Kopitiam Street Food Bar - Brisbane - Photo album

Contrary to the other review I found on this page, I found the staff very friendly and the service excellent. I enjoyed the food very much - I had some of their Yum Cha dishes and the slow-cooked Braised Potato Chicken Rice. It was a nourishing, subtly-spiced and pleasant dish with melt-in the mouth
The 2 dishes we ordered which were vegetarian curry and Adam fish curry were crap. Both dishes had no flavour, chilli or any authentic nature about them. I've lived in Singapore, spent time in KL and my wife is from Singapore. This is not Kopitiam food. Run away as fast as you can. Service e was o
I had the Malaysian roasted chicken rice. It was nice, not like the one I tried in Malaysia which was very dry. The flavor was fully absorbed inside the chicken.
The food served here is just authentic enough to sate your Malaysian/ Singaporean cuisine cravings. However, the taste is middling and unlike most Singaporean hawker standard.
Staff nice and friendly. Place very clean. Food wasn't I expected. I had coconut fish with rice and it was not tasty and spicy. Not really authentic or special.
Visited the restaurant recently, friendly staff, reasonable prices, Malaysian Chinese chief. We definitely enjoyed the experience and opening late for last minute dinner out.. I'm sure will be back again.
Quite a good place to eat cheap but nice food. Service is friendly but better to visit by midday to try more options. Things like Nasi remak often sold out by evening.
Friendly and fast service. Enjoyed the braised potatoe chicken rice with house made ice tea. I will visit for lunch again.
