Had a Yum Cha lunch in a group of three at this restaurant while we were shopping at the nearly retail shops. It was not a busy day but the whole restaurant was nearly 80% occupied.
We did not choose the AYCE but ordered a la cart dim sims. When all the dim sims were on the tables, we firstly noticed their portions are generally bigger than those serving in Sunnybank’s restaurant. Immediately, we liked to taste them and the results were: never had the mussels so bouncing in texture and the beef tendons and beef stripe are both tenderised. I think they will be the a-must orders for my return visit. YUMMY!

After I read Joe's review of this restaurant and then I realised that my first review was one and a half year's ago, it should be the time for the second review. Took the advantage of Labour Day's holiday and re-visited this restaurant for Yum Cha in a group of three. We arrive around 11:00am and it was only half occupied. Noticed the additional BBQ station at the entrance, which is a good idea to attract locals fans of BBQ meat such as roasted duck and roasted pork. Service was very efficient with friendly attitudes. I discovered that the portions of Dim Sims seemed to be bigger than last time, which is good and definitely an advantage to keep the business going well. In fact, Dim Sims such as chicken feet, prawn dumplings, siu mei and sticky rice with chicken were all up to standard. It is glad to see that they keep their production in consistent. Wish them all the best in business! Cheers!

This newly opened Yum Cha restaurant is running by Vietnamese Chinese. Tried the Yum Cha brunch yesterday. I could see the service is not sophisticated but they did try their best to run the show. Venue seems quite spacious and vibe is not bad. One thing much appreciated was the Dim Sims' standard, particularly the steamed pork spare ribs, Glutinous rice, mixed beef offal and the egg tart are the best of the same kind that I have not tasted satisfactory for a while. They are doing much better than the other competitors who have been running Yum Cha for years such as the Landmark, Golden Palace etc.....Frankly speaking, I understand that there are some negative reviews on this restaurant but it may be the teething problem. Give it another go, I am sure that they are improving....
My family of six had yum cha buffet at 9am on Sunday. Found the food hot, fresh and delicious. The service was lovely to my family. Would definitely come again.
Another big family sitting, 2 tables again 1 for kids and 1 for adults.
Service is non existent, and yes this place is buffet only. But kids under 70cm eat free.
You get your normal range of yum cha, plus extra fried foods and Chinese items. Fried chicken wings, satay stir fry. Plus fruit.
This place is self service, except if u need to order drinks.
Staff clear tables at a leisurely pace.
If you want to eat your heart out with dim sums, rice rolls and other yum cha dishes this is the place. All you can eat.
In summary, don't expect great customer service, if u like yum cha give it a go at least once. But don't order siu long bao.

I'm always hunting for good yum cha in Brisban so even though there were so many bad reviews I had to try it myself.
To keep it short, quality of yum cha varied depending on which dish you order.
Ha Gao (prawn dumpling), siu Mai was ok.
Siu long bao was terrible. Wrapping skin was broken which means there was no soup inside. I mean siu long bao without soup is just nothing but disappointment.
On the otherhand, pork spare ribs and custard bun was very nice and I really enjoyed those.
Now...about customer service, they were prompt and all dishes came out pretty quickly. Except the fact that they did not mention that one of the dish we ordered run out until we waited for 20 min and asked what was happening!
As for service charge, it is now written at the bottom of menu as well as pricing of each dish. With all dish ordered it came to around $30 in total which I think is a reasonable pricing.
The food was amazing we had pork belly, soft shell crab and cran and pork dumplings. The pork was melt in your mouth. The waiters were attentive there was some language difficulties but that was easily overcome using numbers on the menu. The service was good very friendly. For an easy really nice local meal it is a good option.
Went there for Chinese New Year Eve dinner, as well as yum cha within the last couple of weeks. Was very impressed with the quick and fantastic service at dinner. Food was actually really delicious too. We ordered the live fish, and it was really fresh and deelish. (Well, that's the point right?). We ordered lots of dishes and they were all really good. Other than the live fish, I would also personally recommend the 7 palace tofu and garlic prawns.
Yum cha on the other hand was pretty average. There were not many patrons that morning and we ordered off the menu. The food that arrived were not piping hot but rather lukewarm, which really wrecked the whole culinary experience for us. Hopefully they will improve on that.
I would definitely return for dinner, but might avoid for yumcha unless there is a bigger crowd. (Guessing the food stayed around waiting for awhile before they got served).
I thought it was a good Yum Cha and went back for lunch the next day.
Food was great and fresh
Need to make their prices for yum cha clearer as it seems to be a bit all over the place, there may be a service charge? If so it is not mentioned anywhere and the tier pricing is not noted anywhere.
The wait staff on both occasions were attentive.
I thought the meals were good value when it came to the end bill but no idea of how they came up with the figure???
Need to work on just some of the basics.
Will be back and will be recommending to friends.
this is a gigantic restaurant in inala serving all you can eat yum cha for a set price. i love it that they have a notice that says if food is not finished a surcharge will be applied, which stops food wastage - great idea!
and yes, the yum cha is good, we really enjoyed the food!
I come here for my roast pork and duck. Delicious. The crackling is Crunchy, meat is moist. If you like your roasted duck with a head you will be disappointed but that's the only bad thing I can say 😂
Worth to travel for yum Cha! Real Chinese yum Cha flavours. Very impressive & delicious!
A quick and easy way to get your Yum Cha fix when you're in the area and want to avoid the crowds in Sunnybank. Had all my favourite dishes, done well. Some dishes weren't hot and fresh but then it wasn't a busy day, which can also be a good thing as you can always get seated straight away. Staff can be a bit pushy sometimes even after you say you don't any.
