Got the original crispy chicken burger ($13). The chicken and the slaw weren't as flavourful as I would have liked them to be (they were jusstt on this side of bland) but the chicken was very succulent and crispy. It also meant that it wasn't too salty. Overall, a good meal.
I have read that you have to try the buffalo crispy chicken burger so that’s what I did. It was delicious. And spicy. I got the burger, fries and soda pack. With chipotle mayo Of course. Amazing spiced fries too.
Had these guys cater my birthday. Couldn't be happier with how juicy and tender the chicken was. Those sliders were kept in your mouth, perfect bites! And the buffalo cauliflower had a massive kick to it. Some of the best catering I've and at a function! Will be coming back regularly when I need catering for events!
Finally tried this place out after hearing so many good things about it! Went in on a quiet Wednesday night so was good to get our order out pretty quick. I ordered the Original Crispy Chicken Burger with a side of fries and the BF ordered the Two-Piece Buttermilk. I typically avoid chicken burgers as I find the idea of them to be quiet dry, so I was pleasantly surprised biting into my burger. The slaw, the sauce, the bun and then of course the CHICKEN 🤤🤤 melted all together with every bite. The fries were really good too, perfect amount of seasoning and crunch 👌🏼

NASHVILLE Chicken Burger was the bomb!! Great flavours. Fried chicken was well cooked (nice and crispy).
I have had blue cheese sauce and dressing several times before, but this one tasted/ smelled a bit funny. But other than that the Chicken wings and Nashville burger is recommended (if you can really handle HOT!!).
Loved this place, a great take away style burger place. The buffalo cauliflower was so good as was the veggie burger and chips. Good service and reasonable price.
We came here for our work Christmas get together. We was roughly 20 of us. I got thier meal deals. Burger chips and beer. I got the buffalo chicken burger. I loved their burger. Super crispy and juicy. The buns were delicious. The chips was very chrispy. The beer was goat on tab which was totally fine for me. Its usually nerve wrecking to see how they will manage a large group but they managed it really well. All of us received our meals on time. I will be back.
Great service, simple menu with an absolutely incredible fried chicken burger. Crispy, spicy, juicy and amazingly balanced. Service is great to!
Why should we restrict a food type to just one day of the week?I mean… tacos should be able to be consumed every day, not just on Tuesday 😉On Monday, Lucky Egg sells this delectable Mexican fare. Pork TacoOrange Beer & Guindilla braised shoulder with pork crackling and pineapple habanero salsa Fish TacoCrispy battered snapper with endive slaw & jalapeno mayocrem Vegetable TacoCrispy fried mushrooms with mushroom & bean paste, guacamole & chilli
I was a vegetarian for 7 years before I discovered Lucky Egg. I swear I spend like 40hrs a week at their new store lol. I've tried everything on the menu and it's all amazing.

Absolutely fantastic food, my partner and I are impressed every time. Staff have been friendly each time I have visited and the store is always absolutely immaculate!
Plenty of tasty veggie and vegan options to chow down on, one of the best burgers I've ever had. great food and friendly service, one of the best places in the valley to eat
Best place ever! Everything tastes sooooo good! No matter what you feel like your needs will always be satisfied, the chips are always my favourite plus how amazing the staff are
Legendary staff, amazing food have come a long way since the booth in a club and it’s great too see, chicken, chips and even vegan options they cover everything!
Best chicken in Brisbane by far! Amazing burgers, great wings, fresh fries, awesome music playing constantly and wonderful staff. Plus the shop is super cute.
10/10, I had lucky egg for the first time a few months ago and I find myself constantly going back for more. Best spot in Fortitude Valley for food by a long shot.
Best fried chicken this side of the brown snake. Always fresh, served quickly and the new location is fantastic. I shall continue my long tradition of eating at this establishment once a week.
In my opinion the Buffalo Crispy is the best chicken burger in Brisbane, if not Australia. Paprika chips are addictive. New store is shiny and fancy.
