The food quality at this business could be looking up - its just changed hands again and is now being run by a young Asian couple so I figured it might be worth seeing is anything has changed for the better. Up front though I wasn't keen to try any seafood - because it was so damn bad before. I got a burger with the lot - and - went back three days later and got another one - It really was that good. No longer mediocre like the burgers made by the previous owner - the burgers are right up there with best I've ever had anywhere, pretty damn good when I only live five minutes away. I wont be going near Hungry Jacks again.
I'll suss out the seafood over the next couple of weeks and report on that too. Like I said, they are completely new owners ( a young Asian couple) and very friendly as well. A complete turn around from the previous jerk.

We regularly buy the chips from this place as I think they are the nicest chips in the area. The family pack is reasonable value and the fish is nice, their burgers are good too. Their staff is always friendly and there's plenty of seating and a tv to watch while you wait.
Very tasty fish and chips, the crumbed cod is perfect- not too oily, not too dry. The chips are also crispy and delicious with chicken salt. Prices are reasonably cheap and the staff there are very friendly. Would recommend!
As good or better than most every other fish and chips. Really a 4.5 star. prices are reasonable, it's an airy shop with seating inside and out making it pleasant to actually eat there.
Sea Otters is our go to for fish n chips. The food is fantastic and super reasonably priced. Everything we have tried has been fantastic.
My husband took me there for the calamari. Was not disappointed. Large pieces of lightly crumbed calamari and not too chewy. Also not very oily. Best calamari I have had so far, was worth the drive from Logan.
Best darn fish and chips in the area. Super friendly. Great variety. Lovely.
