Review Welcome Indian Restaurant - Brisbane

jas armo
A humble looking place but the food is brilliant, fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back for more

Lovely people and very accommodating. Not the most comfortable ambience for dining in during winter, so I would recommend getting takeaway instead, but seriously, the best and most authentic Malaysian Indian food in Brisbane. Must try!
Joe K
This Malaysian Indian eatery is impressive when one sees the constant crowds dining here. Seating myself as the lone waiter is run off his feet, I see that every diner here is Indian. Say no more!

I ask for the Roti Canai with Curry Chicken. This piping hot Roti is fabulous, crispy outside and soft chewy inside. The Chicken Curry is fragrant with a multitude of spices and I recognise the familiar taste of Baba Curry Powder. I rate this meal a 5!

Authentic delicious Malaysian Indian food and prices are reasonable. However, the tiny dining area is tight, there is no air conditioning despite the Summer heat and the complimentary water is warm. If one can look past these negatives, Bon Appetit!

Easily the best Indian in Brisbane. Good balance of North and South Indin curries with Malaysian specialities. Great value and amazing taste. My weekly curry choice.
Foodie In The House
This place doesn’t look fancy from the street but looks can be deceiving. I prefer the food here over Brick Lane in London or Little India in Singapore. It’s amazing. The chilli crab on weekends is delicious.

have been going to this restaurant already for a few years. Consistent quality, great service and always very affordable. Decoration and the place are very simple, however food-wise, this is probably the best Indian restaurant in all Queensland.

Regardless its lack of vibrant atmosphere and fancy decor, our dining experience at Mamak Tandoori House was wicked. The service wasn’t top but good enough.

Eggplant pakoda, that we rarely found on a menu in Indian restaurants, were served nice and hot with eggplant soft inside and crisp batter. The accompanied yoghurt based mint and coriander sauce was divine.

Goat pepper masala blew us away. It was a perfectly tender, juicy and flavourful curry.

The chicken Sambal had a complex flavour that was all at once earthy, spicy and hot. Pretty sure Mamak made its own sambal paste that was the tastiest one we had every had.

Mamak had definitely beaten Curry ville in Morningside where it used to our best Indian.
Catdog
Mostly Indian food on offer but the mango chicken was quite good as was the lamb sukka. Would have given a 5 if the roti was better but I quite liked the naan. Lassi was delicious.

Went here with a friend for dinner on her recommendation. The atmosphere and service is not that great, but the food more than makes up for it. Shared a couple dishes and had to compromise on the spice levels and had everything at a mild/medium. The flavours and spices in the curries are just awesome.

Amazing food!!

We made an impulse decision and a last minute booking on Friday night for dinner and we were so pleased that we did!

We finally tried the crab curry at Mamak Tandoori House and it was terrific - the flavours were sensational! It was incredibly messy to eat - but fun! The fried okra was delicious too!

May 14, 2017
Outstanding!! Sensational!!
As lovers of spicy Indian and Malaysian food, we came here expecting to be disappointed. We ordered a Mysore Masala Dosa (basically a traditional Masala Dosa smeared with a extra chilli tomato paste) and a Lamb Roti Murtabak which came with a bowl of fragrant lamb & chicken coconut curry. The food was sensational!! The flavours were authentic and everything tasted like it had been freshly made from scratch (instead of the usual commercial curry paste/sauces). The dosa and the murtabak was as good as or probably even better than anything we've eaten in India or Malaysia!! We'll definitely be back to try some things!

Be warned though - with food this good, this small restaurant is very popular. You really need to make a booking and be prepared to wait!!

Will be back. Best Naan in Brisbane! We ordered for a group 3 curries, 2 meat 1 veg all in all good flavours. Definitely too much food so go with an empty stomach.
Christoff Williams
Delicious meal, and huge - we ordered 2 mains, 2 naans, 2 samosas and medium rice, planning for leftovers for next day lunch. As is, we got extra rice and separated it into 2 extra meals each. So 6 servings altogether, for $52 all up! And the Kashmiri naan in particular was one of the best we've ever enjoyed, as was the saag paneer. Great, friendly service as well. Highly recommended.
Frenchfrygirl
Terrible service. The eggplant curry & veg samosas were nice, however wait staff were brutally rude. To be fair we were a table of 7, but took a long time for each meal to come out and when the wrong order had come out, the waitress demanded we take it anyway. Very rude, won't be going back.

