Review Pablo's Mexican Cantina - Brisbane

Funny thing about dining at this place. We had dinner and quite satisfying and noticed no dessert. Ok, so we planned to go elsewhere. About to leave and then my wife sees a dessert dish going out to another table. ?. She then asks, do you have dessert, to a waitress? Yes, I'll get you the dessert menu. We've never been down sold (a new word in English and the restaurant business) in any restaurant before. Food was good, not exceptional, but a bit pricey. Maybe higher prices because of the suburb. Comparing to Newmarket of course.

Absolutely delicious. We didn't know this place was here. Found out via Groupon and purchased an $80 food voucher for $40. Bargain. Took the kids and ordered the Enchilada, Burrito, Chilli Con Carne, Sizzling Fajitas and Jalapeno Poppers and everyone was satisfied. Been twice in two weeks now.

Big Mexican restaurant in the burb. Food is tasty. Lots of waitress but they forgot to serve our entree until after mains. Serving is not large for the price.

Great place to have a decent Mexican food. Loved the restaurant set-up and Enchiladas were awesome!

So good, the best Mexican in Clayfield/Nundah area! The food is amazing, the staff is lovely and very helpful, absolutely loved it! Chicken enchiladas and churros are my favourites :)

Save yourself the hassle and go to Pepe's Newmarket instead. Better portions, better quality, better prices, better food! We thought we'd try something new and were thoroughly disappointed in the quality of the meals. I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone but would more so encourage them to go elsewhere for their Mexican culinary desires. Edit: The response below is a flatout lie, I have a receipt from delivery.

YUM! Tasty and filling, without the greasy after-taste you sometimes get with Mexican dinner. The place has Really friendly staff and enjoyable decor, which is combined with a varied but not overdone menu that has something for everyone. Reasonable drinks menu options too, including unlimited sparkling water for a small fee. Great value. Absolutely worth a visit!

Have eaten in house once and had take away several times. The food is always delicious and the portions are very generous. Also one of the best margaritas I’ve had ( and I’ve tried a few). The service is always friendly and when I dined in the Then place itself has a great vibe.

This image sums up the whole experience. Tbh we found it insulting. Legit the tortillas were straight off the supermarket shelves and the only identifiable flavour of the fajitas was in the hot sauce. Chimmichangas were cold in the middle so guess they were frozen before cooking??? Save your money honestly. Might as well just buy the kit from the supermarket because its same, if not better.

Maybe a little hotter next time, but very much enjoyed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most finger lickin’ delicious meal here. The Jalepeno poppers were yum! The beef in the sizzling fajitas was slow cooked and tender! It wasn’t just the food - the service from Tracy was great - super friendly and very efficient. All three of us definitely recommend this restaurant! We will be back again for sure! Five stars from us (we even ordered extra food to takeaway) 👍

Very friendly service and the food came out promptly however the servings were quite small given the price point. There was a lacking zest about the food

We decided to try this Cantina on a coupon deal & with the coupon it turned out to be worthwhile. Enjoyed the interior decor & the staff were friendly enough, the food however was another story. Just lacking in that Mexican oomph basically. No zest, no spice & pretty basic. My order was the Krazy nachos, which allegedly had a variety of 6 of the World's hottest corn chips. The presented dish looked pretty but turned out to be pretty dry lacking the familiar oozy cheese & salsa. A few black beans were hidden in the corn, a drizzle of sour cream & guacamole & that was it. One thing in it's favor it was hot & there was extra bottled sauces on the table if you needed more heat
