Just moved to Brisbane from interstate and couldn’t wait to try Taco Bell. I really love this fast food chain. Visited
3 times in the last 6 weeks. The staff are friendly, happy, helpful and make visiting a great experience. The free LAVA taco today at King George Square was a fun and happy experience. Taco Bell is definitely better than the other Fast Food options.
They put a taqeuria up there! Come! Take it easy for a little while, you could meet someone you like! Staff are good, especially Mark, he dresses suave, you could make a neat customer, it'll send you to the moon!
Good value for money overall if it’s made the way it should be. Sometimes it can just be mostly full of lettuce so just have to take your chance. Good option for vegetarians as it has a really good portion of black beans!
This place is still busy but the cashiers are super fast at taking orders so waiting in line didn’t seem that long. Food was ready probably 5 mins after sitting down it was nice and fresh and tasty for how cheap it is. Definitely coming back. The only negative is the crunch wrap was not crunchy but none the less it was super fresh and moist 👌
Exactly what I expected in terms of flavour. Menu wise I was disappointed with the very short menu, nothing like the extensive ones in America. But they did have my fave dishes: Crunchwrap supreme and cheesy Gordita crunch. So happy they brought their original cheese sauce recipe, I was worried they wouldn’t. Price point was great and it’s licensed so you can have a beer to accompany your Gordita crunch.
Thought we would venture down and try the new taco bell. We drove in and the line for drive through was full. Could see inside and the people were 10 deep by 6 wide. Very busy and to be expected for the only 1 in Aus. Waited about 25mins to order then another 10 or so for the food. Tried the churros. Very small but extra delish. Choc sauce wasn't what we expected. Runny and bland. Crunch wrap supreme took the winner dish. Soft yet crunchy and very Mexican. The cheesy beef burrito maybe give that a miss. Soggy and flavorless. Supreme nachos were nice but eat straight away as we drove home and chips were soggy. Our fault not taco bells. Quesadilla snack wrap was nice and simple but done right.
Staff were super friendly and very happy, considering how busy it would be all day they are doing well
If your thinking of trying it definitely give it ago. But if you would like better quailty then go to Guzman and Gomez
Went here for a quick dinner. We ordered the Cantina Power Bowl, Stacked Nacho Supreme and a side of regular chips - all for just under $22.
The Cantina Power Bowl was good, tasty chicken and salad options with a twang of spice. The Stacked Nacho Supreme was standard - there was not much of a salsa and beef was a little dry. The meals easily fed two adults satisfactorily.
Service was friendly - there are so many staff available - we were promptly met at the door with a menu. Food came out less than five minutes. There are options for indoor and outdoor seating but we ordered ours as a takeaway.
Overall, good Mexican takeaway - perhaps just behind GYG and Zambrero because of their lack of apparent ethical and social outreach (I.e. free-range chicken available at GYG, and Zambrero offers free meals to the disadvantaged).
Taco Bell is the best fast food restaurant I have eaten at, although with the popularity of this restaurant it isn’t exactly fast food. The food was nice and fresh unlike other fast food restaurants such as MacDonalds. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the menu is easy to understand. Due to the popularity of this restaurant it took 40 minutes in the drive thru and the walk in line was longer.
Amazing food. Loved the nachos and would definitely recommend the crunch wrap supreme the churros and the chocoladias because they all tasted heavenly!
Well I was expecting some really horrible results after reading the whinging fools who complained about wait times after waiting line for excessive periods....🙄
But what I got was pretty good! I’m a GyG fanboy and any rookie who goes for excessively cheesed and salsa’d plates passing for Mexican or even Tex-mex, can just beat it. You suck, and Doritos might as well be Mexican to you. Admit t.
Anyway, was the best Mexican food? No. Was t the same as Taco Bell in America? No. But what the hell does that have to do with it?! It was a tasty little burrito and came with drinks and fries for less than my favourite place (GyG) and the quality sat just where it should for that price.
It came out quick too. What else can I say?
If you complain about lines - you’re a moron.
If you complain about quality from a fast food place - you’re a straight up drain on society.
Solid 4 in the realm of fast food available after dark.
The wait is a long time the service is good the people are great the food's ok outside and inside looks great keep up the good work the music is ok and the price is right😃🍕🍟😄
The wait is long ! The hype is still there. Probably. Good half hour until we got food.. drive through looked a lot quicker. Good! Service at the counter. Supreme crunch wrap we ordered with mince beef was average. Layers of wrapped bread and not enough filling. Chips are good. Gordita Taco’s we ordered in chicken and pork and pork was the best filling, overall would come back for these. Churros are good for $3 with choc dip sauce. Chocolate Quesadilla was a bit overcooked would not try again.

Went back again now that it has died down. This time I had the Catina power bowl. Yummm! Was the perfect combination of rice, chicken, black beans, avocado and sour cream and tomatoes. I think this will be my go to menu option when I come here.