Simply the best Indian in Brisbane. The food at Mamak is very authentic and has excellent flavours. The aroma from Mamak is so inviting that you instantly become hungry as soon as you walk in. The tandoori chicken and tikka masala are soo good! All I can say is YUM!

I really wanted to try Mamak Tandoori House but there was nothing really child friendly on the menu so we ordered take-away. I was told the order would take 45 minutes but when I got there it was already ready and I suspect it may have been for a while.

For 2 hungry adults we ordered the Prawn Pakoda as a starter. The batter was deliciously spicy and the mint sauce was delicious but by the time we ate them the prawns were completely cold.

For mains we ordered Assam Fish and Vegetable Korma. The Assam fish container was over-filled and spilled everywhere in the bag. It looked really oily when I opened it and had a layer of oil over most of the top. The flavour of the curry was delicious. The mackerel was an interesting choice as it is very firm-fleshed but it was lovely and cooked well. The okra was also lovely.

The vegetable korma was amongst the best I have tasted and was definitely not bland or boring. My only complaint was the excessive amount of peas. I would have liked a more balanced mix of vegetables.

The garlic naans were delicious and generously sized. We also had a large rice to share which ended up being quite a lot. Overall, the amount was too much for just 2 people. The lady who served me was not particularly friendly but once I was there she was quite quick and there was no waiting. I'd happily return for the flavour of the food.

Just fantastic food !! Challenge to find any better Indian / Malaysian food out there in Brisbane other than this.
Superbly delicious plentiful food.
Sherrina Lee
Good Assam fish and Ayam masak merah. One of the best of the best Malaysian curry in Brisbane so far. Will definitely go back with family and friends.

Literally, the best Indian restaurant in town, or specifically, the best Malaysian Indian restaurant in town. Historically, in Brisbane, it has been rather challenging to find authentic Indian food. I think I can think of only two other places that come close. I believe I've tried almost everything on the menu and nothing will disappoint you. The Murtabak is a must try. The goat curry is simply sensational. Their spicy crab curry is simply delicious. I usually include photos with my reviews but I think I have too many photos of all their dishes. Attached is a picture of their dosa and Murtabak, one of my all time Sunday brekky faves. The family who own the restaurant are very hospitable and friendly. You can tell that this is their passion and it is evident in their dishes.

We come here regularly. It's better to make a table reservation before you go, the place is quite small and they are very busy all the time. Usually only one person at the counter doing take away, cashier, waiter and cleaning up job, but service not too slow. We love love love love their goat curry. It's a must whenever we eat here, the best in Brisbane! Naan is amazing too! Roti and dosa during weekend lunch hours are very delicious too! I once spoke to the lovely lady boss, they make their own curry paste, thus the quality is guaranteed! Authentic Malaysian Indian food! Yum!

The food here is fantastic. I have eaten many curries in my many travels I just never thought that I would find one of the best right here on our new doorstep. Recently moved to Camp Hill we have been trialing the variety of eateries in the area. Fancying a curry we visited Mamak and my fellow foodie partner and I were blown away.

The flavours are spot on. You can taste that they are cooking with fresh spices. The serves are plentiful, the staff are friendly. Ok the decor is typical of a suburban curry house but who really cares when they serve this kind of food.

The Naan is soft and fresh, we also had the Chicken Tikka Masala (On the waiters recommendation), Goat Curry the Eggplant Vindaloo. All were fantastic.

I cant wait to return.
Slim
Amazing Indian food! The chicken chettinadu is outstanding and the fried okra was delicious. Gulab Jamun was fresh and tasty. Best Indian I've had in a long time. Yes, it is quite a long wait for the food but it is most definitely worth it.
Russel Smith
By far this is the best Indian food in Brisbane. The tastes are only created by using fresh spices which are evident in the food. The portions are large. So bring a friend or a big appetite. The staff are friendly and take pride in explaining the best meals on the menu...which is pretty much everything we have tried. A must try.
Lisa Wanno
So good! Big serves, amazing flavours. The Aloo Mutter Paneer was just delicious. Had high expectations after reading reviews and they are on the money.
Nathan Leonard
Delicious curries every time. Rich and explosive dishes that tick all the right boxes from sweet, savoury, creamy and complex Indian-style flavours. I love their Chilli Panner from the vegetarian selection and usually pair that up with something more tradtional eg. Madras, Rogan Josh, Korma etc. and the rice/naan combo. I am guilty of always ordering too much food but happy to take some home for leftovers the following day. Service is speedy, friendly and relaxed with plenty of customers streaming in and out speaking for itself. Always happy to visit Mamak! Recommend.
Cheryl
Very tasty curry, butter chicken is so juicy and smooth, lamb curry and eggplant curry are very nice too. Really good cheeses spinach nann and my favorite Indian Malaysian milk tea

SERVICE = Bad, FOOD = Great.
First time there and this lady (Lisa) had the worst attitude ever. Needs to learn customer service skills to survive in this business. Wont last long like this.

