We live in Clayfield and went to Kanishk when it first opened - it was excellent...however over the last couple of years the service and quality of food has deteriorated immensely. We decided to take friends there tonight and had the worst experience. We ordered mild butter chicken for my daughter

Extremely disappointed. Ordered the advertised on the front door "best butter chicken in Brisbane", which it was most definitely not.. The chicken was very dry and had similar taste to Rogan Josh, not the distinct creamy flavour at butter chicken should have. The Spinach and cheese naan had no chees

They advertised "BEST Butter Chicken In Brisbane" so I had to try it. It was actually the WORST Butter Chicken I have ever had so far. A Ready-To-Eat frozen meal is better than what I ate from there. Do yourself a favour and eat elsewhere unless you want to only admire the decor.

Service was average. Food was good. Naan bread was too thick and it was semi cooked. The fish entree was disappointing. Chicken tikka was like chewing rubber. Not a good experience let along a great one.
