It had no flavour & very less ingredients.
Definitely not worth the price & they add surcharge on top of their final price as well.
Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. There are way better Asian restaurants nearby.

On the way home from networking I called to place an order for cashew chicken and special fried rice. The lady over the phone was friendly and took my order. The order took only 15 mins to prepare and be ready to pick up.
I parked in the small car park around the back and walked in to collect my meal.
The food was very tasty!!

Delicious Massaman Beef & Thai Fried Rice . Also enjoyed Curry Puffs and Spring Rolls which werent too greasy. The usual favorites -Reasonably priced. Very clean shop . Will be back .

Wow what Fantastic thai takeaway! Food was so delicious and fresh. Great value, well presented, lots of super fresh veggies, and such generous portions. I'll definitely be coming back here again! Also the range of vegetarian options is amazing!!! I'm soo happy to find a place that offers so many vege options. I got the green curry (which was beautiful but pretty spicy so beware!), the cashew stir fry, spring rolls, and pad thai. I'm very picky with food quality and standard, and was blown away by this place. If you're looking for great value takeaway, try this place out.

Without any doubt, this is the best Thai food in Brisbane. The order was on time and the containers were fully packed with quality food. A word of warning - when they say that a dish is spicy, they mean just that. It is VERY HOT. Thank you for a delicious meal. I will be back.

Awesome website. Ordered on 5th July and it was solid Thai food! We had just moved into the area recently and it looks like we have found our Thai restaurant.
Ordered the Panang & Massaman curries, Chicken Satay, Curry Puffs & Coconut Rice. All was very well cooked with the Massaman Curry advertised as their most popular dish and we can see why cause it was so good! Peanut Satay was also awesome and the Coconut Rice very well done as well.
Can't wait to order again.

Terrible Thai! Our dish had only 1 tiny cashew in it and rice was awful. They couldn't even get steamed rice right! Never again - don't bother.

We ate here last week and while the food wasnt terrible it definitely wasnt anything id rate highly. Service was very good but food was quite bland and a bit disappointing. Search for amazing thai continues.

I love this place. Good quality. Consistently good food. Always delivered on time. Love it. We order at least once a fortnight. My favourite is the peanut sauce with the chicken tenderloins.

Tried this place a little while back. Based on the good reviews on here I'd been hoping I might've finally found a decent Thai shop near my home in Chermside, buttt it was average and dissapointing. Not inedible, just not very authentic, average cuts of meat  etc. Not worth returning.

Fantabulous!. Found this place on Urbanspoon, came here to satisfy Thai cravings.<br/><br/>The server/ counter lady was very nice, pleasant and accommodating and tailored our order a bit to fit our appetite (coz my fiancee and I are pretty chubby). She came out with water straight away before we ordered and we didnt expect the prawn cracker entree, which was nice. We ordered beef Panang Curry and beef Green Curry with two servings of coconut rice but she recommended ordering one as it would feed two people, and to get the second if we were still hungry... she came back with one and a half servings just in case one wasn't enough but we ended up ordering the second rice anyway, and now we're full and bloated. Everything was incredibly delicious and the server lady was pleasant to conversate with. Will definitely come back here soon!

Beautiful Thai Dishes. I definitely recommend thai on rode to those who ask. Their unique style crispy chicken salad was so tasty that even non-salad eaters will enjoy it. The salad consisted of fresh vegies and tasty chicken pieces and came with a container of beautiful dressing that I mixed it myself at home. We also ordered two noodle dishes - pad si ew and spicy noodle and they too were great in terms of flavour and quality. All in all, fresh, tasty and satisfyingly portioned meals.

Thai food at its best. I found this little place and became regular a year ago thanks to Urbanspoon. I was not disappointed at all for the night that couldn't be bothered cooking. The menu choice was extensive and great value for money from a highest food safety rated takeaway. My family loves their mussaman curry , green curry coconut rice & pad thai noodles and lovely entrees... yum, yum, yum. Needless to say the portion sizes were generous especially the curry.<br/>This place is popular for locals and my neighbours too so expect longer waiting time on Fri and Sat.

Very watery!. We ordered 3 different dishes, 2 curries and a sweet and sour.<br/>While the food was fresh the sauces were so watered down that it spoilt the dishes. The sweet and sour was so clear and thin like soup with mo flavour.<br/>I Was very disappointed seeming we spent almost 70 dollars.<br/>We will be going else where in future where flavour isn't spoilt by people who are obviously cutting costs by adding excess water.

Lovely Thai food. This was our first time ordering from Thai on Rode. We ordered spring rolls, coconut prawns, yellow curry chicken and beef mussaman curry - very happy with the food - tender meat, great flavours, spring rolls were light and crispy. Definitely going back for more.

Average. I've had three very average take aways from here. One time I had the Thai Green chicken curry and the chicken was so overcooked you couldn't eat it. Rice is often cold. Massam is okay, but I've had a lot better. It's also quite overpriced.

Sawatdi khap,<br/>I recently moved to the northside of Brisbane and was a bit concerned since there were a few good Thai restaurants near me on the southside.<br/><br/>Thai on Rode was a great discovery and they have risen to the challenge of feeding my addiction to great Thai food. I have been working my way through their menu and have food all of their dishes to be authentic and delicious. So many Thai restaurants in Australia (understandably) serve meals that are generic and very shy of the authentic flavours that you get when you eat in Thailand.<br/><br/>Thai on Rode, simply delicious! Aloy mak mak!!!

Fantastic Thai. I love this place! Thai on Rode has become my local Thai shop for its great value, good service and delicious food. I wouldn’t say it would be somewhere you should eat in due to its size and location however as the local Thai takeaway I don’t think you could ask for better. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone who asked.

AWESOME. We finally got a chance to try our local Thai restaurant tonight and OH MY - EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! The food, service and parking was perfect. We even got to head over to the fish shop while we waited.

Love this place because if you ask for the food to be like Thai people eat they make it spicy. Not for the average Brisbane person. Great food and it feels like our own personal restaurant.

Love this Thai Takeaway. What a surprise, a convenient Thai takeaway spot in an area where good food is lacking. Portion sizes weren't huge, but food was so fresh and tasty to die for, especially dim sim, massaman curry with coconut rice, and garlic & pepper stir fried. Highly recommend it.

I'm not sure why this place gets good reviews, the food is ok aside from the fact they use dairy instead of coconut cream/milk, the place is tiny and although they say they cater for people with gluten allergies all they could offer us was a stir fry. There are much better Thai restaurants & takeaways in that area.

Very disappointing meal this evening, the chicken dish was very bland and not a sign of any herbs for flavour, and the pad Thai was very bland. Will not be going back. Honestly we could have cooked a better meal at hone for a lot less than $26.00.

New Thai gems in northside. Glad that they open here. Perfect for evenings when I can't be bothered cooking. They serve fresh Thai food and are always pleased to cook stronger heat level if I ask for it. <br/> <br/>Many of the dishes particularly Massaman curry, Spicy fried rice or House special stir fried vegies are a must to try. Had ordered Crispy chicken with cashew nut and Pad Thai several times...2 thumbs up!!! <br/> <br/>For those who like Chinese roasted pork belly, they offer stir fried with vegies or spicy stir fried too...yum..<br/><br/>Overall the food is better quality than other Thai restaurants I have tried. The service is very fast in early evening, slower at peak time would recommend to call in advance particularly on Fridays and Saturdays. Delivery is just $4 flat rate for surrounding suburbs. Love this place!!!