The best Indian/Malaysian I've eaten by far- though I've never been to either country really. I'm pretty good with spice but don't try and be a hero here, it's pretty brutal. Every dish is a taste explosion and so creamy and well...a little fatty, but that's why its good!! The vego dishes are particularly good. I recommend ordering a more mild dish to compliment the really spicey ones. Don't change...ever. Even the daggy deor!
N&M
Bold, rich flavours in the Goa fish curry, but literally 5-6 small pieces of fish and 2 slices of capsicum for $16.50? Fish was slightly over cooked too.

Whilst the butter naan was overall delicious, the last piece was dry and lacked butter, essentially representing a piece of cardboard with herbs sprinkled on top.

Coconut rice lacked any true coconut flavour, but on the upside, the rice was cooked perfectly - not hard, not soggy.
Tukang Maem
Nice indian dinner. Our fave indian resto has closed down so we're looking for the new indian resto for us to visit regularly. We went there last week and we like it. Chicken tikka massala was delicious. The only thing we don't quite like when they cut the onion pieces it was too big. Cheese spinach naan was yummy too. One curry is more than enough to feed both of us plus rice and naan bread to share. The service was pretty efficienta and polite. We'll come back and try different curry!
Angusos212
Mamak. Best Indian restaurant ever. The food has a smokey flavor to it. All up, delicious!

Excellent cuisine! great flavours!. Having lived in Malaysia and visited India, I now know I don't have to go back to indulge myself in the best of its foods! 5 stars for Mamak Tandoori House!

Good Food - but not authentic Malaysian Indian.. One of the better Indian restaurants that I've been to in Brisbane. If we want to eat Indian, this is the restaurant we visit.
Having said that, it is however not Malaysian Indian at all. Malaysian Indian cuisine is fairly different. (N/B I was born in Malaysia and familiar with the cuisine). I asked, and apparently one of the cooks (originated from India) has worked in Malaysia for a couple of years in the past.

On a separate note, one of the best Indian restaurants that I've been to recently is India's Restaurant (http://www.indiasrestaurant.net/) .... its a bit far tho' if you live in Brisbane.
Grubey Grubes
Wonderful taste, beautiful cuts and tenderness, great portions. What to say that others haven't?

The sum of authenticity, taste, generous portions, unique dishes, gorgeous naan....bloody hell, this is how it's done.

Mamak in the back, Mushi on the naans, Raj on the tables.....when you go, tell them George sent you....lol.

BTW, I've been to many Indian joints in Brisbane over 10-15 years, searching for quality, consistency, value - Southern Spice @ Mount Gravatt, Sitar @ Coorparoo/Albion, Taj Mahal @ New Farm, Grand Taj @ Carindale, Curryville @ Morningside, Punjabi Place @ West End, etc.....each ok in some way, but why would I ever go back to them now? I wouldn't and you won't once you go.
Dave Lee
Ayam kambing beg (I am coming back!). Food was authentically Indian-Malaysian and perfectly cooked. Everything just melts in your mouth and you'd be wanting more. Servings could be a bit bigger but the taste and the generosity with the sauce that comes with each dish makes up for it. Was a bit unsure at first as I have a very sensitive stomach to both spicy food and dairy products (and I love both), but had no problems whatsoever so I've marked this place as a safe favorite. Looking forward to this Friday night for another round of delicious Mamak cuisine.
Dobsessed
Ordered 3 Malaysian style curries and they were all brilliant. Tasted very authentic, full of flavour and perfect amount of spice. We had the Randang, Adam Something or rather and a lamb kapitan - delicious. Even the basmati rice and the naan were great.
Will def. Be back.
Walters_is
Super Tasty!. Went there tonight with mum and the service was great and the food was incredibly tasty! The garlic naan was beautiful and nice and light :) The Raitha was so fresh, the rice was perfectly cooked and out curry was nice and spicy and rich without being really heavy and rich like most curries. Highly recommend this place! :)
Cherie Mitchell
Maybe we struck an off night. We were recommended this restaurant, but will not return. The entrees were cold, the naan bread was appalling (soggy with jarred yellow garlic scraped across it) and it was not delivered until the meal was over. The sauces were watery and lacked flavour and we were left with an unpleasant taste. The interior of the restaurant is not at all welcoming - feels like sitting in an industrial workman's lunchroom.. There are plenty of good ethnic restaurants around and this failed to meet our standards.

