We’ve been a few times recently and food has been consistently good. Decent pub grub, probably avoid the pizzas but the rest of the food is ok.
Dog friendly outside too.
Went on the recommendation of a friend and have since been back, fantastic service, a good selection on the bar and really well put together food. Expected typical pub food but was pleasantly surprised. Good ambiance, and has something for everyone.
Remember it was the Aussie day morning that I explored the attached café of this local pub. Very nice service and it was very comfortable to take a seat aside the pub and enjoyed my brekkie wrap. The wrap came in very hot temperature and I nearly burnt my tongue on the first bite. Coffee made of Vittoria coffee bean was superb and strong in taste. I must go back to explore the lunch or dinner in the pub next time. Cheers!
First time coming here & really liked it. Nice atmosphere. Food was great & the portions were massive. Decent prices too. Would go back in a heartbeat.
I would like to say a very big thank you to the amazing staff that looked after our quite large group of 50 on Saturday night for my son's 21st Birthday. From the initial discussions and booking with Josh, to the table set up, and service on the night is definitely 5 star! Now to the very helpful and patient Lena. Thank you! You were amazing, helpful, and proffessional and made sure the whole night flowed beautifully. The food platters were tasty and hot, and empty platters only mean one thing.. Good food! Many of our guests also commented on just how great Lena and the venue Oxford 152 was to host such a memorable and important night for our family and friends! Thanks again guys, just fabulous!
We went for the pub quiz and went hungry so tucked into some standard but tasty pub grub. I had the Portuguese chicken, which was juicy and flavourful. I had everyone stealing the sweet potato chips off my plate, so crispy, and I loved the chargrilled corn. The chicken parmi was huge and still was finished because it was so good. Those who had the steaks said they were cooked well but the sides available weren't as exciting so they wished they'd picked something else.
Definitely recommend the pub quiz, lots of fun rounds and mini games, and we're not just biased because we came 2nd!
Food is good, there was a mix up with our booking but they managed to fit us in. There has been a couple of times that we have seen security acting inappropriately toward patrons which is disappointing as it was once a great local place.
I have now been to 152 a few times, my partner raves about their steak. While the prices do appear to be on the steep side, they usually have some quality specials. Last night my partner had rump and ribs for $24.95, which is not bad. My go to the buffalo wings! Staff are friendly, occasionally there is a wait, however this is usually when the resto is full, which can be expected.
Pre christmas lunch. What a lovely surprise wife had crispy skin salmon with a delicious mash potato with pawn tortilla what a delicious combination. I went for duck and mushroom risotto, went to heaven, stupendous.
Staff attentive and allowed the salmon to be cooked the way wife likes..(probably over) I'd come back.
I wasnt expecting much by the previous reviews, but in saying that, my tastes can be different from others. Also the staff were great and other RVs had the staff as crap, so that can make a difference.
The 152 was a great pub and the recent changes have not really had an impact on the food. Prices are ok, food can take about 20-25 to come out but overall good for a pub lunch and a drink with a mate.
Never disappointed with Oxford 152 meals. You always get a good hearty dish cooked well and never stingey. Service is always very friendly. Can never complain about them. Tonight I had the slow Braised beef ragu with Pappardelle. Was beautiful. The beef just melts in your mouth..
This was the best fish I've had in a long time. Highly recommend. The skin was so deliciously crispy and seasoned and the fish was silky soft and fell apart. The entire meal and flavours were on point. Absolutely delicious

