You say fresh and healthy. This avocado is brown and old it was very unpleasant. Tried to grab something better than hospital food. Turns out it was better than zagames.

There was no cauliflower so I had bean and rice. There was probably 90% mushed tasteless rice in my borito. I could taste a little bit of beans towards the end but even the lettuce, corn and tomato was basically nonexistent. I couldn't even taste verde sauce. I feel bad for leaving such a bad review but honestly it's the worst meal I've ever had. 14 Feb 2022, lunch

Staff were fantastic - 4 stars for them. Food under average - 2 stars for the food. Has eaten here before and it was great but not this time. Totally lacking in taste.

Easily the worst burrito bowl I've ever had, and I am not one to write bad reviews. I Pais $15 for ride and cheese. Could not find the chicken. Tasted poor and was cold. Save your money and palate. Go somewhere else....

6$ for nachos. See pictures below ! Expectations vs Really ! Conclusion: Nachos = Vegetables I’m still looking for the Nachos, let you know when I will find them. Maybe they should call it NOchos.

I just ate the worst burrito I've ever had from this store. It was dry, needed to be wrapped twice due to it falling apart and $17. The staff didn't ask me if I wanted the extras. At the register they're offering a discount for people who leave a 5 star google review so take those reviews with a grain of salt. I won't be back.

Ate there 24th Sep 5pm ish. Taco shell was raw not crunchy (not heated long enough) then to TOP it off I had an extremely long ginger hair in my taco! Vomit

I always go to Zambrero as you can see this my sixth time but the quality was so bad the meat was negligible. I always take it for the quality and the fillings but regret doing it today. I got it from south brisbane.

Food is great, so many options.<br/>Easy if your vegetarian too.<br/>My new favourite thing is combining the chilli sauce and the basillio.<br/>Not a fan of the black rice through, I thought it literally tasted like dirt.

I like Zambrero but find that I am consistently disappointed by this store. Always small. Burritos that are not worth the money you pay. Other stores are much better

Tried zambrero for the first time and was caught by the choices of food combo but decided to try the black rice which was something I really enjoyed. Was a simple dish and light in flavour. Tried the burrito version from the zambrero across from the PAH at another time and really enjoyed it - also very filling too

Fast convenient Mexican supporting a good cause in close proximity to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital and Mater. I'll admit that my first impression wasn't very positive - the flavor combinations just didn't do it for me (I'm more of a Guzman y Gomez type for burritos). But, what got me to return was the fact that I could order any combination of ingredients in any form that I wanted. I've been avoiding carbs, so I order 3 large scoops of chicken with cheese and lettuce and they just charge you $3 per scoop of meat and $0.50 per serving of cheese. Most of my colleagues like that is is 'lighter' Mexican and everyone raves about the black rice.

It's fast food, but pretty tasty, and you could believe, healthy. Be aware though, of all the extras to make it delicious. They add up. Extra for sour cream, extra for cheese, extra for guacamole.. You occasionally get grumpy staff too (no extra charge).

On the weekend its quiet and quick so a good option if you're at the Mater. Always had fresh and tasty foods at other Zambreros and this is no exception. Friendly service and surprisingly...its licenced!

Can't fault this place. ALWAYS fresh and tasty. Generous portion sizes. Friendly staff. Nice decor. Funky tunes. The oasis in a food desert. Very good, always good! 😄

I have been to Zambrero 3 times since it has open in South Brisbane, and my overall experience each time has been bad. The service during busy times is abysmal, the quality of the meat is below par and the prices, especially for the taco dish, are far to expensive for the quality of the food. Paying $13.90 for a serve of taco's is insane. The flavour combination of the taco chips, meat and salsas are bland and leave an empty feeling on teh taste buds. Avoid this place, overpriced, poor qualtiy ingredients and sub-par service.

Yummy food for sure but be warned about them asking if you would like this or that it more times than not costs extra and they often dont tell you until they have already added it to your meal and by the time you get to the register you get a rude shock .