Take Away takes too long. Great food but if they say 45 mins for takeaway come back in an hour and a quarter!
Kris
Awesome. The best indian food I've tried ever!!!! I'm going again tonight!!!
Kirstay_mac
Amazing!. We've always walked past this restaurant on the way to Grill'd and thought the food looked really good. This time we thought we'd give it a go. I'm so glad we did! The food was amazing. We had a tray of assorted entrees, then the lamb curry with the best naan bread I've ever tasted. This restaurant will definitely be a regular for us from now on.

Love love love. This is the only place I'll ever go for butter chicken! Absolutely delicious every time I get it. Also everyone working there is so sweet and the service is amazing. 5 stars!
Mootron
We have ordered delivery from here a few times. Some times they refuse delivery because they are short staffed which is a let down because they have such delicious food! Lots of vegan/vego options but I always seem to get the eggplant vindaloo which I just love (could be spicer though but flavours are amazing) and my partner has tried a few lamb dishes and he's always happy with the meal. If you love rich full flavoured food then this is the best there is!
Trishenet
Trish. I've been here a few times now and really impressed with the flavour of all the dishes. The goat curry was the best, best curry i've had in brisbane. the roti chanai and masala dosa are great also. generous serves, stacks of flavour. really good service.
Jc
Our go to place for good Malaysian Indian food. Absolutely love their fish curries and paneer. Can get a little busy at times during dinner, but definitely worth the wait.

Not to mention they do free delivery for orders more than $40
Tojo
Not As Authentic As You Think. Had lunch here on Sunday. Okay but did not hit the mark. Dosa did not have that authentic taste. Chicken tandoori was served with sweet chilli sauce (?). Being Malaysians, we found this to be a very watered down attempt at representing Malaysian food. Very disappointing.
Morvenst23
Home delivery. Ordered home delivery through eat now. First time user of online ordering and also this restaurant. Delivery was a bit slow as 40 mins turned out to be 65 mins. Ordered 3 dishes one of which was Sambal Sotong which is the Mackeral Malaysian style but got the Gulai Sotong(squid) in error. Was happy with the quality of food , spices etc but would have been good to get the correct meal
Grace Lung
Really tasty. We came here on the recommendation of a friend who had lived in Singapore for many years. We took one of our Malaysian Chinese friends here. We've had nice Indian food in KL before and were hoping to find something similar here.
We all enjoyed our meal - we ordered Beef Rendang, Eggplant Vindaloo, Chicken Briyani all Medium and some naan. Though I probably would have been more comfortable with Mild level, the flavour was such that I overlooked the chilliness. We packed some leftovers too. (There are Mild options, but most dishes start from Medium onwards)
The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We hope to come back and bring others.
Tina G
A party of four had dinner here last nite. We had lamb Kapitan,Hyderabad Briyani lamb both were delicious but will order a mild one next time - medium was too hot. My husband had beef vindaloo which he enjoyed - was firery hot for the rest of us. Lamb Korma was too creamy but our friend enjoyed it. The entree mint sauce was beautiful and so was the raita. The favors were great overall & will go there again. It can be a bit pricey but sharing with a group it's worth it u get to taste the dishes.

-----09 Feb, 2014-----

Had masala dosai for lunch today - it was worth waiting and value for money. It was a big flat paper thin pancake folded in half filled with mild curried potatoes and also 3 different dips - will definitely go there again.
Robyn
This place needs a "love" button, because "like" doesn't cover it. I've eaten a lot of Indian in my time, and this is very good indeed. Their specialty is the dosa lunch, which is available only on the weekends between 12-2pm. There are only a couple of other places in Brisbane that serve this giant crispy crepe with Indian dipping sauces, but after you've tried it once, you'll be hooked! My husband is avowedly anti-Indian-restaurant in his food preferences, but even he makes an exception for Mamak! The service is genuine and attentive, but be aware that the meals can take some time to prepare.

