I think it was the same deal of 50% off food bill from the Fork festival at my visit here last year. We had our second time last night. Business seemed slightly quiet than before.
We placed orders of Duck spring roll, grilled eye fillet and market fish of the day.
Honestly, the spring rolls serve the crispy texture but no duck meat taste at all. Eye fillet prepared well in med-rare; however the Caesar salad was not as good as last time. Hero should be swordfish with seared scallops. The freshness of seafood has been highlighted in the dish. Pumpkin puree is a perfect match with the protein.
Overall, even though production was not as superb as the first time, the CP is high and it is recommended.

My girlfriend and I chose this place for a Sunday afternoon relax with drinks and finger food. Atmosphere was very good with casual music (not too loud), staff were very polite and friendly. Adequate seating and everything was clean. Definitely going to return for a lunch or early drinks.
Had the mushroom burger and it was very yummy and filling. The atmosphere was nice and soft as well as the DJ starting up at 2pm. Water was provided and the staff gladly gave us a jug of water.
We booked our table of 6 to watch the AFL Grand Final on Saturday of a long weekend. Table was in front of the big screen and was a good position- close to the bar where you could also order food. The menu is quite extensive so there were plenty of options including burgers, oysters, bigger meals and desserts. As it was mid afternoon we all felt like snack food while we drank. Pizzas were good- decent size and not those awful sloppy based type that are so popular for some reason. These had a thicker crust and not too much cheese on top. We also shared haloumi fries with hummus and dukkah, chips, pumpkin and maple salad, karage chicken and oysters. The food was all enjoyable and they have plenty of drinks to choose from- lots of beers on tap. Great afternoon spent here!
Good service. Cold beer.
Can be quite crowded on a Saturday night. But over all good place for a drink with friends or celebrations.
Needs to turn the aircon up, so it’s a bit cooler to cope with the amount of people.

I was a bit skeptical when I heard that my office Christmas party was going to be held at the Osborne Hotel, formerly the Fringe Bar.
Fortunately, they did an amazing job with the renovation and everything went off really well.
Great renovation, well appointed decor, friendly and attentive staff, a wide selection of beers on tap and spirits on offer, and tasty entrees and mains.
Highlights included the Taleggio and Parmesan Arancini with Truffle Aioli, Beef and Ale Tiny Pies, and the Beer Battered Flathead with Chips. The Gluten Free options - Chicken main and platter - were very well received!
Very busy venue on a Friday evening (three Christmas parties taking place concurrently) but would definitely return.
What a great way to rescue the sunken Fringe bar. Top points on the refurbishment. Huge venue with great beers on tap. The staff are great and the live music on Sunday spot on. I got to try the margarita pizza and it was really authentic but super small in size. It was like a small personal pizza and for the price it wasn’t worth it. Definitely a cool spot for drinking in the Valley.
Friendly service. Good menu selection that was delivered quickly and hot. Table size and spacing is cosy but comfortable. Excellent drinks range although could do with more non-alcoholic options. The demographic was wide ranging and we'll behaved, making for a happy evening. Now the bad... The music was LOUD, left with a sore throat and it got tiresome asking people to repeat what the he said. Even ordering our meals was an effort, only downer for the night. Will definitely return, perhaps for lunch and hoping for no music.
Just my favourite bar in brisbane. The music is always good, especially when is the live music. The deals during the week are really worth. On Thursday they have the Steak deal which is my favourite
My mum and I shared this beautiful meat lovers pizza for lunch as we waited for an appointment close by. All the staff were very lovely and the food magnificent. We loved the setting of where we were seated under luscious gardens. If we ever found ourselves in the valley again we would definitely be back!

Fantastic chips, best had in very long time. Salad and sauce num. Couldn't care for the steak. Bit dry not much flavour
We were greeted at the Osborne with helpful staff clearing off a table and with quick and friendly service. With live music, plenty of seating and a great vibe after their last renovation, this is a great place to catch up with friends for a few drinks. If you are looking for a fun and lively place for drinks then this is a great option in the Valley and close to everything should the party kick on into the night...
I highly recommend this venue. We visited post an early dinner with a couple visiting Brisbane for the weekend. The staff and service was exceptional. We were entertained by a fabulous guitarist and a group of women dancing. The female security were fabulous, watching over those that need a little assistance, offering water but not spoiling their fun. So refreshing to see. Well done! Will definitely be visiting again soon and recommending.
We celebrated a Hen's party at one of the function rooms at the Osbourne Hotel. We ordered platters which were plentiful, extremely tasty and fresh.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A shout out to Lexie, Helen and Jude. I would recommend the Osbourne for any function. The booking and payment were seamless. 10/10 to everyone involved in making the Hen's a memorable one for our special Hen.
It's my first time to try at Osbourne with my co-workers, we had a wonderful time, the ambience is cool and fun, like the busy-fun-vibe is always there. The food is delicious, reasonable prices and the drinks as well. We loved our experience since the staff are really friendly and nice. Will be coming back soon with my friends.
Called in for quick drinks and pizza pre-movies around the corner at James St. Staff so helpful and accommodating. Drinks served quick smart and the pizza (Chicken & Camembert) hot and fresh. Girl at bar even wished a good night and ‘Enjoy your movie’. Well done to all at such a friendly pub. We’ll be back. Loved it.
