Review Cafe 63 - Brisbane

Damn that’s quite the menu they have going on here! Lots of various items to do from. The breakfast is great as is the coffee! They have a huge rear courtyard as well. 😎👍

Came in early in the morning for a spontaneous brekky. Awesome staff who go above and beyond and made our visit memorable. Our food was fresh and cooked with love. I would recommend the Mona Lisa (croissant) which came with a poached egg, smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce 🤤. Then complimented with a refreshing cup of cold, blended fruit juice. Loved the decor, lots of options to customise your meal and amusing menu item names. Overall an awesome and worthwhile dine in and would definitely be coming back! Thanks again!

Clearly under staffed, Tables were going uncleared for a very long time. The menus are way too long and unorganised, with names that have nothing to do with the contents of the meal. Maybe focus on making just a few things well, instead of many things average? Do you really need waffles, French toast AND pancakes on a menu? Maybe this place is for some people? If you like quantity and variety over quality. But it wasn’t for me. That said - the thick shake was tasty.

Great location, good value for money but food was very average and could have been anywhere. It was nice but could have been much better.!! Our breakfast feed was lukewarm and presentation could have been even more presentable than just routined slap together. Waitress was a lovely young lass who clearly lacked iexperience and appeared quite nervous, however she did greet us with a smile!

Awful service and experience. I was rudely declined water for my dog as they weren’t doing table dinning. I said more than once it’s okay we will get take away drinks but can I just get a cup of water for my hot dog. Then rudely got told to check in. When I came back to check in I was ignored by many staff members. I showed my check in and asked again for water and to confirm it was take away drinks, this staff member still couldn’t understand that all I need was a cup filled with water from a tap. And I just kept getting told they weren’t doing table dinning. Didn’t waste my money or my family’s time here as I was just so poorly treated and talked to.

Very nice breakfast! My meal looked quite small when it came out but once I put it all together it was more than enough. Nice cold table water provided. Freshly squeezed juice was great! Menu is too large but most items are reasonably priced. Only criticism would be that there was no salt or pepper on my table. Service was quite good. Will definitely be back!

I very much want to give the benefit of the doubt that staffing has been handicapped or there was an excessive sick leave 05/06/22 but there was terrible service seen in the manor of the server rushing our table and herself, lack of knowledge of the menu and ingredients (so bad as what lactose free milk was on offer and suggesting there would be a wait to find out) as well as not knowing what the names of orders were when delivering. We waited half an hour for hour barely warm coffees to be delivered and an hour total for our lukewarm meals to be brought out in a disjointed and lengthy order with no idea of whether they met the dietary necessities of party members. The food itself was ok, garnished in each main inexplicably with a slice of orange and a sliver or two of red pepper but ok partly for the fact of it being obviously cooked one order at a time then sent in batches. I might, MIGHT try another cafe63 but certainly never this particular one and never mind the fun but silly names for menu items that confuse even the staff.

A classic cafe 63. Enormous menu with funny names, plenty to choose from and I have to say, probably one of the cheapest cafes around really. Service was very friendly and the food came out very quickly (which is great when you have kids with you). I'm used to cafe 63 at Sinnamon Park which always a lot busier and the staff are a lot quicker at taking orders efficiently but this one has a more relaxed vibe. The decor is a bit weird - it looks like it used to be an Indian restaurant and they didn't remove everything when they renovated. The plastic grass and take cloths are very cafe 63 but I think maybe some sturdier chairs would have been a good investment. I feel like the spacing of the tables was a bit tight for our current covid-19 situation and I'd recommend they take another look at the layout - there weren't a lot of customers so it wasn't an issue but if all the tables were full I would have been like than 1.5m from the person behind me. I'll happily come here again with my kids - I think it's a great cafe and a part of a solid franchise.

A year has lapsed since Phuong Tran and I dined here so it is time for an updated review. We are greeted by a smiling waitress who promptly seats us. Owner Om acknowledges us with a friendly nod. Without further ado we place our lunch order.

Our lunch is the ever popular Green and Gold ($10). This Hamburger has a big Beef Pattie, generous Bacon, melted Cheese, fresh Salad and a hot crisp Hash Brown. The meal comes with a side of hot French Fries!

Every item in this meal is freshly prepared and served hot, a credit to the Chef. The Green and Gold provides great value and is delicious. Highly recommended!

Good food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The only thing I can fault is they really need to be more environmentally friendly by as they serve all the drinks in disposable plastics and plastic straws. This really needs to change at some point.

Came in on Mon 29 for my first visit and ordered the Boxing Kangaroo. The meal was awesome, filling and the price was very reasonable.
Thanks to Om and the staff for everything as they where very friendly and helpful.
Can’t wait to come back for a another meal.

I found this place to be pricey considering the food I got. I was really craving some pork belly so when I saw the Double R, I knew instantly I wanted to order it. Once it came though, I found that the sauce was sweeter than I would expect, and the portion size was pitiful. In all fairness, it was clearly stated on the menu that there would only be 6 pieces, but I honestly thought they would be larger in size. The chips that came with it were average; not fresh or crispy, and the same goes for the onion rings. It felt like it was fried earlier and kept under hot lightbulbs all morning.