My friend and I dined here for a mid-week lunch. The service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant is well appointed and nicely air conditioned for the hot day.
I had The Graziers Rump with seasonal vegetables, mash and Diane sauce. Firstly, I was pleased that I was allowed to order mashed potato even though it was listed as an item for my meal. So, the flexibility to change the order was appreciated. My steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare. The vegetables were steamed just to right and not dry or soggy which is always a nice bonus when dining out. . The entire meal (considering I might call this dish traditional 'Pub Grub') was packed full of flavour, presented well and served hot.
My friend had the Braised Pork Belly with creamy mash, buttered sprouts, fennel and quince jus. She tells me her meal was divine also.
$29 a piece for each meal which I thought was a couple of dollars on the steep side. But, then again, I'm happy to pay when the quality is right, which in this case it was.
I've been eating here for 5 years. I always order the steak- it is cooked perfectly and very good quality. Service has always been exceptional. I tend to go on a week night when it is quieter. Very clean and great steak.
Dine & Dance. After hearing about friends who had a great night here a few weeks ago, my partner and I went along for a nice dinner Friday night. It had been a draining week for us, and the staff were great when we disappeared into the (jam packed) bar for a bit (when our food was ready), even tracking us down to let us know. Food was great and after we finished, we were back in the bar with a jug of sangria kicking back with the DJ - what a de-stressing way to end the week... a great meal and a few cocktails.
VDay Special. Thumbs up for valentines day special dinner. My misses was impressed with the rose and movie tickets. Thanks for a good night!
Staff were friendly , I had lamb shanks and they were cooked to perfection. We had a table of 7 and food out at same time. Bar service was slow, but it was Friday night.
Amazing. Had yet another amazing meal here. Staff always check our meals are okay and as always the chef delivered. We did have a time where we waited quite awhile on a Saturday night but we could see it was busy and the manager offered us a drink for the wait which I thought was lovely. Would recommend the fish of the days. Is always fresh and changes constantly. Staff always have a smile

The blondie serving us was enthusiastic and the meals were tasty. We recommend the Reef and Beef, Pork and Prawn Risotto. We always had drinks on our table which just added to the good night. #wewillbeback
Very tasty lunch -excellent service. Three of us ate at 152 on Tuesday and received excellent and attentive service. The meals were delicious and we were very impressed with the Chicken Parmigiana, Fillet Mignon and Battered Fish. The salads were tasty. Will definitely be back.

Impressed. My husband and I decided to have dinner at the 152 last night and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the signature 152 dish which was absolutely delicious and Pete had the rump with salad - also impressed! Portions are huge so it's real value for money. The service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely be back!
Not bad for first visit.. I see mixed reviews here. Wanted to check out Oxford st and decided to try out Oxford 152 for lunch only because it has been mentioned by friends who have dined there before.
My experience is fine. Service prompt to start. Meals are portioned well. Prices for the menu is reasonable however I can understand from previous reviews that if the dish isn't executed properly you need that kick in the service to offset that negative.
Ambience was great. I will come back next time.
Worth a look. Great cocktails and great for after work drinks but thought the meals were over priced for the quality received. Don't get me wrong the food was nice but nothing special for a $28 main and $9.50 glass of wine.

Great atmosphere and tasty food. We were a group of 6 that ordered separately, one of the meals took 15 minutes longer all the rest. Hard to find street parking as we didn't know they had a carpark (the staff will validate your ticket). All in all was a good evening out. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Love this place! Awesome atmosphere, great food, great place to meet up with friends/family. Love their outdoor area with massive screen to view sporting games. Nice big bar that wraps around for everyone whether your dining or drinking to enjoy. Bi-fold windows that open from the main street to inside giving that inside outside flow. Love the table ordering service aswel. Their pizzas are delicious! Highly recommend.
First time visit. Beer was cold. Ordered steak sandwich and chips. My son had the rump steak and chips. My sandwich was flavoursome however bits of the steak were tough and I couldn't chew it. My son's steak was great and he couldn't fault it and cooked to perfection. Good service too.
Amazing place. Bobbi is an absolute asset to this business! She is vivacious, knows her customers by name and has a great chat with you when you see her! Makes you feel like a good drink with friends. The vibe and overall feel of 152 is brilliant and love it being my local. What a lucky mob we are to have this place to have a cold beer at. Well down for origin this year too!!! Great atmosphere
Friendly staff, fast service, food is delicious:) I’m personally impressive on their outdoor space where dog friendly and make us very chill and relaxed