Best Indian food I've had in Australia EVER! - bad reviews have been written by the other Indian restaurants in town!. This is the best Indian food in Brisbane.

I come here every two weeks. I love this place so much

Here are my suggestions - go at lunchtime on a Saturday or Sunday between 12pm and 2pm when they have their Masala dosa specials. Make sure you get the one with potato in. They also do this nice thing with a small chicken curry.

But wait - this is what I always do - when you order your meal - also order a WHOLE CHICKEN TANDOORI (the orange chicken) to take away. By the time you have eaten your meal it will be ready - take it home - put it in the fridge and have it on a salad that evening or have it for lunch the next day.

It has so much flavour - good for all those people wanting lots of protein in their diet.

The place is really rustic - its got no ambiance - but the food is awesome - if you are planning to order anything expect a long wait - but its really worth it.

I reckon the bad reviews on here have been written by other Indian restaurants scared by how great these guys can cook!

I live in Camp Hill, I like Malaysian style Indian curries, and UK style curries, and this is the best Indian food I've had in Australia EVER!
Richirich78
Amazing Indian - The best in Town so far. By far the best and authentic indian curries, we ordered three veg dishes and all three had distinct and heavenly flavours. South Indian on Saturday's and Sunday is equally authentic. Must go for any Indian food lovers. Will be back soon.
Pny660
A Hidden Gem. Dined here a few week ago with a group of friends who are all curry connoissseur's. It's a basic restaurant but the meal was up there with the best - great flavours.
Cate
I just created an urban spoon account so I could give a positive review to this restaurant (take away: I have not eaten in) I always get this fabulous vegetarian dish (no. 12). So delicious.
Chris Bermingham
Gone to heaven!. Had mixed entrée and misc. Green yoghurt dip, where have you been all my life?! Beef pepper masala and butter chicken for mains with paneer and a pashwani naan. Rediculous ly good. Cannot stress how awesome this place is, thank you! Will be back!!!
Vjphotos
Delicious and authentic. This restaurant is a hole in the wall, but it was a busy little place. The service was very good and very friendly. We had the lamb saguala which was very rich and tasty and went well with garlic and cheese naan. Big chunks of lamb, we actually couldn't finish it. We also had a squid curry. The sauce was heavenly and went well with rice. We would love to go back, even just for takeaway. My husband is Indian/Malay and enjoyed it very much.
William
Had a takeaway today...the food was really amazing and the taste of the curries have stick in my tongue and the naan bread was so soft and tasty by chef muki...I will be ur permanent staff guys Keep it up guys!u guys doing well
George
Mamak tandoori house...I would just say WOW!!! This is the best indian restaurant in brisbane so far....the food was really flavorsome and the service was the best as well.i will be back again..n I will recommend this to all of my friends as well

Malaysian Indian food. Mamak tandoori ..... Wud be by far the best Malaysian Indian restaurant in brisbane ... All the curries are authentic Top tasting n they all differ from one another, the curry crab curry is exquisite .......Most North Indian diners all relatively similar ......the chef Tajudin always maintains quality n authencity. Highly recommended ...... For true Malaysian indian cuisine .
Wolfe
You Have To Try This!. This has to be the best Indian food on the Southside!

Sunday Lunch Review. Been craving for authentic thosai and roti chanai. Having previously lived in Malaysia and recently returning from a holiday there, we just wanted to savour them again in Brisbane. Tried a number of restaurants but just could not get the right taste, texture and authencity until we came here 2 weeks back.
We had thosai, rotis and chicken briyani rice. My....they were superb!!! The curry that day was deliciously awesome. The chef used the right spices and the right amount too. We were pleased that the curry that accompanied the thosai and roti chanai were generous. The service was excellent and so was the parking. we will be back again.

