The place is located inside the University of Queensland, right at the back of Biological Sciences Library.
The interior is filled up with graffiti. Order at the cashier, take the food yourself to your table.
Ordered several burgers, including Babe and Daisy and New Yorker. Tastes similar to each other. However, the burgers and the chips were delicious, and not overpriced too.
Will probably come back here in the future.
A nice place to eat with your friends. The food is tasty enough to bring you back. They have varieties of burger. I tried new yorker and it was good, except for the bun which is a bit weird (in terms of texture ) for me but not a big deal. Food is still delicious
We had the big rush, hotel california and mad mac. They have a 2 for 1 promotion going on after 5pm on Mondays, which made the burgers cheap and really worth the price! The mac & cheese and bacon jam was exploding with flavour, but the beef patty was a little on the dry side. However, given its price, it was really worth it as the portions were filling. I would come back again, but only for the discounted burgers.
First of all: the El Diablo should be a menu staple.
The mushroom veggie burger can do no wrong, complete with haloumi, big slice of paprika, lettuce, tomato, aioli and heaps amount of basil pesto. Really packed at lunch but it's always worth it!
Love the Urge! This is my favourite place to get food on the UQ Campus (although I do love a Pizza Caffe pizza, but that is on the other side of the very large campus!).
Burger Urge burgers are the best, after eating these I no longer like Grill'd or similar, they are so bland. These ones are packed with flavour! My favourite is the chicken, bacon and avo burger, or the vege pattie one in a wrap. SO GOOD! And they have the best onion rings in the hemisphere! Gimme a large one of those for lunch any day.

Yaaaaaas. I like burgers. I like their sweet potato fries too! Its very cheap for the amount of food you get. Quick service even though the line always looks massive. They make a good lamb burger with cheese
These burgers are fantastic. I have productively spent many days at uni eating my way through the Burger Urge menu, sinking a few beers while I'm at it. I've often missed tutorials and lectures because I have developed such a pressing urge to go to Burger Urge for my fix, be it a Red Hot Chilli Pepper or my classic New Yorker. Worth noting, is that Burger Urge delivers a sophisticated form of burger construction - there are no sloppy fast food chain burgers here - and you can count your chickens that you will receive a burger that is stable in its structure, and will not end up half spread across your onesie. A relationship with Burger Urge can be a demanding one, more so than the relationship you had with your mate's mum that one time. There is no means of rehabilitating from the urge, it is something one must learn to embrace and live with once you begin. Once you have urged, you can never be purged.
Oh lord. These burgers (and don't you dare forget the chips) are the most delectable things you'll ever eat. Affordable even as a student, BU makes for a delicious, nutritious and yum-a-licious lunch!

Delicious!. Burger Urge offers some of the best food on campus. I have eaten there several times and have only had positive experiences. Not only do their burgers and chips always taste fresh and delicious, but their staff are always super friendly too. Ordering a combo meal is sure to satisfy any cravings during a long day at uni!
Great burgers with awesome sweet potato fries!. The blue vein burger was topped with generous amount of blue cheese and the beef patty was really juicy! I really liked their sweet potato fries option too!
Best burgers on campus! :). Burger Urge has a fabulous range of tasty burgers, which are perfect to get you through a busy uni day. Plenty of the Burgers fit into a tight student budget, and there are quite often great offers that make things a little cheaper too. And we can't forget the sweet potato fries and amazing sauces that are an absolute treat too! The staff are incredibly friendly and always do their best to get your burger out to you as quick as possible. :)

Great burgers that leave you wanting more. After getting bored of the average burgers from Maccas or KFC, I found this to be a delightful find. The burgers are much more tastier and fresh than others. I totally recommend this place for a great lunch or even a dinner. You will never be disappointed!!
Those Burgers. My friends and I always enjoy bonding over food and over the years burger urge has become our safe haven/go to place. When we want a good feed and an equally good place to dine we run to burger urge. They have an amazing range of burgers and other tasty delights to satisfy anyone's taste buds. I also find the staff to be kind and friendly. The thing that fuels my addiction though are those burgers. Hot damn they're good. Always look forward to the next time I dine at burger urge. :)
YUM!. The burgers are HUGE and juicy and the spicy sweet potato chips accompanied by creamy aioli is AMAZING! I will forever love burger urge and get excited every time someone makes the decision to eat there. Thank you :)
It's not the cheapest food but its certainly tasty!
Good eats, but overpriced. Its tucked away behind the biological sciences library, but is probably one of the best places to eat on St Lucia campus, UQ. Burgers are fantastic, my vegetarian, gluten intolerant friend loves the fries. However, as with all places at UQ, menu items are 1-2 bucks higher than identical branches off campus. So buyer beware. I wouldn't say it's all that student friendly price wise, I definitely couldn't afford eating there every day, but its a nice occasional reward or treat. Having said that, I would not specifically go there for burgers, if I had a craving. there are better and cheaper burgers at other Burger Urges in the city and Grill'd.

A good place to chill with your friends or have a casual conversation. I prefer the ambiance and the vibe inside. Burgers are not exceptional but competitively good.
Edit: Food is not as good now as it used to be the last time I went there in 2017. Was a bit of let down.
Delicious burgers, lovely environment and sitting arrangements, friendly staff. Only downside is it is a bit expensive particularly for students.
The burgers are delicious, price can be a little high especially being a cafe in uni. They also dont have condiments like ketchup available and charge for other sauces.

Burger urge is often perilously busy - but the place is reliable. They do make good burgers. Price wise it could be considered slightly more expensive than the competing food chains around it - but portions are large. Vegetarian options are almost invisible if they exist at all. All that being said - burger urge is a fun place to visit for lunch with friends. The store I visit had a makeover recently and has a much lighter more airy look than it once did.
