Review Sushi Train - Brisbane

Store is normally busy with a short wait but this means everything is kept nice and fresh. Staff are friendly and will make things to order.

This place used to be much better. We used to go there a lot when it was new and staff were great. Now the wait staff is rushed off their feet, forgetting our requests on multiple occasions and not doing their job properly. Standards are lacking as when I sat down i wiped the table with a wet wipe and it came out brown. Not good enough. It's important to me as I have 3 kids. Food is not as good as other sushi trains or sushi restaurants.

Since I moved to Brisbane in 2016, Chermside Sushi train has been my favorite place for my family. I noticed some changes from taste of menus and size of sushi as well last 6 months. Today, I visited here for family dinner and it was absolutely disappointing experience. My little one's menu was ordered the first place but they missed its order until I figured out. Also, Udong was extremely salty but they remade one for me after I complained to them. I felt I wasted my $50 for nothing. Well, I am not a tricky eater at all as long as served menus are fresh with good size and freshly cooked rice with it. I won't go there again from now on. You people just lost one regular customer.

Let's get Sushi!, One of the best sentences that can be uttered at lunch time. However, was disappointed by my experience here in comparison with other sushi places. The quality of the sushi was substandard with frozen chicken schnitzel in the place fresh crumbed and fried goodness. The salmon was tasteless and washed out. The pricing for what you get is also way above the level of quality. Chermside on a whole is crying out for a quality more authentic fresh Sushi place.

The best Sushi Train restaurant I've been too, good customer service and the green tea is delicious. Glenn one of the sushi chefs added a lot of character to the establishment, it's a shame he seems to have left! Yeeep what more can I say.

Love sitting against the track and enjoying the great sushi. Thus place is usually quite busy so the turnover of plates is good. Like most sushi trains you can always order an udon or rice bowl if sushi isn't your thing. I've always found this place fast and clean with good sushi.

So this one is unusual. It's a sushi train but is in a little, out off the way shop at the edge of the food court. It's so small the conveyor belt actually doubles back on itself with no gap in the middle. The staff stands on one side of the doubled up conveyor and you're on the other side. However, this is, without exception, the best sushi I've ever tasted. I'm not going to bother describing the selection, just say that this is the best you'll get outside a high end restaurant. It can be a bit difficult to get the waitresses' attention as they're usually pretty busy, but they are polite when they arrive. There are a couple of booth seats here but during the dinner rush, they get claimed fast.

Restaurant is nice, staff are lovely however the food could be a higher standard. I ordered a warm dish and it was pre made and microwaved. Not how it's done at any other Train. I would go back again though. To try something different and see.