Bloody delightful. This place is every burger lovers wet dream, chicken is succulent, buns are toasty, cheese is tasty, sauce hits the spot. Treat your taste buds to a good time.
Consistently best fried chicken burgers in Brisbane. The buttermilk Fried Chicken is also very good (probably only matched by Momo's in Runcorn on a good day) New location is really nice, bright and clean.
In my opinion better than Belle's in Melbourne that is international renowned and right up with Gus' (Memphis) for some of the tastiest fried chicken I've had.
What’s with the Korean Fried Chicken trend at the moment? Is it just me or am I late to the ‘Kfc’ party! Either way, I have just come across the trend and it’s quickly becoming an addiction. That said, Lucky Egg is up there as some of the best I’ve had thus far and burgers seem to be the popular way to enjoy this tasty chicken.
Me and my mates have been loyal devotees since the beginning of lucky egg because the food is always fantastic and very consistent. Went in tonight and they made a mistake for the very first time but gave our group unexpected free stuff to make up for it! Lucky egg or bust.
Lucky Egg is my favourite fried chicken in Brisbane (and I eat a lot of fried chicken). Wholeheartedly recommend their two piece buttermilk (and make sure to get their great Chipotle Mayo on the side!)
Lucky Egg has never disappointed me.
Their burger list is small yet amazing. (Buffalo crispy chicken my fav)
Special mention for Dorito Popcorn chicken.Must Try if you happen to drop by this place.
Only downside of visiting this place is the long waiting time.(esp on Fridays)
This little shack is located in the entrance to a Valley night club. So when you visit during the day time the place is not very busy. But this means there is more than enough seating to choose from. A little light on staff though. I had the buffalo crispy burger (yummy!) and the Doritos popcorn chicken (not as good as you would think). Not mind blowing stuff but it is great to have another fried chicken option in the Valley!
The Buffalo Crispy is damn good! Service is a slow, but can't expect too much from one person doing it all on a Thursday lunchtime. Definitely worth your time.

I've been trying to eat at the Lucky Egg for over a year - ever since someone told me they have the best Chicken Karaage in Brisbane.
The first two times we were turned away due to long lines, but we were given certificates for 50% off burgers or wings (which of course I left at home on the refrigerator).
Then I went to order via UberEATS, but learned that you can't get the Chicken Karaage through UberEATS.
Anyway, tonight was the night and I ordered the Chicken Karaage and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Thigh.
Unfortunately, the Chicken Karaage missed the mark. The seasoning and texture just wasn't what I look for in Karaage. For me, this rated a 3. Interestingly, I brought an order home and our house guest, who is usually extremely picky, loved it.
The Buttermilk Fried Chicken Thigh was great. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside - I would definitely order this again. This rated a 4.
Doesn't quite look like the pictures does it? Having said that all dishes were full of flavor. The chicken burger in particular was a wonderful combination of fried chicken, cheese, buffalo sauce and bun.
I thought I'd written my review for here but it's gone. Had the chicken burger with cheese and pickles- it was good. We also got the buttermilk chicken- that was heaps good.
Really like that they are making use of a space that would otherwise be designated to nights only- more places should do it
I went to try this place as I had seen it on instagram and they had a really neat logo and afterall, they had fried chicken and wings! My all tim3 favourite. I had tried their buffalo wings and a piece of chicken leg. Drumstick was sold out on the day. I found the wings to be nothing special but still was tasty with that typical zing to it. The chicken piece (leg) however tasted delicious! It was boneless for starters and it had a nice crunch to it but wasn't overly fried lile KFC. Had been rolled in some spices which was a bonus! They also have an app you can download and pre order from. Not a bad little food cart!
I am a sucker for fried chicken so when I heard of Lucky Egg I had to try it out. Ordered the original crispy, fries and dorito popcorn chicken. Popcorn chicken was tasty, similar to KFC. Fries were super nice...loved the seasoning and the portions are pretty big. Burger was nice and I especially loved the slaw - it made it taste really fresh. It wasn't as greasy as I was expecting which made it even better - not a messy burger to eat and you don't feel too guilty afterward.
