Review Fusion Cafe And Dessert - Brisbane

Great food. Limited options on the menu though. Parking can be quite troublesome during peak hours or during weekend nights.

Well . This is me on skid row again. How delightful to find a resteraunt thats affordable. Whatever criticism I have of this place pales in comparison to the value for money..the meal was cooked well and the dessert was nice. On an Austudy dollar... this place rates ... highly.. trying to feed the family at a decent resteraunt without burgers .. this place rates highly.. very happy I set foot in here..

Very cute little cafe and dessert bar, and nice and cheap too if you are on a budget and want something to eat. Coffees and Ice teas are amazing, a must try when you visit.

Lobsters and abalone were nice, I loved the choice of sea urchin, wagyu beef and sea cucumber. Would come to try out the lobster and abalone

Hotpot doesn't worth money. Not many good in the pot The service isn't nice.

Had lunch here just because I got to do something nearby. The indoor decor was worn out and the service was limited. The meals we had there were very average and I don’t even know how to describe them. The Japanese meal set basically included only a piece of salmon which might be actually cooked in the kitchen. All the other side dishes such as miso soup and wakame were like something I can buy in an Asian grocery shop.

Firstly they served Luke warm green tea. Then the meal came out. I had the deep fried pork ribs. Huge Chunks of raw carrot. And almost raw broccoli. Almost raw garlic in huge quantities sliced all over the meal.

Very very ordinary indeed

Won't be back

Below average - ordered the Beef Tendon noodles but it did not taste or feel fresh at all. It seemed like it was microwaved and added expired preserved vegetables from a jar with some thick sauce. My honey lemon tea was average, no tea infusion at all - just tasted like tap water and added some honey syrup. Had the banana split at the end which made up for it which makes up the whole 1 point in my rating. The decor could be better - the mood it sets the moment you walk in would have to be saddening rather than uplifting or anything remotely happy. I will come back - but for desserts only...and have it to go.

Just average is how I would summarise this eatery.

Previously I was a regular when I lived in the area a few years ago, I thought it was unfortunate that I moved away and had less of a chance to visit this once fine establishment.

When I returned just this week, I found the menu had decreased and did not have as much variety as before. Their drinks and desserts also decreased in variety and they no longer did the Chinese style desserts such as soy custard etc. I think I even questioned myself as to whether they were associated with the dessert shop in market square.

My party ordered the wagyu steak which was reasonable priced at $15.80 and it came with wedges and salad; the chicken stir fried with rice $10.80 and the beef brisket and tendon noodle also for $10.80. These were all average. For me I think the biggest disappointment was the lackluster service and menu which has fallen a long way from its glory days.

Being always on the hunt for a nice non alcaholic place to get drinks after dinner, I've wanted to go to the famous "maid cafe" at Robertson for a while. One evening we went there after dinner. . We got there at approximately 8.45, thinking it would be rather full like Sweet Treats. But it was surprisingly empty. I should have seen this as a sign not to go, but we forged ahead nevertheless. We ordered at the counter, and waited patiently for our drinks and cake.

Came here when it first opened; returned again today to find their decor seriously worn out, dirty and very unappealing. Prices were quite cheap when I paid over the counter prior tasting their food... Thought to myself "gonna be another dodgy one". When my wagyu steak came out I was surprised of their presentation! Steak was okay, lacked a little seasoning. Also their marinated chicken was excellent. The chicken was cooked perfectly, nice and moist with the right amount of spices. Very impressed with their lunch dishes. $31 between us two (including lemon coke) was well spent. Please update tour decor, 7/10 chairs are damaged, and the sofa seats have heavy stains... However, will I return again for a casual lunch? Yes :)

Ok.. Tried this place for the first time as someone had recommended this place for 'great dessert'. I ordered the Banana Split and unfortunately was disappointed. Although the size was very generous for the $$ you pay, the quality of the dessert was ok. I could have easily made it myself by purchasing from the supermarket.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing desserts!. I came here with a large group for dessert. The service was very friendly, although a little slow (although it was quite late at night). Portion sizes are very generous, particularly given the low prices! I can't say enough good things about the desserts. I tried the churros, waffles and ordered the chocolate fondant for myself. The fondant was incredible...it had such an amazing flavour with ample amounts of chocolatey-gooey sauce. It was decadent, but not too rich. The churros were equally amazing - crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The presentation of the dishes was lovely, and the accompanying ice-cream and sauces were very tasty. The drinks menu is absolutely massive, and all were delicious. I'd highly recommend for anyone seeking out a high quality dessert at a very reasonable price.

Nice dessert. I had dessert there last weekend. We ordered chocolate fondant and futti waffle.
The chocolate fondant was so tasty. When I cut the fondant into half, the chocolate was flowing on the plate. We mixed chocolate and ice cream together.I can can feel the heat from fondant and the cold from ice cream.the feeling was so great. And the waffle was good as well, the skin of waffle is so crispy and inside of waffle is soft and moisture. So impressive
Also the atmosphere is so good so romantic.
I will go there again definitely.

Nice quick & easy. My husband and I dine here regularly for simple, quick & easy meals that are also nicely presented & of fairly good quality. Service is always friendly and fairly efficient. Haven't been disappointed so far

Kawaii yet still Oishii. From the first time I visited the cafe, I fell in love with the atmosphere: the purple wall, the red velvet couches, the black chandeliers & the petite asian waitresses in lolita maid outfits... ah~ can't go wrong with that!

As the name "Fusion" describes, they serve western style food with an Asian twist. The price for the main meal is super cheap for what you get. For set meals you'll get a main dish, a sweet bread roll & butter, soup, salad/veges & your choice of either rice/wedges.

Some of my favourites are: French style chicken with cheese, chicken fillets with salsa & the wagyu beef burger.

I loooooove their roast milk tea with tapioca (pearls).

They also have a wide range of cakes & desserts!

Also, if it's your birthday, they'll give u a free cake & icecream!! YAY!!

The venue also serves dishes, such as Japanese, Chinese, and western inspired meals, but are more renowned for their desserts. There were a few other westerners dining when my friend and I arrived. We ordered the tiramisu with green tea ice cream, and the black forest cake. To wash down the sweetness, my friend also ordered a hot pot of roasted hazelnut

Fusion Cafe and Dessert is a new eatery at Robertson, just a few steps from Nathan Campus of Griffith University . Its unique decor is quite shocking: violet coloured wall paint with hot red couches and black crystal chandeliers. Young Asian waitress wear