Mmm..yummo!. Been wanting to try this place for a while. Went tonight and loved it. I ordered the assam fish and it tasted fantastic! Next, i think i will try the sambal fish. The assam fish tasted very authentic. The chef I hear is from Penang, my home town. He even looks like an authentic typical mamak chef. Lol. To quench my thirst, i ordered an ice teh tarik, lovely! The portions are generous. The place is smaller than i envisioned it, and was quiet for a saturday night, however this place has only been opened for 4 months i was told. When word gets out, this place will be packed. Definitely plan to be a regular. And as i only live within 15 minutes away, is very convenient. Hopefully, there will be more mamak stall around brisbane. One happy customer here!
Melinda Tan
Fantastic Malaysian Indian food. I think this is the best one in brisbane
Kywong Ky
Best malaysian indian food! Very authentic
Aaron
Disappointed. I've been to this place twice; first time round was amazing! The roti, curries and everything else that followed was incredible. However, after visiting a second time with friends and being served tandoori chicken that was raw in the center... I will never go there ever again and it's a real shame because their food was both unique and very flavorsome. When I approached the chef in relation to this incident he said sorry, but honestly this truly instill a whole lot of confidence given the chicken was completely raw apart from the skin on the exterior. Unfortunately due to this incident I will never recommend or visit this restaurant again.
Elle Fox
Finger-licking. Yes indeed this certainly is one of Brisbane's finest Indian restaurants. We got a couple of the dishes, one being the butter chicken....OMG! Amazing tender yet so scrumptious in flavour. Soooo, i kinda had 2 serves, with the feta and spinach naan, yes i know, stop it. AMAZING! I'll be ordering take-away again for sure. Thumbs up people :)
Faris
This is the best indian restaurant that i ever had since i was in australia. The food was really authentic and it taste really delicious!!and the service was excellent by a young waiter and i would rate them 9/10.I will be a permanent customer here!!
Mmfsurg
Went there last nite after having walked past it earlier that day. Then owners are from Penang, so there is some authenticity. The naan and tandoor chicken excellent. The Assam fish lacks sourness, although it looked quite appetizing. The mackerel fish used was not freshest it could have been. I will come back n try the dosai, rotis
and fish head curry. For now only 6/10
SR
The best Malay / Indian in Brisbane. I have been following Mamak eversince I moved to Brisbane back in 2010. He has worked/partnered several curry house in Brisbane now on his own Mamak Tandoori House. His partner venture Riverwalk Tandoori at Highgate hill has been the best Brisbane curry house until Mamak Tandoori House. Mamak's Weekend dosa delights for brunch / lunch is our regulars but try their yummy prawn biryani, pepper chicken (semi dry), Lamb curry which has been our favourites.

If you are a sea food fan, try mamak's fish head curry and chilli crab. It is the best in Brisbane!

Taste is authentic and prices are affordable. Try once you will become an addict.

This is now my new favourite Indian Restaurant in the whole of Brisbane. All the dishes I've tried so far are fantastic, full of flavour and you can taste each ingredient. I've been looking for a place to equal those I loved in the UK and this is it. The staff are very friendly too. Give it a go, you won't regret it.
Dr David
Authentic Food!. Had brunch over the weekend and found the food really authentic and service was efficient! Portions are big and their dosai was exceptional in Brisbane. Curry is a not that spicy - we had ordered it medium - but the food was flavoursome. We'll definitely be back!
Sheila D
Delicious food. Tried this place out as we are from Malaysia and wanted to test how authentic this place is. The food was awesome. The cucur udang was the best we ever tasted - better than back home even! The chicken beriyani was divine as we had it in medium and the chili lamb was not spicy and very tender and tasty. The service was excellent, staff attentive and portions fairly large. Will come again!
Anthea
Best Indian in the area. Ordered some takeaway last night , after finishing at the gym, curry was very flavoursome and seemed very authentic. Bout time we got some great Indian in the area, well priced and well presented young boys taking orders. Will be back
Alex Appietto
This is the best Indian in the area hands down,if not all of brisbane. this is not watered down overly sweetened western styled curry. This is Malay Indian style cuisine and oh so good. I used to go to the riverwalk tandoori, which is affiliated with this shop, but am now a regular at their new venture . It's a family owned business with a penangite chef, try their amazing Bengal fish curry, vegetarian curries are to die for, crab curry , chicken shai korma, chicken malabar and lamb sagewalla all outstanding!! If you like biryiani, these guys do it well, my favourite is the chicken biriyaini .
All food has amazing flavour and its so authentic and great portion Size. Keep up the good work guys, won't be long till you guys are flat out all the time .
TIFFIN Bite Sized
...Dosa that draws the admiring glances. An enormous disc of fermented rice batter cooked into a crispy pancake, filled with a spiced potato curry. The Dosa comes with a range of accompaniments including a thin sambhar and a delicious fresh red chutney that looks as fierce as Shiva's eye but is in fact sweet and rich, taking it's red colour from reduced tomato rather than chilli.
Hooi
It tasted very authentic and you have chunky pieces of fish enough to be shared among three people. We devoured both curries even though we were sniffling by the end of it. Yum!