I looked up prices and couldn’t find any, so here are the prices guys!!
We waited an hour for our food. Take my advice and go through drive through, it is a lot quicker. Other wise you’ll end up waiting an hour to get a parking spot, another hour in line and then another hour for your food so it’ll be three hours in total. So one hour through the drive through! GO TO THE DRIVE THROUGH!
Service is amazing. They are lovely staff, very accommodating and take their time to go through the menu with you, explaining what’s in what, what it takes like etc.
The nachos were good. It’s not amazing but I did enjoy it and would go back to have them again.
My partner loved his tacos. He says they’re the best ones in Brisbane and are better than Guzman y Gomez and Salsas.
The cheesy quesadillas are super bland. The seasoned tortilla chips are ok.
So my conclusion is it isn’t worth the long wait, but when it dies down I would go back.

Ok so had my first Taco Bell and dale had his first in a very long time....it was okay.... Got in quite early at 9:30 and there was no line outside (there usually is a very long line). From what we know from the US Taco Bell, it’s supposed to be very good value for money but that doesn’t seem to be the case here, although it is at par with the other fast food outlets here in Australia (meal costs around $10 with chips and drink) but at least they redeem themselves with their unlimited drinks. Taste wise - it was okay. I ordered the crunch wrap and it was a good sized wrap.Nothing impressive or out of the ordinary that I can’t recreate at home. I think the tortilla chips should’ve come unseasoned -my personal preference, But there doesn’t seem to be an option for it. Dale had the nachos supreme and said it didn’t taste like the US ones (nachos del grande) which had beans and unseasoned chips and said it didn’t taste the same, nothing to rave about. Also, there are no packets of sauce (mild,medium, hot) that’s available to take however you can ask for sauce on the side from the counter. The silver lining however came in the humble form of their crunchy taco ($2.50) which is everything you expect from a tasty beef mince taco, one is definitely not enough - yumm. All in all, it wasn’t a bad experience but it was a bit underwhelming. If you haven’t tried it, I suggest you give it a go. If you’ve already had it in the US, adjust your expectations as it is adjusted to the Australian market.
Most people would have heard by now of the closing of Sizzler in Annerley, and the much anticipated opening of Taco Bell instead, being the first store in Australia for 12 years since their last departure. With the exciting public opening on Saturday, I was really pleased to go to the VIP pre opening launch with the ever popular Meatballs And Beef Cheeks .

I've arrived on Sunday morning around 10am and there were about 10 or so people lining up outside. We browsed through menu that staff handed to us while waiting and soon we were inside the shop to order.
Exterior and interior looked pretty cool with enough inside and outside seating areas.
Order went smoothly and after waiting for five minutes or so friendly staff brought us food to our table outside.
I ordered crunchwrap supreme meal with option of steak + mild which comes with tortilla chips or hot chips + soft drink of your choice.
One bite into crunchwrap which is genuinely crafted in shape it was filled with wonderful combination of meat, lettuce, tomato and cheese... Yummmmmmm. OK this is taco bell. This is supreme. Thanks taco bell for coming to Brisbane.

Food was tasty! Didn't expect the huge taco-wrap-dumpling-looking-thing to taste that good. Loved that there were chips or taco shells inside to give it that crunch.
But... I was quite upset with the unmelted cheese on the taco. Apparently it's always been this way. But it would taste 1000 times better with melted cheese. It's probably to streamline operations :(
Anyhow, we will be back for some burritos
Been there 20+ times. They have NEVER got my order wrong. They have NEVER made me wait more than 5 minutes for my order. They have NEVER given me poorly constructed food. EVERY SINGLE TIME the service has been exceptional.
There are other fast food outlets controlled by Collin's Foods Australia that could take a leaf out of the Taco Bell handbook. Especially ones that start with K, have an F in the middle and end with a C.
It was great. The food was good too but it all tasted the same. For example the crunchy taco supreme and the crunch supreme (I don't remember exactly what it's called). They also didn't give sauce with the chips but that's minor.
Everybody was really nice and the food was made quickly.
The atmosphere felt nice and open. We sat outside, although I'm sure the inside feels the same as I've sat there before.
Never disappoints unless you're late. Delicious and healthy cheat meals for me. Gotta love the food, and the staff are super nice. 💯
Replacing the old sizzler, rip sizzler. Taco Bell was good, tasty food and the fries I would say is the best part. Seasoned and tasty ! We got the quesadillas and got unlimited drinks refill!! Very delicious food, friendly staff and I enjoy ringing the bell as everyone cheers as you leave ! Would recommend ! Definitely will be back!
Legitimately love this place, nothing feels as good as refilling your drink for the drive home. The orders are consistently quick and the food is tasty every time. Only downside is the toilets are proper feral, not just haven't been cleaned since the last person but stained toilet bowls kind of dirty ick
Expectations were low when entering this venue. But I was pleasently surprised. Customer service was excellent, knowledgeable, and helpful. Food was quick to be made. The flavours were there, and for a cheap taco it was as expected. The seasoned tortilla chips were the star! I'm dairy allergic and could easily custom menu items and find allergic infor to safely eat here.
