Jing Star Restaurant - Brisbane - Photo album

Quite disappointed, to be honest. After reading so many good reviews. The service is friendly. Environment is clean. Beef noodle soup is plain. Sweet and sour fish is weirdly soft. Bi-carb? The stewing seaweed, tofu, eggs. Eggs are over-cooked, seaweed got a really weird chemical taste, we couldn't
Authentic Taiwanese homecooked food and menu. The wait time is average 35 mins for both dine in and takeaway so make sure you have a reservations. I have been here for years and they seem to have cut some corners over the years - missing pineapples from the sweet and sour dishes . But itโ€™s still goo
Really nice home cooked Taiwanese food. Service was good, slightly slow on a busy Sunday but flavours were perfect. Serving sizes for main dishes were generous and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend ordering the scallion pancake and beef roll.
Great consistent food, always end up really full dining in this institution. Only downside is during peak, just expect a wait of up to 30 min so order early. Good food takes time
Very authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Generous portions. It's a small place so if you arrive at the wrong time, you may have to wait.
my fav Taiwanese restaurant. Consistent quality everytime. So delicious! I always come here when I visit from Melb. Recommend the 3 cups chicken, pickled cabbage W/pork, fried ribs or chicken, ginger shallot and beef stir-fry. So yummy!
The SanBeiJi (three-cup chicken) is the best ๐Ÿ˜‹ Very authentic Taiwanese food
This restaurant is really nice. It serves traditional Taiwanese food. I had scrambled eggs with prawns and minced shallots. It is good value for money and not very expensive. They can serve food really fast so don't have to wait for long. I will go back and try several other dishes next time.
