Sitar Indian Restaurant - Brisbane - Photo album

This is my favourite Indian in Brisbane! I order the Palak Paneer and it is unlike any other. Even other Sitars in Brisbane do it differently. The naan is always fresh and fluffy, with a slight crisp on the bottom. The saffron infused rice is always light and fluffy. Highly recommend!
Disappointing. Chicken tikka was probably the blandest I’ve ever had. The malai curry was pretty average too. Very bland and tasteless overall.
Ordered food from Sitar restaurant in Ashgrove. Food quality is very low. Ordered Chicken tikka pieces, very dry, no flavour or yoghurt. Lamb patties dry, no flavour. Both cold straight from the fridge and worried I will get sick eating it. Unfortunately would not recommend at all.
If there is a first and last time, this would be it! Simple dish like palak paneer is made with extremely small cubes with a tasteless yellow milky paste (supposedly cashew it seems) and spinach just thrown on top. Rice was super dry and old. Naan was hard and no garlic or butter. The chicken had so
Amazing food. Mr. Rahat, the chef is a great person to talk to...anyway, I am a bit biased to say that as we both are Bangladeshies...after the dinner we shared our thoughts and beliefs. I believe, I am going to dine there very soon again.
Thoroughly enjoyed the take away meal I purchased as a first time Indian food eater. Tasty and filling. Great service.
My favourite Indian food in Brisbane, haven't eaten in but looks lovely. Great takeaway. Standard sort of prices. Love the location tucked away just off Waterworks Rd.
Butter chicken has a thick creamy texture and is made upon ordering. Tandoori chicken takes an additional 40 minutes to prepare but it's a must have if you're visiting this restaurant. Highly recommended
