good near me worth the drive. The mother and son team are lovely. Fast service.
Just beautiful fresh Barramundi!! My daughter and I really loved our fish and potato scallops - crunchy Yummy batter! And thank you to the lovely lady that served me for the extra Turkish delight! highly recommend so good!
Best place to get the freshest seafood for Christmas. There tiger prawns and Tasmanian oysters are to die for. Well worth the drive. If I could give 6 stars I would. Great food, great service and wonderful to support local as well.