Tasty Chicken Karaage no more belongs only in good Asian restaurants. Lucky Egg can deliver just that delicious lightly battered pieces of chicken thigh with hint of soy and ginger. Get yourself some Kimchi Mayo and you're set for a good meal or starter if you are a big eater. Their menu is compact but packed with good items that won't disappoint. The only complaint is they're only open 4 days a week. But their food tastes so good hence we found ourselves outside the gate on their closed days from time to time.
This was a heaps grouse burg. Bring ya misso. She'll love it. Service was real swift and personal. The boy behind the frier was a real cutie. Defo coming back for seconds if you catch my drift.
Sometimes you are just blown away by places and this is one of them. Not being a Brisbane local we were looking for a place to have lunch when we walked past this food truck type place. So we thought why not give it a go and boy was I happy we did.I'm not sure what they use to batter their chicken with, but it hit all the right notes. It was crispy, tender and full of flavour. It really made this one of the best chicken burgers I have had. The chips were also of a high quality and the little outside beer garden venue gave this the perfect vibe
My first time to Lucky Egg - didn't realise that it was part of a night club which was a little surprise.
Ordered the wings (50c wednesdays) and a set of fries. The food was what you expect from food trucks and street food which was lovely.
Nicely flavoured chips with bite size wings which weren't too dry. May come again.
I love this place, I never get a photo of the food because I eat it too quickly. The chicken is free ranged and delicious. The crispier burger I have eaten. All the sides are great as well. I go as much as possible.
Let's face it- there's a time for healthy eating and there's a time when only comfort food will do. If you're out in Fortitude Valley late on a Friday night, chances are you're not hankering for an acai bowl. This is where new restaurant Lucky Egg steps in. Located at the relatively new live music venue, The Brightside, Lucky Egg serves up free range, locally sourced fried chicken to keep those midnight munchies away.
Brisbane's best! This little place has awesome street food and amazing burgers.
The staff are very friendly and worked their butts off to cater to the hungry crowd that was eger to try.
Dont get me wrong it was busy but i can understand it was their opening night, I imagine any other night it would be smooth service but they kept the wait just under 30 mins and the burgers where worth the wait and very well priced and they haven't skipped on ingredients.
Im really impressed.
Check it out.
Lucky egg? More like 'this place smells like a French bakery' haha
Loved my little chooky burger, missus is a bit late so I'm hanging around here for a bit.
Nice strong guys working the burgers.
Pretty good chicken. Open super late on weekends so always good if you’re up for something greasy and delicious.
Staff were friendly, plenty of seating, tables were clean. Fast service.
Ok so I may have only had under 10 chicken burgers so far as I prefer beef but wow the buffalo crispy burger I had here is the best chicken burger I have eaten to date.
If you love buffalo sauce then this burger is for you. Sauce is delicious with a good zing to it. Pickles very strong and cut through the sauce nicely. Bun was small compared to other places but still tasty. Now the chicken itself was exceptional, crunchy coating but still juicey on the inside. Wasn't too oily however eating wings alongside the burger it did accumulate by the end and leaves you feeling a bit greasy (the only criticism I could find).
The wings were solid, up there with any of the other good wing joints in Brissie. I do need to mention the chips though. Little bit rustic with this red seasoning I couldn't get enough of. The chipotle mayo was smokey and paired with the chips was sensational. I'd go back just for that.
Super delicious burgers. The fried chicken is great, but the Beef is amazing. Super fluffy bun and melted cheese was almost cream-like. Beef was super tender and perfectly cooked. Staff are friendly too.
2 piece buttermilk chicken was really crunchy and tasty and the French fries were AMAZING! The sauce that came with it was great too... However, the Dorito fried chicken was not nearly as appetizing, unfortunately. Rather dry and not very tasty... Would definitely go back for the buttermilk chicken though... When I'm feeling like an unhealthy treat. :)