Food is cheap and quite good quality for the price! Hard to choose, menu is absolutely huge. Staff are friendly however some of the outside is not shaded and was very sunny/hot for some other customers. Will be back.

Always find that Cafe 63 is handy for me during public holiday because it will open to trade as usual. Explored this branch in the morning. It was the first time that I saw a cafe 63 so quiet. Took a seat inside and order the half serving of Super Brat + side smoked salmon and a flat white. Flat white was as good as usual and I loved the slightly running egg inside with golden brown outside omelette. There were heaps of mushrooms and spinach with the additional fresh smoked salmon, which was a perfect brekkie for me. Cheers!

We decided to try out the Graceville Cafe 63 as we had a coupon deal. Have been to a lot of the others in this chain & it has always been quite passable fare. This time my order was the egg cake ( omelette) with fresh assorted vegetables & cherry tomatoes. The egg cake was nice & thin & there were lots of good quality vegetables & of course those complimentary fresh chillies always make me happy. Coffee was good on the second attempt. I ordered double shots, but first time around got singles & it was not strong enough for me

Cafe 63 seems to be a popular cafe franchise in Brisbane, they are everywhere. This Graceville outlet, is pretty popular with the locals. They have the most extensive menu for a cafe I have ever seen, there are 3 French Toasts variations, plus 4 pancakes & 3 waffles. Great if you love your sweet breakfast like me. I got the most basic version of the French Toast, Kayla, which is simply served with maple syrup and a garnish strawberry (that is 1 strawberry), with an add side of bacon. Average taste, but for $11, it was sufficient.

Cafe 63 is very much a cheap and cheerful franchise, and value for money-wise it is one of the best around.

Of all the cafe 63 establishments, this one is my go to, and my favourite, because the guys running it are super nice and friendly. (look they have been nice really in all the others i have been to, but this one just a little extra nice)

Food is cheap and cheerful as i say, you can get a brekkie burger for $6 or a beef burger for lunch with chips for $9.

When i come here, i don't expect a hatted chef cooking me the worlds finest kobe beef, i expect tasty food, friendly service and excellent value for money!

Tick Tick, and Tick!

Will be back next weekend! :D

I ordered the only vegan option; the ivo which was indisputably poor priced for its value. The "smashed avocado" tasted like it came out of a tube, the toast was bland, the spinach was old and the fruit salad had seen better days. It was served quickly, however the service overall was no more than satisfactory.

The staff is wonderful the food is fantastic had a fantastic time and the coffee is great I hope I come back here again and they got outside for kids to play and let the parents talk it's a fantastic place to go

Great service & value for money. The Deeps bithg breakfast was great and the coffee is well priced. For a franchisee it feels fresher and more relaxed than it's competitor the Coffee Club. Will definitely visit again.

This is our second visit. Huge choice of meals so something for everyone & very filling. Yummy value for money. Friendly staff & casual atmosphere

Two lattes on arrival. We ordered the Emirates - potato rosti, creamy mushrooms, grilled tomato, egg, bacon and toast. Mclaren - Turkish bread, poached egg, onion rings and hollandaise sauce. Megan - 4 pancakes with syrup and strawberry garnish. Easy and pleasing breakfast overall for two adults and a three year old. Quick and friendly service. Will return.

Had a nice lunch - staff were friendly and the selection of food was vast. If anything there was too much choice and we were worried it wouldn't be great but it was actually tasty. Banana smoothie was delicious, and my two year old daughter agreed & drank it! Fairly good value & decent portion sizes. Ideal fir kids as plenty of kid friendly options for all tastes.
Bat Trav
Probably one of favorite places to go rain hail or shine. Once you walk in your greeted with a friendly smile and shown a seat for you and your bandwagon of merry men. The menu selection is close to a short novel that will take you on a whimsical adventure and not leave you disappointed with the ending. I'm still yet to find a fault with any of the meals every serve is just the right amount of all taste bud sensations and delights. Pricing is at the right buget for size proportion. This cafe is a must for those that want to start their day with just that little smirk of happiness 😊

This cool cafe with friendly staff, coffee great
Lot's to choose from bacon & eggs tasty and great value for money, plate overflowing. Will come back again as quick and friendly service a standout.
I Make Food Into Nards
It looked and smelled so good I was three bites in until I remembered to take a photo.

Now in saying this I fear that they are expanding too quickly and will become the next coffee club, where their standards drop and the deliciousness will soon become mediocre. But until the time that they sponsor a soccer team or advertise 'avocado smash', I will keep going here and I urge you to do the same.

The 63 Cafe is quirky with the interior and menu, waitress were friendly but aloof . Ordered the Eggs Benedict and 1/2 Quennie ( small serving of pumpkin soup with turkish bread sticks), the eggs ended up soft boiled and the hollandaise sauce was too sour had to scrape it aside (at least the hollanddaise sauce is housemade) Pumpkin soup was creamy and the serving of the bread sticks very generous!

Very cute little cafe, a really wide range of food! The service was good and the food was not too bad! I would come again to try some other dishes.
We ordered the potato rosti with bacon, poached egg and creamy mushroom sauce. The other fish was pancakes with bacon, maple syrup etc.
